About: If you need an alternative to daycare and dog parks, where your dog can get all the attention and care that they need you have found the right place! I am open to boarding smaller dogs. My yard is fully fenced. My prices are firm based on time, my experience, gas, groceries, the 20% Rover takes and other expenses. Rest assured that I will make sure your pets gets plenty of care just as I do with my own pups! Every pet deserves the best care and I can cater to their specific needs. Pet safety is my main priority. I won’t leave dogs unattended to roam without a fence. I can take dogs off leash for walks within reason.

About: From caring for pets with hip dysplasia, diabetes, strict diets, or just quirky personalities! I’ve had my share of experiences, and I have learned the following: staying calm, remembering to laugh, and an extra treat can go a long way. In my care, your pet will have undivided attention and fun, get lots of love and tummy rubs, and probably listen to me vent about life (what are friends for right?) I’m currently a student at Dalhousie completing an honours in Neuroscience (another thing your pet will have to listen to). My lab work is quite flexible and can be scheduled around the care your pet requires. When I am in your home I care for your pet how you would if you were there. Tell me what do to make your pet the happiest and more comfortable they can be!

About: I have always had a love for animals and have had pets my entire life. In my adult life, I have happily accepted requests to dog sit over the years. I have taken care of two energetic border collies and even a husky that was as big as me! This usually has required me to stay in the dogs’ home for a week or more. Having also taken care of my own 9 year old dog from a puppy, I have both personal and professional experience caring for dogs! I am currently working part time until I start school in the fall, so my schedule is quite flexible! I teach a few yoga classes during the week and work in the studio for a few hours on the weekends, but am happy to accommodate! I have pets of my own, so I would only be taking care of your pet in their own house or outdoors if necessary. I have the proper seat protectors in my car, so would be happy to drive with pets as well.

About: I have had a special place in my heart for animals of all kind my whole life. I have a dog and three cats of my own and I have dogsat for friends and family on many occasions for prolonged periods. I work part time but I have the time to give your pet quality time and attention, walks, bathroom breaks, and whatever other special care they might need. I’m experienced with dogs of all sizes and temperaments and kitties of all attitudes. I will make sure your pet is cared for in the way that they’re used to being cared for so they feel comfortable and you feel at ease knowing they’re in good hands.

About: I have experience baby sitting my friend’s cat while she is away. I also have experience taking care of animals in our family. I have a cat (male tabby/white cat) named Jensen. My mom and sister have two dogs named Luski and Wowkwis (Mi’kmaq for bread and Fox). My dad has three dogs - Buddy and Chooch (both French bull dogs) and Mia (a terrier mix). Our pets are our pride and joy! I work full time but I am available on Mondays and Fridays during the day when I work from home. I am free Tuesday-Thursday in the evenings after 430. I am also free anytime on the weekends (Friday to Sunday)! Sorry, I will not be offering boarding services at this time because my cat at home will be under stress if I bring in other animals.

About: Hey there! 🐾 I am a true animal lover, with a soft spot for all creatures. I have a dog named Rooney and a cat named Wally who are both super friendly and playful! I am always the family member/friend who is called on to dog/cat sit so I figured, why not try rover and do it for the people in my community too! I love to go on off leash dog walks in trails, so if your puppy is social and loves a dog trail park, I am your gal! I love getting to know new animals and their personalities and I can't wait to meet your furry friend and provide the love and care they deserve! I have an open schedule! I am a recent graduate from Saint Mary’s University, looking to fill my extra time by caring for friendly animals! I can accommodate any routines that your pet requires! If you furry friend has a specific diet or medication routine, I will make sure they receive the special love and care they need! ❤️

“Shae is wonderful! I would definitely recommend her to anyone with fur babies! Thank you for all your help Shae! Will definitely re-book with you when I need a sitter! ☺️”

