We have experience with a wide range of personalities, including anxious dogs, energetic dogs, and those who need a little extra structure or reassurance. We’re trained in dog leadership techniques that help dogs feel secure, confident, and part of the pack, along with advanced obedience experience for more challenging behaviours. But beyond the training side, we simply love spending time with dogs. Long walks, playtime, cuddles, enrichment, and making them feel at home are the heart of what we do. Our goal is for you to leave feeling confident your dog is genuinely cared for, understood, and loved while you are away. We work regular weekdays 8-4. I work from home 2 days a week, which I can usually schedule to be home as much as possible while your dog is with us. When in the office, your dog will be lounging in our comfortable home from 7am-4pm. We have no current pets and only take one family at a time, so your dog(s) will have plenty of individualized attention and avoid the stress of other personalities. Our large property is not fenced, so we will always personally walk your dog around the property. This helps create a trust bond quickly with your dog, and means that your dog will never be left unsupervised in a yard. We love to send you pics throughout the visit!

About: Long-time dog lover, first-time dog owner! But don't let that dissuade you. My experience with my dog started off as a big challenge (and I continue to work with him everyday!). I've learned a LOT about handling a strong dog- and I'm constantly rewarded with cuddles! I'd love to care for your dog as I do my own. If our dogs get along, I'm happy to facilitate joint walks (and off-leash if your dog is good with that), or play dates when I am taking care of your pup. Of course, we would make sure this is okay with all parties involved! I use tools with my dog, so if your dog is used to a slip lead, long line, prong collar, or eCollar, I have loads of experience with my dog and these things. I am self-employed and work from home. I set my own schedule, so I have flexibility in when I can care for your dog. Since I am out with my dog a couple of times per day, I can arrange to take our dogs out together (if everyone is okay with that!) My home is too small to accommodate more than my dog (I live in a tiny home!), so all care would have to happen at your house. About: I am Pet First Aid certified and certified through Fear Free’s Shelter Program and Boarding & Daycare Program, which trained me to recognize fear, anxiety, stress signals, arousal levels, body language, and environmental triggers. I grew up in a dog friendly family and spent 12 years caring for my family dog, including her current senior stage care. My Life Sciences and Biomedical Science background also makes me detail-oriented and observant with changes in behaviour, comfort, and well-being. I have full G license with my own vehicle. For dog walking, I focus on safety, consistency, and calm handling. Before each walk, I confirm the dog’s routine, leash or harness setup, energy level, triggers, and any special instructions. I also apply what I learned from Fear Free shelter and boarding/daycare training by paying close attention to body language, fear-anxiety-stress signals, arousal level, thresholds, and environmental triggers. I check that equipment is secure, choose safe routes, avoid unnecessary dog to dog interactions, and adjust the pace to the dog’s comfort level. About: After years of fostering rescue dogs, we’re experienced at creating a calm, loving home where dogs can relax, play, and feel genuinely safe. We have experience with a wide range of personalities, including anxious dogs, energetic dogs, and those who need a little extra structure or reassurance. We’re trained in dog leadership techniques that help dogs feel secure, confident, and part of the pack, along with advanced obedience experience for more challenging behaviours. But beyond the training side, we simply love spending time with dogs. Long walks, playtime, cuddles, enrichment, and making them feel at home are the heart of what we do. Our goal is for you to leave feeling confident your dog is genuinely cared for, understood, and loved while you are away. We work regular weekdays 8-4. I work from home 2 days a week, which I can usually schedule to be home as much as possible while your dog is with us. When in the office, your dog will be lounging in our comfortable home from 7am-4pm. We have no current pets and only take one family at a time, so your dog(s) will have plenty of individualized attention and avoid the stress of other personalities. Our large property is not fenced, so we will always personally walk your dog around the property. This helps create a trust bond quickly with your dog, and means that your dog will never be left unsupervised in a yard. We love to send you pics throughout the visit!

Most Saturdays guests will Also enjoy a walk on the historic town of merreckville. About: I have owned and cared for animals my entire life. Experienced in animal rescues, caring for sick/injured wildlife/pets, and current dog mom. I specialize in several areas including small mammals. (Guinea pigs, hamsters, rabbits, and even squirrels lol). I have my own fur baby, Charlie.
