About: Over 12 years professionally caring for dogs, and I’ve owned them for 30 years. Professional dog groomer, nail care and light clipper clean ups available. I’m a professional pet groomer working to get my in-home grooming service going. In the meantime, I’m doing gig work, which means the most flexible schedule to make it work for you. Excellent at following instructions and communication. I believe in positive reinforcement training and responses to behavior. About: Dogs and cats have always been at the heart of my family and so I would love to help people take care of their furry family members as well! I have wanted to be a veterinarian for most of my life and currently am in school studying Wildlife Ecology. I also volunteer at the Aquarium of the Pacific where I am furthering my knowledge about animals as well as helping to pursue my passion for conservation and the environment. Animals are the center of my social, educational and professional world and so I am so happy to help out other animal-loving families through Rover! My family has many animals and so when I wake up in the morning, the first think I do is feed the animals and take the dogs out to walk! I also end my day taking care of my pets. Fitting in walks, check-ins and house visits will fit very smoothly into my daily routine. In fact, the only times I limited availability for Rover are the times I volunteer regularly at the Aquarium of the Pacific. In the homes of my clients I will ensure that the animals feel as at home and comfortable as possible. Knowing that animals are deeply aware of the absence of their owners, I want to make sure I stick to the usual routine of my clients. The comfort of the animals is my top priority and so I will closely listen to and abide by the schedule of my client. I will also make sure the animals are receiving as much attention as they desire so as to remind them they are loved and haven't been left behind or alone.

About: Worked at Cherokee Kennels, in Fitchburg for 3 years, learned many new things about many different breeds of dogs. Love long walks, and giving the best love to pets! I currently work a full-time job, but am looking to add something fun on the side. I am gone about 10 hours daily for work, otherwise I am outside enjoying nature and going on walks and runs. About: I have experience with every kind of dog! Puppies, senior dogs, I am also used to administering medication to dogs. I have been working as a k9 coach for the past year! I am super patient, kind, and understanding I have a super flexible schedule! I am very open to anything last minute. I can do multiple walks a day as well! I am also more than happy to just stay the whole day if house sitting! I would say my animals are so spoiled! I am very gentle. I am someone who believes that yelling at an animal won’t do anything. So I would say I have a very gentle but effective approach.

About: I grew up with several dogs, have fostered puppies as young as 8 weeks old. I’m experienced with giving fluids and medications, senior pet care, and making sure pets are clean and comfortable. My apartment is right along the Monona Bike Loop trail, which I often run/walk on with a nearby dog park. I also offer bathing or grooming for an additional fee. My days are organized around routines that prioritize their happiness and wellbeing. When caring for pets in my home, I provide a safe, cozy environment with plenty of toys, comfy spots to nap, and access to a secure yard (if you have one). I follow each pet’s individual feeding, medication, and exercise schedule, and send regular photo updates so you can see how your pet is doing. If I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I do my best to stick to their established routines. I make sure to follow your instructions for feeding, walks, playtime, and any special care your pet needs. I also keep your home tidy and respect your space as if it were my own.
