“Samantha has been walking our two dogs mid-day while we are at work. She communicates well + clearly takes great care of our dogs. It’s made a transition from remote work back to office life much easier for all of us! Would highly recommend to anyone looking for reliable dog care.”

“Melinda is so wonderful with my dogs! She always gives very thorough updates has been flexible to add last-minute walks. Highly recommend (even for not-the-best at walking pups!)”

“Susan is the best! She walked my dog for several months and was always there! Extremely reliable. Worked well with my dog who can be reactive to other dogs on walks. Cannot recommend her enough!”

“Abby and Ian are great as always! I have trouble with buzzing them in sometimes, but they’re always willing to wait. I feel great knowing my pup Kit is getting the attention he deserves while I’m away, and I think he loves seeing them as much as me!”

About: Over 12 years professionally caring for dogs, and I’ve owned them for 30 years. Professional dog groomer, nail care and light clipper clean ups available. I’m a professional pet groomer working to get my in-home grooming service going. In the meantime, I’m doing gig work, which means the most flexible schedule to make it work for you. Excellent at following instructions and communication. I believe in positive reinforcement training and responses to behavior. I’m extremely strong due to my job, and will have no problem handling any size dog with any behavior level. I am well versed in dog body language and psychology.

“Kyra Eli was great! He gave my pupper a nice long walk, gave him a little play time at home and made sure he had a treat before he left. 10/10 recommend - I will definitely book him again!”

About: Dogs and cats have always been at the heart of my family and so I would love to help people take care of their furry family members as well! I have wanted to be a veterinarian for most of my life and currently am in school studying Wildlife Ecology. I also volunteer at the Aquarium of the Pacific where I am furthering my knowledge about animals as well as helping to pursue my passion for conservation and the environment. Animals are the center of my social, educational and professional world and so I am so happy to help out other animal-loving families through Rover! My family has many animals and so when I wake up in the morning, the first think I do is feed the animals and take the dogs out to walk! I also end my day taking care of my pets. Fitting in walks, check-ins and house visits will fit very smoothly into my daily routine. In fact, the only times I limited availability for Rover are the times I volunteer regularly at the Aquarium of the Pacific. In the homes of my clients I will ensure that the animals feel as at home and comfortable as possible. Knowing that animals are deeply aware of the absence of their owners, I want to make sure I stick to the usual routine of my clients. The comfort of the animals is my top priority and so I will closely listen to and abide by the schedule of my client. I will also make sure the animals are receiving as much attention as they desire so as to remind them they are loved and haven't been left behind or alone.

“Hillary did an amazing job walking my shy pup and quickly won her over! In addition to being amazing with my dog, Hillary did and excellent job communicating with me about how my dog did on their walks, tactics she used to help build up my dog's confidence, and Hillary even helped clean up a potted plant that my dog had knocked over one day. I would highly recommend Hillary to anyone looking for care for their pets!”

About: Worked at Cherokee Kennels, in Fitchburg for 3 years, learned many new things about many different breeds of dogs. Love long walks, and giving the best love to pets! I currently work a full-time job, but am looking to add something fun on the side. I am gone about 10 hours daily for work, otherwise I am outside enjoying nature and going on walks and runs. I am open to sticking to your pets daily schedule as best as I can. Giving them the best love and care they deserve to have.

About: I have experience with every kind of dog! Puppies, senior dogs, I am also used to administering medication to dogs. I have been working as a k9 coach for the past year! I am super patient, kind, and understanding I have a super flexible schedule! I am very open to anything last minute. I can do multiple walks a day as well! I am also more than happy to just stay the whole day if house sitting! I would say my animals are so spoiled! I am very gentle. I am someone who believes that yelling at an animal won’t do anything. About: I grew up with several dogs, have fostered puppies as young as 8 weeks old. I’m experienced with giving fluids and medications, senior pet care, and making sure pets are clean and comfortable. My apartment is right along the Monona Bike Loop trail, which I often run/walk on with a nearby dog park. I also offer bathing or grooming for an additional fee. Your pet’s wellbeing and happiness always come first with me! I work primarily from home and have a flexible schedule, so I’m able to dedicate plenty of time and attention to the pets I watch. Whether it’s morning walks, midday play sessions, or evening snuggles, I make sure each pet feels like part of the family and gets the consistency they need. My days are organized around routines that prioritize their happiness and wellbeing. When caring for pets in my home, I provide a safe, cozy environment with plenty of toys, comfy spots to nap, and access to a secure yard (if you have one). I follow each pet’s individual feeding, medication, and exercise schedule, and send regular photo updates so you can see how your pet is doing. If I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I do my best to stick to their established routines. I make sure to follow your instructions for feeding, walks, playtime, and any special care your pet needs. I also keep your home tidy and respect your space as if it were my own.

“Thoughtful and attentive to our two dogs and their unique needs!”

Ellena A.
“Has taken care of my australian cattle dog and very needy cat a lot. My dog had reactivity issues so can't interact with every dog but she was able to help him be comfortable enough to meet a few more new ones, even without me there eventually. He also needs at least two walks a day and she was always happy to do that or more.”
