I selected Tricia based on her experience with foster animals (one of mine is a foster fail ;-)) so I knew she would have experience dealing with all kinds of behaviours especially coaxing dogs in a safe manner to come out of their shells. We did a meet and greet walk together switching leashes, giving trays and breaking the ice. She was wonderful dealing with the two shy boys as well as the overly excited one. By the end of a half hour one of my shy boys was letting her pet him and interacting with her completely on his own which is not normal. The other shy boy was showing interest and getting closer taking treats from her with ease but still unsure about pets. She was not in a hurry, gave more attention tot he dogs than to me, asked great questions, and overall was wonderful with them! I booked them for weekly walks with her due to her patience, understanding of dog body language, and her ease of coaxing them in a safe and healthy manner. The hope for the two shy boys is to come out of their shell a bit more and for the excited one to burn some energy.