About: GET TO KNOW US: Gary and I have taken care of many pets various sizes over the past 10 years from as small as Guinea pigs to Newfoundland dogs. I love taking them for walks, teaching them new tricks or giving them a luxurious spa day! I’ve trained multiple puppies and kittens over the years and have cared to senior foster dogs administering oral medicine. It's entirely fenced in/secure, Our yard is well maintained for lots of safe outside playtime. SIZES & BREEDS: All breeds big and small are welcome in our home. We have a lot of experience with dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities. We can make sure all your pet's personal needs are met during their stay with us. MEDICATIONS & SPECIAL NEEDS: We are both very experienced when it comes to administering medicine to pets. It is very important to give us detailed instructions on your pet's medication dosages and times. PUPPIES & POTTY TRAINING: We are very comfortable with caring for puppies (only weeks old). We have extensive experience with potty training and basic commands. DAILY UPDATES: We make sure to send daily updates of your pet via pictures and videos on the Rover app. We send at least a couple of updates a day but you can always ask for more! HOME SECURITY: We have a home security system with cameras indoors/outdoors that help us keep an eye on your pets even while we are sleeping or running out for a quick errand. OUR GUARANTEE: Kisses, hugs, and treats are always free here! We treat every pet as if they were our fur baby. Being this is our full-time job our top priority is making sure you and your pets are comfortable, happy, well cared for, and fully satisfied with our service. All we ask for in return is a great review at the end of your stay! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ SERVICES DOG BOARDING: In our home means you will drop your dog(s) off at a previously discussed time at our home address. It is important to be punctual for your drop-off and pick-up times, as we are accommodating others. This helps everyone stay on schedule. If for some reason you cannot be on time let us know as early as possible to reschedule your time slot. They will stay with us the duration you are gone in our home until you come to pick them up at a time convenient for you. Again, punctuality is important! We are flexible on the pick-up and drop-off times but ask that they be at a reasonable hour. (anytime between 6 AM and 9 PM). DOGGY DAYCARE: Service where you drop your dog(s) off for the day in our home anytime between 6 am-7 pm. DROP-IN VISITS: When we stop by your home address to feed your pets food/water, go outside to potty & play, administer medications, etc. These visits are usually about 30-60 minutes long. We can stop in up to four times per day at any time needed between 8 am-9 pm. HOUSE SITTING: Would entail us staying in your home overnight for 10 hours (example: 10 pm-8 am) with your pet(s). This service includes TWO 30-40 minute daytime Stop-In Visits per booked overnight (usually around 12 pm and 5 pm). These stop-in visits would include feeding, playtime, potty breaks, and walks. We will also take care of watering your plants, bringing in your mail, and putting out your trash cans for pickup if you’d like. MEET & GREETS: When we meet with you and your pets, either in our home (boarding & daycare) or in your home (stop-ins, walks, house sitting) for about 15-20 minutes. During meetups, in our home, you can see where your pup(s) will be staying and let them explore a bit so they are familiar with our home before their stay. This is a great time to go over their needs & any questions you may have. We typically have other Rover guests staying in our home during meetup times. We have our current guests play outside during our meet and greet time inside the home. We will trade places with them during our house tour so you and your dog(s) will be able to check out our backyard space as well (pending weather). We do not allow our current Rover stays/pets to meet with new clients during the meet and greets for safety reasons. You may book a daycare day on our upcoming calendar to see how our process works before your longer booking takes place if you'd like. After dropping your pet off for their stay with us, we will introduce them to our other Rover stays as well as our pets one at a time. This keeps the environment calm and controlled so everyone has the best experience meeting one another for the first time. Dogs must be at ease when meeting off-leash. We will get videos & photos to you shortly after you leave to share how much fun they are having with their new fur friends! DROP-OFFS/PICK-UPS: Our drop-off and pick-up times are anytime between 8 am-9 pm. For drop-offs/pick-ups, we ask that you park in our driveway and send a message upon arrival. We will come out and help unload their belongings (food bins, bags, blankets, etc). Once you leave we bring your dog(s) to the backyard area first to sniff and use the potty. Then we bring them inside to meet the other fur friends one at a time. Gary and I have a lot of experience introducing dogs to the 'pack' to make sure it goes smoothly and they can get to know each other right away. BATH ADD-ON: If you would like your pup to come home squeaky clean after their fun doggie vacay at our house, you can add on a bath for them before pickup! Bath time would include an all-over warm water rinse in our stand-up shower followed by a scrub. Then we'll towel/blow dry them off as well as a good brush and get them ready to head home. **Please note, we do not offer full grooming - haircuts, clippings, styling.** we can offer nail clippings as well. Im currently working part time from home so I’ll have lots of time to take care of your companion. My partner gary is at home full time with the pets as well. We try to keep most pets schedules the same as they have at home. I have a fenced in back yard that is huge, great to get all the zoomies out! I also own a 4lbs Maltese who is 2 years old, she is super friendly. Dogs can go on couches or sleep on the bed. If they have special requirements or need to be crated that can be accommodated. I have multiple rooms in the house as well to ensure a comfortable stay.

“Ben is a highly caring and considerate individual who went above and beyond while caring for my dog, Roary. Roary requires insulin injections multiple times per day, which he requested to come over and have a full review on as well as practice prior to my departure to ensure the injections would go as smoothly as possible. His keenness and attention to this detail eased my fears greatly related to this part of her care. While I was gone, he sent me pictures of their adventures. Roary was certainly on a vacation too! Additionally, my house was tidy and clean upon my return. All correspondence with Ben was punctual and timely. Highly recommend Ben! He’s one of a kind wonderful!”
