Although we couldn’t bring them with us when we moved to Canada, they are in great hands with our family. My husband and I are here to provide love and care to your furry companions as to our own. About: I'm a lifelong dog lover from the UK currently traveling around Canada. I’ve had dogs in my home all my life and have spent the last 7 years dog sitting for a wide range of breeds from energetic dogs who need long, adventurous walks, to older dogs who just enjoy a gentle stroll and relaxing in the park. I’ve also trained my own dog and a friends so I’m comfortable reinforcing commands. Being around dogs is something i miss while traveling, so I’d love the chance to help care for yours as if they were my own. I’m not working so I will be able to follow any routine the dog or animal has. I love to go on long walks so will happily take the dog out for as long as you recommend I am constantly aware of the animals in my care and keep an eye on them whether it’s in the garden at the park or in the house. About: Experience with reactive and medically complex dogs of all ages. Have lived with dogs aged 7 weeks up to 16 years. Experience with nose work, agility, and obedience training. I am currently working as a remote consultant and am able to fully control my schedule! I typically get out with pups first thing in the morning for a larger walk/outing, but this depends on the dog and their needs. Your dog will be the only animal in the home while they are cared for. I am happy to accommodate any communication needs you have to help you feel comfortable (3 pics a day, no problem!) Or any other specific needs that are communicated ahead of time.

About: Dogs and horses have been a huge part of my life. We live an active lifestyle and my animals come everywhere with me. I have a flexible career that I can take my guys with me, lots of socializing (with other dogs), hiking in the forest (across from my property) and an off leash dog beach within minutes. My current dog is very submissive and loves companionship. We just recently lost our older dog at 15 and she’s looking to have company to adventure with. We’ve been fostering puppies through endless pawsibilities and thoroughly enjoy the training aspect as well. We’ve successfully potty trained the last 3 fosters before finding them amazing homes. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to bring my dogs with me to work. In between meetings we do lots of walking and or running on the dykes, playing on farms (with other dogs) and heading to the dog beaches around the lower mainland. The care for your pet will depend on individual needs required. They can be crated at night, or free to roam. Happy to get up in the night to let them outside to pee and happy to tend to dietary restrictions. Your family member will be treated as one of our own.
