About: I have been a dog owner for over 20 years. I recently had to let my ole girl pass over the rainbow, such an heartbreaking decision to make. She was happy as the only dog if the house and I had a desire for more happy tails! So I decided to start walking dogs and doing pet visits so that I could fulfill my need for more waggy tails! I do work a local job that runs Monday -Friday, but am done by 3:15. I schedule my walks for 3:15 and after.I do get a 30 min lunch break that I can do washroom breaks for pets if needed. Walks are 30-45 mins. I do have weekends and evenings off, this is where I make the time for pups/cats. I do not tend to bring other dogs to my home, I have done so on occasion but only after my dog has had a chance to meet our new furry visitor. I do dog walks, visits and out door adventures for your pup. I even take some of my 4 legged friends to the back country roads, for that nice open free run!

“Laura and John are amazing! They have a beautiful home and a big fenced in yard for your pups to play. They have two beautiful and friendly golden retrievers who were great with our girl. Our pup, Skye, was spoiled in their care and it was very clear that they took her in as if she was one of their own. Laura kept in touch regularly and sent photos of our very happy girl. They took Skye to Gull Lake to swim and play which was above and beyond. Skye made herself right at home with Laura and John! We were incredibly pleased with the care and will definitely be asking Laura and John to watch Skye in the future.”

About: I have never been without dogs in my life, from growing up at home to being independent in my own home and raising my family. I currently have 2 large breed and 1 small breed dog. I believe socializing dogs is key to having a well rounded dog. My dogs have been socialized around adults, seniors, children, babies, cats, horses, goats, sheep and chickens. I currently manage a retirement community in Red Deer, my husband is semi-retired. We have 2 dwelling on our acreage. My mother and uncle reside in the second dwelling and are around 24/7, because of this 0-2 hour potty breaks are able to be offered. I will be the sole sitter responsible for caring for the dogs in my care. Our dogs are a huge part of our family, and are included in outings. They are provided with at least one walk a day, and are often found outside with us while chores are being done, or a fire and the pit is being enjoyed. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, and pet care during weekdays, evenings, and weekends. Your pet will get plenty of attention, supervision, and care since I’m home most of the time. I’m happy to work around your pet’s routine and needs! I have a fully gated backyard that provides a safe, secure space for pets to play, explore, and enjoy time outdoors. Your pet will always be supervised and cared for in a calm, loving environment. My home is a safe and welcoming space where your pet will feel comfortable, relaxed, and treated like family. My son loves to be outside playing fetch non stop with the dogs.

As well as grew up with yellow and golden labs from puppy till they passed 😢 Both my neighbours have dogs on each side of the fence and for that reason I am asking for well behaved animals as I don’t want to upset my neighbour's lives. I am an animal lover and enjoy playing catch as well as going for walks. I have one animal in my home, his name is tink and he is a 4 year old male neutered cat. I work part time and am a single mom that is usually available on short notice, as long as i do not have a prior commitment. We are a family of 3, myself and my two sons, ages 9 and 10. We have a small fenced yard and live in a townhouse complex.

About: I have been a dog owner for over 20 years. I recently had to let my ole girl pass over the rainbow, such an heartbreaking decision to make. She was happy as the only dog if the house and I had a desire for more happy tails! So I decided to start walking dogs and doing pet visits so that I could fulfill my need for more waggy tails! I do work a local job that runs Monday -Friday, but am done by 3:15. I schedule my walks for 3:15 and after.I do get a 30 min lunch break that I can do washroom breaks for pets if needed. Walks are 30-45 mins. I do have weekends and evenings off, this is where I make the time for pups/cats. I do not tend to bring other dogs to my home, I have done so on occasion but only after my dog has had a chance to meet our new furry visitor. I do dog walks, visits and out door adventures for your pup. I even take some of my 4 legged friends to the back country roads, for that nice open free run!

“Laura and John are amazing! They have a beautiful home and a big fenced in yard for your pups to play. They have two beautiful and friendly golden retrievers who were great with our girl. Our pup, Skye, was spoiled in their care and it was very clear that they took her in as if she was one of their own. Laura kept in touch regularly and sent photos of our very happy girl. They took Skye to Gull Lake to swim and play which was above and beyond. Skye made herself right at home with Laura and John! We were incredibly pleased with the care and will definitely be asking Laura and John to watch Skye in the future.”

She was even willing to meet before hand to get to meet and greet with our pup as it was our first time using a sitter for our dog. Frequent texts, picture updates and great exercise Completed the care for our dog. I could tell on pick up that our dog wasn’t stressed, nor eager to leave. About: I grew up on an acreage with dogs, cats, as well as horses! I am currently in distance-learning college and do not have any pets of my own anymore, but miss them so much. I’m very comfortable around animals and would love to have them be apart of my life again. My experience includes care for dogs from the puppy to senior ages. I apologize for the lack of photos with pets, I haven’t had any pets since I moved out on my own in 2021, plus I’m playing with them, not taking selfies ;) I am in college for nutrition counselling. My schedule is Monday to Friday 10am to 2pm, with 2 breaks, allowing ample time to care for your pet! We have a fenced back yard as well as lots of walking trails right out our front door for plenty of walks. I am able to crate your pet if needed. About: Like many others, I have been blessed with having the ability to care for animals throughout my life. In 2015, I had the wonderful opportunity to follow my passion professionally. I began working in a veterinarian clinic as a receptionist, technician assistant and external boarding for cats. After the adoption of our beloved Trixie in 2018, my focus shifted to behavior training while continuing care within the small animal medical atmosphere. Recently, I became certified as a professional pet dog trainer and specialized in aggression/reactivity/seperation anxiety. I continue my education through conferences/mentor sessions and am working towards becoming CCPDT certified. I am also an enrichment scent work instructor. I also have my Canine First Aid certification. If you are looking for someone to care for your companion, and would like to add any of the services that are mentioned above during their time with me (or at another time), I would love to get to know you and your companion. I am currently a stay at home mom and provide individualized training consultations as well as general pet care during early mornings and evenings during the week (including weekends). I offer limited care (1 or 2 dogs at a time) in my own home during the day if need be. My only requirements are that your companion not have prey drive (I do have cats and young children) and are good with another female adult dog. I have a large fenced in yard, and can accommodate your specific instructions/requirements as much as possible. Your companion will always be supervised and never left unattended.
