About: I was lucky enough to grow up in a household with all types of childhood companions. From a very young age I was learning the responsibilities of caring for young puppies, dogs, cats, bunnies, and even guinea pigs to name a few. Today, that passion has grown into a deep commitment to providing thoughtful, reliable, and loving care for every pet I meet. Whether your pet is playful and outgoing or shy and slow to warm up, I take the time to connect with them at their own pace. I believe in treating all animals with patience, kindness, and respect just like family. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. I follow routines closely, give plenty of attention and affection, and make sure they feel loved while you're away. I also provide regular updates, so you can relax knowing your pet is in caring hands with me! I currently have a full time job as an Early Childhood Educator. With that being said I only have a 4 day work week which allows me to have lots of spare time throughout the weekend and Mondays. I often keep my weekends pretty quiet which allows for a lot of flexibility. I would also be open to week day walks/drop ins depending on the time needed! I would prefer to meet your pet before the first official booking to better understand their personality, routine and any special needs they may have. Together we could create a personalized pet care routine that meets the unique needs of your furry friend! For a drop in visit I would also ensure to respect your home by keeping your pet secure, and making sure the environment is safe and tidy before my departure.

About: I am a huge lover of animals, and I’d love to take care of yours! I have a lot of experience with animals; I grew up in the country where we had lots of dogs, cats and cows. I’ve volunteered around the world to tend for exotic animals prior to their release. In addition, I’ve volunteered with parrots at the sanctuary in Carleton Place. While I’d love to get my own dog or cat for my place, I’d like to save up for their care beforehand. Whatever your pet needs from medications, extra long walks or a special diet, I am happy to work with them. I’m excited to meet you and your furry friend soon! I work full time at FreshCo in Carleton Place. It is a half hour drive but my boyfriend and roommate are typically home during different hours if you’re comfortable with them letting the dogs out etc. I’ve added my schedule below. My schedule: Sun 12-8 Mon 9-4 Tues 10-5 Wed 12-9 (can be adjusted to 3-9 if a dog is staying with us) Thurs 10-5 I have a clean recently purchased condo townhome. I have a small fenced in backyard and lots of areas and trails to walk pets. I have most necessities for animals such as pet food bowls, toys, litter boxes etc. Our home is very sound proof so if your dog is particularly loud that’s okay.

“Katie is the most reliable, most trustworthy dog lover I have ever had since I got rover years ago. My dog has leash anxiety and freaks out about the strangest things. Katie deals with that no problem, her loving and calm demeanor is exactly what my pup needs. And now Pippi waits for her daily walkie with Katie at the door in anticipation. She takes her for longer walks on days the dog is full of beans and will play with her in the yard on days its too hot or rainy. Katie is there for the dog and always treats my baby with love. Katie is THE ONE.”

“Megan was on time and took Billy for a fun walk! He immediately liked her and even cried a little when she left.”

“Nicole and Eddie were great, I needed someone to walk my dogs when I went into labour, they were very flexible with planning and quick to respond when I needed them last minute. They were on time for all walks, and our dogs seemed to have a great time!”

“Kaela was quick to respond to my request, she was also very friendly and prompt!(even though I needed her to walk Zeus at 5:30 am ?) I would highly recommend Kaela ?”

About: Hi there! I’ve had a deep love for animals—especially dogs—for as long as I can remember. I grew up with dogs and have natural connections with them. Though I haven’t had the chance to own a pet as an adult, I’ve never missed an opportunity to care for the pets of friends and family whenever I could. Whether it’s feeding cats while friends are away or taking my cousin’s dog out for a long walk, I truly enjoy spending time with them and giving them the love and attention they deserve. I understand that every pet has their own personality and needs, and I take the time to get to know them and make them feel safe and cared for. I’m currently working from home and my schedule is flexible so I can provide drop-in visits or walk your dogs almost any time you need. When caring for pets in their own home, I prioritize routine and familiarity to keep them comfortable. I stick closely to the pet’s usual schedule for feeding, walking, and play. I always double-check that doors are locked, water bowls are full, and any instructions are followed carefully — including medication, crate use, or special behaviors. I treat each client’s home with total respect, keeping things tidy and communicating updates regularly so they feel confident and informed.

About: Hello! I have over 18 years of experience in cat sitting. I had two cats during high school that I looked after and for a few years after that. I then moved out and after begging my parents for a dog for a long time, my partner and I decided to get one. We have one terrier mix who is almost 9. About 12 years ago I babysat for a family, which soon turned into looking after their family dog when they went on vacation. I did that for about a year then we moved. At this point I have several past clients who can provide references for me. I work a full time job but work from home so this allows me flexibility for dog walking during the daytime still and doing house visits. The longest I have cared for a families pet is two weeks, so I can do long term sitting if required. Please message me if interested and I look forward to hearing about your fur pets! I work full time and have two kids. I can pet sit in the mornings, midday on my lunch, and once in the evening. On Sunday’s I am always fully available and Saturdays I work so it’s the same schedule as weekdays. I will follow any instructions provided and crate as required only. I prefer clients with fenced in yards but if not possible than it would be a walk visit.

About: Joelhyn has been a dog walker and dog sitter since she was about 14 or 15 years old. She started by babysitting and those families entrusted her with their pets while the family was away, to care for and clean their dogs and cats. She also walked dogs for some of the older neighbours in the area who couldn’t do it themselves anymore. Shes taken many different kinds of dogs on walks, given them baths, fed them to specific instructions and played with them till the sun went down! Kyle has owned pets his whole life, always having two dogs in the house as well as two cats and various types of reptiles or rodents throughout the household too, so specific instructions for pets is not uncommon for him. He loves to play with any type of pet & loves to go on walks with them. Joelhyn is currently working and in school both part time but would love to spend her spare days with your lovely furry friends! Kyle is in school part time as well & we both own vehicles so getting around is no problem for us! One of us should always be available to care for your pets! Bigger dogs will almost always go to Kyle but he loves the smaller pets too! Assuring doors or gates are closed before bringing animals outside & always ensuring collars and leashes are on before going outside and before leaving a clients home. Walking dogs in a safe area and making sure to give them lots of time to walk or run as well as bringing poop bags to properly dispose of later on. We would love to do a meet and greet so you feel comfortable with us & get to know your pet!

About: Hello! I currently have an old gal at home named Tilly, she's an 8 year old Boxer Staffy who may have a tough bark, but is the sweetest girl! She's had plenty of visitors in her life time, and is always looking for new friends! You shall have no worries about your pet(s) with her or I around, she loves going on walks, playing fetch and is a HUGE lover of the water! I have cared for and owned many pets in my life time, not only dogs, and if I could have an at home sanctuary I would, but I'm not sure my partner would let me just yet! I look forward to caring for your pet(s) and making new friends! I am currently on month 2 of my maternity leave, I had my son in late October of 2024, so I have had a lot of free time on my hands, and adding some excitement with pets is just up my alley!
