About: I’ve taken loving care of my own cats and dogs for many years, but after my dogs passed away I have been loving other people’s pets instead of getting my own. I’ve been caring for pets of friends, family, coworkers and additional clients through word of mouth. I’m excited to be giving Rover a try! I would be honored to be entrusted with the care of your furry family member! I have experience with young puppies, elderly dogs & those with special needs, such as epilepsy. I work full time (law enforcement), but am available to stay with your pet any day of the week! I generally work Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 4:30 PM. I may be able to come by for pet care over lunch if necessary; details would need to be worked out. Working in law enforcement, you can trust that I will treat your home and fur babies with responsibility, care and respect. I’ve had the pleasure of pet sitting for at least 10 clients in their home, allowing them to vacation with peace of mind, knowing their cat, dog, chickens, turtles or whatever other pet they have is being well cared for.

“Torie took great care of my doggies and my home! She is always so sweet and attentive with my pups, and she did a great job of checking in and giving me updates while I was out of town.”

“Greta was so well taken care of with Kamen! A great walker and even better sitter. She was so happy when we got home and can tell she was loved and cared for! Will absolutely book Kamen again for walks and out of town trips!”

“Jenny was amazing and put our minds at ease knowing our Luna was taken care of. She was recently adopted and still getting acclimated to our home when we had to suddenly leave town. She kept us updated and sent pictures!”

About: Hi there! I’m Citara – a single mom with a big heart for animals! I know how important it is to have someone you trust with your furry family members. Whether it’s daily walks, playtime, or cozy visits with your cat, I treat every pet like my own. Reliable, caring, and flexible – I’m here when you need me. Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine because I have flexible availability, especially during evenings and weekends. I currently work during the day part of the week, but I’m available most afternoons, evenings, and weekends for pet sitting or walking. I love being around animals, so spending time caring for pets is something I truly enjoy and make time for. It’s not just a side job—it’s something that brings me peace and purpose. I provide pet care in the comfort of the client’s home because I believe pets feel most safe and relaxed in their own environment. I follow all routines and instructions carefully—from feeding and walks to playtime and medications—so your pet’s day stays as normal as possible. I treat every home with respect and every pet with patience, love, and attention. Safety and trust are my top priorities, and I always make sure your pet is secure, happy, and well cared for while you're away.

About: I have been boarding pets and dog sitting for family and friends for over twenty years. We are all pet lovers here, so our home was quite literally designed with pets in mind. I have a big fenced in backyard, tons of dog and cat toys and tennis balls, and of course washable couch cushions and rugs everywhere because we know accidents happen 😂 My golden loves all dogs, and there’s nothing my kids like better than coming home to see a different pup or cat here. I previously worked at and volunteered at several shelters, and now just work remotely part time from home, after resigning as a Claims Specialist for the Social Security Administration HQ here in KCMO. I can administer medication, and my speciality is elderly dogs that need extra attention and/or dogs that don’t do well in typical boarding situation due to anxiety and/or destructive behaviors because here, they can have as much attention as they do (or don’t!) want. Neutering also is not as issue as mine all are. I currently work from home 20 hours a week medical billing and coding, my schedule is flexible and my children are both in daycare/elementary school and gone from approx 8-4. I have a fenced in large yard in a quiet neighborhood, so I walk dogs I watch/my dogs 1-2 times a day and let out any elderly dogs I am currently watching through the front door to avoid the deck steps. I feed my dogs twice a day, they drink filtered water and get denta sticks each day. I always bring dog treats on walks so reinforce good behavior. We consider our pets people here, so getting on furniture is allowed as well.

About: We’re a pet-loving home with 3 cats and 2 sweet senior dogs—all friendly, spayed/neutered, and great with guests! Your pet will feel right at home with plenty of love, snuggles, and playtime. I am available everyday, if I am boarding in my home I am available to come and go a lot. If boarding in your home I am available to stop by multiple times during the day/night. I have a fenced yard & two senior dogs who enjoy company. They’re still young at heart! 3 cats who are very social and enjoy new faces.

