About: I’ve taken care of pets of all shapes and sizes: fish, chickens, goats, horses, and of course cats and dogs! I started working with dogs and training them when I was 7 years old in county 4-H, and then when I was in high school I assisted with puppies for Guide Dogs for the Blind, where I helped raisers socialize young puppies from 10 weeks to 18 months before they went back for further training. I’ve helped family and friends raise puppies they can live with and love, and my own dogs have been the best part of my life. I’m a current graduate student at Embry-Riddle, and I’m reliable, safe, and experienced in animal care. I’d love to work with you and your fuzzy family members! I work early shifts, so I’m available most of the afternoon and Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. I love taking walks in the early morning, before it gets too hot and the sidewalk is still nice and comfortable. My favorite thing is letting the dog set the pace, and sniff to their heart’s content. I can visit most homes in Prescott and Prescott Valley during the workday if needed, and have flexibility for other events or longer trips if needed. I make sure to keep as close to the expected routine as possible whenever I pet sit. Everyone likes to know when they have to get up in the morning or when breakfast is coming, and your pets are no different. I’m comfortable working with dogs of varying personalities, and can understand when they might be more open to play or socialization, versus when they just need some calm and relaxation.

During Jesica’s first meet and greet, it was clear that Kira felt at ease with her, indicating they would be a great match for all involved. Jessica properly administered Kira’s medications during her 5-night stay in our home. Jessica not only took good care of Kira but also our home. Jessica also took the time to spend with Kira, allowing her to enjoy the outside in our backyard throughout the day. Finally, Jessica sent us daily photos of Kira with updates on her day. Kami stayed with the puppies in our house for 5 days so the dogs would be secure and safe in their normal environment. Tasha and Jake were happy when we got home, however they definitively seemed sad when Kami left. Kami will be our number one choice from now out. She's similar in cost to taking the pups to a kennel, however this way the puppies get to stay comfortable in their own home and there was someone at home to bring the Amazon packages into the house. I care for my farm animals on a daily but I am flexible to schedules. I can house sit on the weekends or the week days. I have raised my animals sense birth. They are my number one priority in my world. When I watch someone else animals, I act and care for them like they are my own.

About: I have 5 shepherds of my own, I ran a shepherd rescue, have worked with many training and rescue facilities in the valley, and have vet tech experience. I’m always happy to spend time with more pets I drive down in the valley every day to go to the gym, so any pets on the way are easy for me to swing by for a visit! Every pet has individual needs. Im happy to cuddle and pet some people’s pets for hours, but I’m also happy to respect some pet’s personal space and just be there to make sure all their needs are met.
