About: I've had dogs for the last 20 years, usually with four in the house at a time. We've had a Shih-tzu, three Jack-Shih-tzus, a Great Pyrenees, and now a solo Maltie-Poo named Dozer. Every dog I meet is a new friend, and I have to admit that I knew the names of all the dogs in my last neighborhood, and like maybe three of the owners names. Happy to walk active dogs that need long walks. For doggy day care and boarding we have to restrict it to small dogs because our own small dog is picky about which larger dogs he likes. Other animals: I've also taken care of farm animals. Dairy cows and calves, and feeding chickens and putting them in for the night. I've kept both freshwater and marine tanks and can check up on your fish or your reef while you're away. No worrying about your niece or nephew dumping a whole container of bug bites into the tank while you're gone and causing an ammonia spike. I've also kept constrictors and colubrids (but not currently), crested geckos, and dart frogs, and am familiar with the husbandry of each. I have a flexible schedule and am in between writing contracts at the moment so have lots of time available for scheduling check-ins and walks for local puppers. I can check-on and feed pets as needed, dispense necessary meds, walk them from your home, or load them in the car and take them to the Cataraqui Trail for longer walks / more active dogs.

About: I am a young professional looking for a fun way to engage with some pets as I am unable at this time to have my own. As my full time job keeps me at a desk indoors, this will be great for me, as well as the pups, to burn off some energy! I have grown up with pets my whole life, raising and training puppies specifically (labs and golden retrievers mainly). I don't shy away from mischievous little ones or big energetic dogs. About: I have several years of professional and independent pet care experience, including dog daycare, pet retail, dog walking, drop-ins, house sitting, overnight care and extended stays. I currently work from home, which gives me flexibility for pets who benefit from having someone around throughout the day, and I’m especially interested in building relationships with regular clients. I previously worked in dog daycare where I cared for groups of up to 75 dogs of all ages, sizes and temperaments. My professional daycare experience has made me very comfortable reading animal body language, recognizing stress or changes in behaviour and safely managing pets with very different temperaments. I’m also comfortable administering medications and caring for pets with more specific routines or needs. When house sitting or staying overnight, I’m very respectful of my client’s home and make sure everything is cared for while they’re away, not just their pet!

About: Your pet will enjoy 3 walks a day and open access to our 10 acre hobby farm just on the outskirts of kemptville (just a few minutes from the 416 for easy drop off and pick up ). Most Saturdays guests will Also enjoy a walk on the historic town of merreckville. Everyone in our household loves spending time with dogs, so rest assured while you are away your pet will receive our full attention . Both my husband and I are retired and are able to spend quality time with your pet every day. Starting with a morning walk on the property(dogs leashed at all times). We have several trail systems in our area to also provide afternoon walks We gave 40 years of experience with our own dogs and also taking care of family dogs when required. When we walk our dogs are always leashed . Visiting dogs are free to lounge on the back deck or lawns and will always be tethered
