Hello, I am an avid animal lover, our family has 3 cats and 3 Doodles and they are a huge part of our family. The doodles are all very social and friendly. I have had pets since I was a child. I will treat your fur baby as my own with the utmost love and respect. Pets have full roam of my house and are welcome on the furniture (if that's allowed). I do NOT kennel at all, our guests join our family in the house. I will respect all your rules for your pet while in my care as well. If you are looking for a loving place for your fur baby while u r away, look no further. I have 2 children aged 14 and 17 and they love animals as well. I also have experience with diabetic cats and giving insulin and testing blood sugar levels. I currently work full time Monday to Friday, away from home. My brother lives with me and works from home and my daughters are homeschooled so the dogs are never unattended. I am able to do daily drop in visits in early mornings and after 3 pm during the day. I am available on most weekends. I moved from Stony Plain in 2022, to an acreage so the dogs have more room to run. I have a large, secure, fenced portion of my yard that the dogs have access to all day. I live on the Sturgeon River and have a beautiful private hilled property that the dogs love exploring. They are never outside unattended. If you have a crate and your dog feels secure and safe in it then I am happy to have you send the crate for your pets stay.

This was Raven’s second stay with Shona, and once again, she went above and beyond! ❤️ We unexpectedly got caught in the flight strike, and our pickup was delayed much longer than planned. Shona was incredibly understanding, flexible, and accommodating throughout the whole situation, which gave us so much peace of mind. Raven was well cared for, happy, and clearly loved during his stay. Knowing he was in such great hands made a stressful travel situation so much easier. Thank you so much, Shona, for taking such amazing care of Raven. We truly appreciate everything you did, and we’ll definitely be back! 🐶💕
Shona does the best job of caring for our kitties! It is nice to have peace of mind and know our pets are in great hands while we are away. Highly recommend Shona for your petsitting needs. :-)

Shona was amazing with Henry. He enjoyed his time there with her dogs, and any other visitors she had at the time. She always kept us updated with photos and comments so we knew how he was doing. Henry came home a happy dog. I would leave him there again anytime!!

Shona was AWESOME!! She was so welcoming and relaxed! Benji had a great time! Usually when I leave him at the kennels he is so anxious and unsure about staying and also when I pick him up but here he was very excited to explore when we got there and was very calm and happy when I picked him up! I would 100x over recommend Shona and will definitely be leaving Benji with her again!!

Schedule
I currently work fulltime and I am usually home between 3:30 and 4 pm. I am available early mornings and after work for drop in visits. my brother lives with us and works from home and my daughters are homeschooled so the dogs are never unattended

Your pet will have free roam of the house but if you prefer them to be in their crate I can accommodate that as well

A typical day
As I live on an acreage, there is a lot of room to run and play. We go for walks on our 4 acre acreage which is treed and hilly. and we play a lot of fetch outside as my dogs LOVE it. I enjoy throwing a ball, frisbee or whatever their favorite toy is.
