About: I genuinely get more excited to meet animals than most people. I’ve been an animal lover for as long as I can remember. I grew up around pets, and if there’s an animal nearby, chances are I’ve already gone over to say hello. My friends are convinced I’ll eventually end up running a small zoo… and honestly, they’re probably not wrong. My experience goes far beyond just dogs and cats. I’ve grown up around animals my entire life and have cared for everything from fish, reptiles, and hamsters to dogs and cats of all ages and personalities. I’ve also fostered and rescued animals over the years, including a litter of abandoned kittens that needed around the clock bottle feeding and care. I’ve taken classes on anxious and reactive dogs, have a soft spot for senior pets, and tailor my care to each animal’s unique needs. They’ll get lots of love, attention, routine, enrichment, and photo updates. Safe to say they may enjoy their vacation with me more than you enjoy yours! I live near Edmonton International Airport and have a very flexible schedule, allowing me to spend plenty of time with the pets in my care. I’m frequently driving between Leduc, Edmonton, and surrounding areas, making me flexible and reliable for pet care. When appropriate, my partner joins me, giving your pet an extra set of caring hands. As someone pursuing nursing, I've developed strong attention to detail, responsibility, and a caring approach that carries over into pet care. I'm attentive, reliable, comfortable administering medications, and committed to following routines and instructions to help pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I’m Pet CPR trained, and have had many pets with different personalities and needs. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, feeding schedule, medications, and any special instructions to help them feel comfortable and stress free. I provide plenty of supervision, exercise, affection, and regular updates so you can feel confident they’re in good hands. I believe in treating every pet as if they were my own and creating a safe, loving environment. I currently have a cat, named pumpkin and I have a dog named Mazie who suffers with severe anxiety. Although it’s a challenge, my dog Mazie has taught me a lot about patience, consistency, and animal behavior. Through training classes and working with her specific needs, I’ve gained experience supporting pets who need extra care.

About: I’ve taken care of pets since I started high school. Friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed, bathe, and play with their pets and make sure they are well taken care of! I have a senior dog currently so he needs a lot of attention and daily activity. I do my best to make him feel happy, healthy and cared for :) Usually I do drop-ins but I do in house sitting as long as it is within my preferred area! I make sure pets are comfortable and happy in their space while also playing and taking care of them.

About: Hi! My name is Sam 🙋‍♀️I've had cats, days old bottle fed rescue kittens and multiple kittens litters, gerbils, and even a chinchilla growing up. Now I have a 9 year old 80lb American Bully, Odin, and almost 7 year old cat, Mittens. I also am currently doing daily potty breaks for two puppies, one being a senior dog for a couple who live in my parents neighborhood. My dog Odin is very high anxiety with many allergies and a skin condition. So I can understand the stress of making sure you are leaving your family members in the right care. I am highly compassionate and live by taking care and supporting people, animals and things that can be seen as vunerable or easily taken advantage of. I took a step back from my full-time job to be able to help my mom with some complicated medical issues she is dealing with. After working with these two puppies during the day and my love for my animals, I thought this may be the perfect opportunity to turn a hobby (animal loving) into a more full time job. Me, as a person, am very responsible, respectful, easy going, quiet, and empathetic. I have many hobbies like gardening, skiing, painting, camping, baking and golfing. My family of 2 step boys and Fiancé are all active and enjoy being outside. I am a certified nail technician aswell but mostly only do family and friends. I am currently helping my mom with general home care taking and errands. The hours a very flexible so I am able to work about your schedule! I love to go on walks so if allowed I could take them out for an evening walk or car ride. Play games in the backyard. Watch a movie together and cuddle up. Give them their favorite approved treats and tell them how much of a good boy they are haha

About: I have Vet Tech, dog and cat training, grooming and pet CPR certifications. I will love and look after your pet as my own. I’m trying to start my own business with dog boarding in a couple years and hoping to find some really great clients! I do own 2 dogs of my own. A pure breed black pug and a Pug/Frenchie. I’m looking into starting my career in the boarding and daycare business. I am currently the owner of Flossoraptor Cleaning Services and am mostly home just doing office work. My goal is to get enough clientele in my pet front so that I will be able to go full time into the pet business!! I also do training on the side...depending on the time I have on my hands during that week. I look forward to meeting with you and your fur babies! I own a residential/commercial cleaning company with a couple of employees so my day revolves around computer work, phone calls and puppy playtime inside and outside! I have a fully fenced large backyard which is safe for all sizes. Every pet is different with the how they are raised and cared for and we thrive to continue the care that you give your dog in our home.

About: Although I have only recently joined Rover, I have been around dogs my entire life and have experience caring for both puppies and seniors! My youngest pup is 3 years old and my oldest is 11 years old. My senior dog has a variety of health issues, so I am familiar with administering medications to keep your pups happy and healthy. My senior dog is also a bit more anxious, so I am fairly knowledgeable on making a nervous dog a bit more comfortable. Although I did not grow up with cats, I have lots of experience cat sitting for friends and am very comfortable playing and hanging out with them. I am here to make sure your furry friends feel all the love when you’re away at work or when life gets busy! I recently graduated from the University of Alberta and am working part-time as I settle into the post-grad life, so I have tons of time to check in on your furry friends! I am currently accepting bookings up to 1 day in advance. My schedule is very flexible and I am available every day of the week all day except 1pm-8pm Mondays and Thursdays. As of right now, I am only able to check in on pets in my clients’ homes. Check ins include playing with the pet, giving food/water, administering medications as instructed, going on walks, and cleaning litter boxes as needed. I may also bring some surprise treats depending on your dogs diet :)

About: I grew up with two dogs who I loved dearly. During the summer while I was in school I worked at a dog kennel caring for and walking dogs of all sizes. I am very reliable and will give your pet(s) the care and attention they need. I love the outdoors and look forward to playing outside and going on lots of walks. About: I have alot of love and affection to give to animals. I love to look after pets because it allows me to care for and love the pets while their owners are away. I have a large fenced yard where the animals can play and get their exercise in a secure area. I love to walk so walking dogs gives me the opportunity to get some exercise as well as make them happy. We had a beautiful husky of our own, but my oldest daughter took her when she moved out because her boyfriend had a dog, and I miss having animals in the house. I have fostered rescue dogs for 2 years now, and I have many references available from people that I have cared for their fur babies (both cats and dogs). I look forward to meeting you and your pets! I am available for daily drop in visits, weekly visits or longer stays. I also provide daily dog walking. I have no pets of my own in the house I have a big backyard where the pups can run around, and also close to dog parks and lots of walking trails. I have crates if your pet likes the comfort of a crate, and lots of toys. I have a large basement for cats if they like their own space

About: I have lifelong experience with dogs as I grew up having one. I have cats as well as an adult. I have also fostered many different animals over the recent years. I would love to take care of your fur baby. I only work part time and my kids are in school so I have plenty of time to play and care for your fur babies. About: I am fortunate to have a flexible schedule that allows me to be available to you and your pet on short notice. Not only is my schedule accommodating, so is my home and my pet education. Over the past 14ys, I have been closely involved with many different animal orientated facilities. My personal pup was certified with The Chimo Project which is now called CAAWLS. This organization recruits and certifies wellness animals for Animal Assisted Intervention (AAI) services. Involvement with this company was both rewarding for my pup and myself. I also volunteer my time with Dogs With Wings (DWW). A non-profit organization that does amazing things. DWW is changing lives for the better by training dogs to be guide dogs, service dogs, autism dogs and more. Rest assured, your pet will be well loved and in good care during their stay with me.
