About: I have looked after dogs for friends and family for many years. As all dogs are different, I would prefer to schedule a complimentary in person meet to ensure your dog views me as a safe friend for future paid visits. Available most days and weekends (mornings, afternoons, and evenings) 2-3 days notice preferred to ensure I am available to meet your and your pet's needs Check in includes driving time, tasks may include changing water, feeding, medication administration, play time as time is available. I prefer to arrange a meet & greet and have written instructions so we have clear communication and expectations

About: Although I have only recently joined Rover, I have been around dogs my entire life and have experience caring for both puppies and seniors! My youngest pup is 3 years old and my oldest is 11 years old. My senior dog has a variety of health issues, so I am familiar with administering medications to keep your pups happy and healthy. My senior dog is also a bit more anxious, so I am fairly knowledgeable on making a nervous dog a bit more comfortable. Although I did not grow up with cats, I have lots of experience cat sitting for friends and am very comfortable playing and hanging out with them. I am here to make sure your furry friends feel all the love when you’re away at work or when life gets busy! I recently graduated from the University of Alberta and am working part-time as I settle into the post-grad life, so I have tons of time to check in on your furry friends! I am currently accepting bookings up to 1 day in advance. My schedule is very flexible and I am available every day of the week all day except 1pm-8pm Mondays and Thursdays. As of right now, I am only able to check in on pets in my clients’ homes. Check ins include playing with the pet, giving food/water, administering medications as instructed, going on walks, and cleaning litter boxes as needed. I may also bring some surprise treats depending on your dogs diet :)

About: I work from home and have two mini poodles that are my shadows. I also grew up around dogs my entire life. I enjoy dog sitting and getting to know other dogs and their personalities. I currently work from home and have my two little furry sidekicks with me throughout the day, so your dog will have plenty of company and supervision. My dogs are doted on and yours will be too! I have a fully fenced backyard and two mini poodles who love to keep visiting dogs entertained and socialized. Your dog will be treated like part of the family while they’re here. I also have two teens that absolutely adore dogs. Dogs are welcome on the furniture, including couches and beds, just like my own. I do not use crates unless requested by the owner or if it’s part of your dog’s regular routine. I aim to provide a safe, comfortable, and home-like environment where your dog can relax and feel right at home.

About: I got my first pet when I was 2 years old and have loved animals ever since. We currently have 2 dogs, a tortoise, some goldfish and a new family of farm kitties. My ideal world would be playing with animals all day lol I work in a casual position in healthcare, usually no more than part time hours weekly so I have lots of time and flexibility to work with your schedules and take care of your fur babies. We have a big open basement and kennels for sleeping. Lots of running space outside in the yard. Yard is not currently fenced but have long leashes to allow lots of running room nonetheless. 2 outdoor dog houses and lots of shade as well.

About: Loving family of four. Mom (38), Dad (39), Daughter (11) and Son (3) who have a Yorkie (6) and Cat (11) looking to love your pet while your away. Although everyone would love your pet, the primary responsibility would be to daughter (11) who recently completed her Pet Sitting Course with the Edmonton Humane Society. She is looking forward to gaining experience. We can work with your schedule. Mom and Dad work Monday through Wednesday from about 8am-430pm. Mom works from Home Thursday and Friday and can be home on weekends. Can work with your overall needs. We have a fully fenced large yard and large home. We can either crate your animal or work with you on alternate options.

About: Having owned two wonderful dogs in my life and been a special friend & "aunt" of several other dogs and some cats. I am highly experienced and motivated to help you care for your beloved furry family members. I am warm, friendly and calm around animals and I find they are naturally drawn to me. I am trained in reiki and use gental reiki energy to balance and relax your pets in your absence. I do contract work and I am writing a book, so my time is flexible and I am available to spend quality time with your pets. As a sitter who would be in your home, caring for your pets, I would be able to follow your established schedule in order to cause the least distress and or disruption for your pets.

About: I have had animals in my life for as long as I can remember. So you could say that pet care has come second nature to me. From feeding to medication I am your girl! Full disclosure, I do have two part time jobs and am hoping to work this into my free time! If you are looking for someone who is available 24/7 I may not be the best fit. Though I am willing to accommodate! I am very attentive, willing to cater to any needs you and your pet may have! I am open to staying over night as needed.

About: I have loved dogs my entire life and although I am not currently able to have my own pet because of frequent travel, I love being able to dog-sit for others! I will cuddle, feed, walk, and love your dog as if they are my own. I am a full time stay at home empty nester, and I am very experienced with dogs. I had my own two miniature poodles throughout my life up until they passed . I love dogs and often look after my grandogs who live in different cities. I also have looked after my neighbours dogs. About: I’ve had experience caring for cats since I was 10 years old. feeding, grooming, cleaning litter boxes, and giving them daily attention and playtime. I’m very comfortable around cats and Dogs and understand the importance of patience and consistency with them. I also cared for my ex-partner’s dog and her grandparents’ dog for about 2 years. My responsibilities included feeding, walking, basic grooming, playtime, companionship, and making sure they stayed on their regular routines. Through this experience, I became comfortable handling dogs with different personalities and energy levels. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away. I’m currently working part time at California pizza kitchen as a server. I also go to NAIT for accounting. I’m taking two classes this spring so it shouldn’t take up much time of my schedule. I also take guitar lessons regularly but it’s 30 mins a day so it’s not an issue I always prioritize the pet’s safety, comfort, and routine. In a client’s home, I make sure pets have fresh water, are fed on schedule, get enough exercise/playtime, and receive lots of attention and companionship. I also keep the home clean and follow any instructions carefully, including medications, walking routines, and house rules. I pay close attention to pets’ behavior and body language to make sure they are comfortable and stress-free. During walks, I stay alert to surroundings, keep dogs securely leashed, and avoid unsafe situations or interactions with unfamiliar animals if needed.

I have experience with rescue animals and senior animals as well. I’m currently working a full time job from 8am-4pm four days a week! About: My name is Caitlin I am 27 years old and I have been in the animal industry since I was 16 years old. I have experience with dogs of all ages and breeds, cats and caged animals. I do not take care of spiders or snakes. I have worked in various Doggy Daycares and Dog boarding along with pet sitting in my home for various companies in and around Calgary. I have my Pet First Aid and in the middle of getting my Dog Training Certificate. I have taught a 4 year old 60lb Shepherd not to pull - it isn’t easy but it is doable! I volunteered in a vet clinic and have knowledge administering medication orally and through injection I have 1 dog ; Jasper is a Border Collie x Havanese that is 10 years old and a retired service dog. I have trained Jasper to be my husbands service dog for his Type 1 Diabetes, using my own techniques following Karen Pryor methods, I do not agree with Cesar Milan and will not use his techniques. I am very active person that does not stay home any day of the week. I am constantly with my dog and kids which includes going to the river, dog park and various walks in the parks. I am available everyday of the week, my dog(s) are never left alone longer than an hour and most times come with me for a safe car ride! I am excited to chat with you about your pup! I love to talk about dogs ❤️ I’m currently a stay at home mother with my 3 year old son and my 16 month old daughter, I have plenty of time throughout the day to care for all your pets needs as I always in cooperate the pets into my schedule around my children. All animals are family to me, they are my fur babies and will always give above excellent care. They will not be left outside unattended ever and I will spend every minute with them.
