About: I have been working for Edmonton humane Society for 4 years. Prior to that I have fostered many cats, kittens and rabbits. I live on a small acreage and own 2 dogs, 3 cats, 3 Rabbits, 2 tortoises, chickens and ducks. I have also volunteered for several animal rescues. I am comfortable with all cats, dogs, kittens, puppies, rabbits, chickens, ducks and reptiles. I am comfortable with giving medications, injections and other medical treatments. I am mostly available on Thursdays but also some Mondays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays as well as evenings. I am mainly looking for casual work. I will treat your animals with love and care. I have training in fear free animal interactions and am very experienced reading animal body language.

About: I have been working with animals for as long as I can remember. My mom and I fostered dogs when I was young and I started dog walking and pet sitting on my own around 10 years old. I have experience with senior dogs and puppies as well as administering medication. My own family dog was a pet therapy dog and I did the training to be a certified handler with her. I currently am in University and work part time but I set up my schedule to be able to check in between classes or in between school and work. I am very flexible and willing to accommodate whatever your pets needs are if that means multiple walks a day or playing in the yard. For walks I have experience working with leash pullers so that’s not an issue. I am used to having to provide care on a set schedule or a more flexible one as well.

About: Although I have only recently joined Rover, I have been around dogs my entire life and have experience caring for both puppies and seniors! My youngest pup is 3 years old and my oldest is 11 years old. My senior dog has a variety of health issues, so I am familiar with administering medications to keep your pups happy and healthy. My senior dog is also a bit more anxious, so I am fairly knowledgeable on making a nervous dog a bit more comfortable. Although I did not grow up with cats, I have lots of experience cat sitting for friends and am very comfortable playing and hanging out with them. I am here to make sure your furry friends feel all the love when you’re away at work or when life gets busy! I recently graduated from the University of Alberta and am working part-time as I settle into the post-grad life, so I have tons of time to check in on your furry friends! I am currently accepting bookings up to 1 day in advance. My schedule is very flexible and I am available every day of the week all day except 1pm-8pm Mondays and Thursdays. As of right now, I am only able to check in on pets in my clients’ homes. Check ins include playing with the pet, giving food/water, administering medications as instructed, going on walks, and cleaning litter boxes as needed. My career requires me to complete regular criminal record checks. I currently work full time days during the week. My evenings and weekends are typically free. About: I have loved dogs my entire life and although I am not currently able to have my own pet because of frequent travel, I love being able to dog-sit for others! About: I've been fortunate enough to care for many different animals since I was 12 years old. I've been blessed enough to experience growing up with cats, dogs, peacocks, rabbits, chickens, buggie and many more beautiful and equally unique animals. I'm addition, neighbours, friends and family have relied on me many times to pet sit, walk, feed, and bathe their pets. I'm currently homeschooling my grade 2 kid which usually only takes up 20 to 30 minutes of our day so I have plenty of time to play with and care for your furry or feathered babies. I have fenced yard and a very friendly cat and dog to keep your fur or feathered babies company. Both are very accustomed to growing up around different species of animals we've sat or fostered. My cat has a very large catio he loves to sit in during the day and usually perches himself on his cat castle by the window inside the house for naps or people watching (his favorite thing to do). He loves other animals and is very affectionate and protective towards them, he's a very docile breed and way too friendly for his own good. I do have a crate for dog and spare rooms for cats if a slower introduction is needed. My home is pretty pet friendly and clean and everybody in here will never be short of love, food and affection.

About: My name is Caitlin I am 27 years old and I have been in the animal industry since I was 16 years old. I have experience with dogs of all ages and breeds, cats and caged animals. I do not take care of spiders or snakes. I have worked in various Doggy Daycares and Dog boarding along with pet sitting in my home for various companies in and around Calgary. I am very active person that does not stay home any day of the week. I am constantly with my dog and kids which includes going to the river, dog park and various walks in the parks. We have a fenced in yard but live on acreage so my pets have a lot of area to run and play but also no chance of them getting lost because they also are trained. I make sure there are no dangerous areas around my home from sharp corners to things on the ground. My dogs constantly have water but are on a strict eating schedule. My cats are fed at all times and also have water at all times. My dogs and cats usually have a goo rotation when it comes to toys I get them ones that won’t harm them if they rip them apart, but if they do I will buy them a new one. I’d say there pretty spoiled animals but when you love them doesn’t seem like work at all.