“Draven was fantastic. There was work being done outside the house that couldn’t be rescheduled and she was ok with taking the dog out front for a bit instead. She even kept me updated when there was a power outage after a storm ❤️”

About: Hi! I’m Ashley, I'm a lifelong dog lover who’s excited to help care for your pup. I work from home two days a week and offer loving, dependable care whether your dog needs companionship, walks, or just someone to check in while you’re away. I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes and personalities — from high-energy puppies to chill senior dogs — and I always take time to learn what makes each one happiest. Whether it’s belly rubs, structured walks, or cozy couch naps, I’ll match your dog’s vibe. I pride myself on keeping a calm, safe space with plenty of attention when I’m home. When I’m out, I make sure they’re secure, comfortable, and on their routine. I’m also happy to send regular updates and photos so you always know how your pup is doing! Let’s schedule a meet-and-greet — I’d love to connect and learn about your dog’s unique needs. I currently work from home two days a week, which allows for extra attention, potty breaks, and companionship during the day. On the other three in-office days, I’m available for early morning, evening, and overnight care depending on your needs. I’m also fully available on weekends, making me a great option for weekend getaways, dog walking, or extended care. No matter the schedule, I’ll always keep your pet's routine in mind and provide updates to give you peace of mind. Your pet’s safety is my top priority. I take every precaution to ensure they are secure, comfortable, and well cared for at all times. I never leave pets unattended in unsecured spaces — whether indoors, in a yard, or during walks. I always use leashes, double-check gates and doors, and follow any safety instructions or routines you provide. I treat every pet like they’re my own and respect the trust you place in me to care for them. You can count on me for reliable, attentive care and regular updates, so you always know your pet is in safe hands.

“Could not compliment Dakota enough! I will definitely be using her services again!”

About: Residing on a farm with open running space or enclosed electrical fencing for outside time, animals are sure to love their farm life experience. My husband and I have trained our own dogs to respond to basic commands: sit, shake, stay, come, and no. We have around 600 birds (chickens, guineas, ducks), 10 goats, and 2 Great Pyrenees girls (unaltered) that predominately reside outside. We also have 5 cats that are indoor outdoor and every other week our 16 and 10 y.o. boys are here to provide extra attention to animals visiting. We have also cared for animals at the end of life phase, moving at a slower pace and needing that extra assistance to get around. I currently work an 8 hour shift commuting to STL Monday-Friday. I work for the MO Army National Guard full-time, to include one weekend a month. My Husband’s full time job is taking care of the farm. He is predominately on farm, or not too far out if he is away. Caring for additional animals will fit like a glove into the animal schedule we currently operate on any given day. Caring for our own pets consist of daily feedings. There is always dry food out for all animals. The dogs and cats get wet food once a day, typically in the evening. The cats get attention when they want it. The dogs get released out of the fence a couple times a week to run the land under human supervision. They will also be let inside for short periods of time as we work on training them with inside manners, not to mention, one of the girls is terrified of thunder storms. Our animals are pampered with treats, attention, and full on conversations. They are more than animals around here, they’re family!

About: I have a wide range of experience with pet care, from pet sitting since I was a teenager to working in veterinary clinics and emergency care hospitals throughout high school and college. I am confident with dogs and cats of any size, breed, and age. Thanks to my experience in vet clinics, I am familiar with providing medication topically, orally, and nasally with both dogs and cats. On a personal note, I have cared for my own geriatric pets - my childhood golden retriever and several senior kitties. Pets that require dedicated care and frequent medical attention hold a special place in my heart. I have raised puppies and kittens and am happy to supplement training and treat distribution/reward systems as directed by the pet owner. I believe that pet owners deserve peace of mind because there is nothing more stressful than leaving a beloved pet in the care of another - especially if that person is not a familiar. As a pet sitter, I strive to earn the respect of not only my client but their pet(s) as well. It is a privilege and an honor to be entrusted with your fur babies. If you have special requirements or behavioral notes for your pet(s), I am happy to discuss them with you and ensure that you're selecting the best individual for their care! *My husband, Brandon, may join me for walks that are early or late in the day for safety’s sake. If that is anticipated, I will communicate with my clients ahead of time and confirm that they are comfortable with the circumstance. If pets are uncomfortable with a male, I am happy to adjust! I am available most weekends, weekdays after 6pm, and occasional weekdays during work hours (see below for more info). I am not available on Mondays. I work full time Monday-Friday; however, I do WFH one day a week, which affords me additional flexibility for care requests during work hours. For any weekday requests I would like a weeks notice so that I can schedule that WFH day in advanced notice. Thank you! When caring for pets in another's home, I follow the house rules, respect property, and aim to sustain schedules. For example, removing shoes while in the home, keeping pet care items in designated spots, staying with the pet if they go out into the yard for play or potty, following a training regimen, kenneling before leaving, etc. If you have specific requests for me, I am happy to discuss them with you in advance!

“This was our first time having Emma house/dog sit for us and she was wonderful! Took great care of our older dog and our house. She communicated quickly and was here when she said she was going to be. Would absolutely use Emma again!”

“I've known Citara for several years and i can confidently say she’s one of the most dependable and caring people I know. She’s helped care for my pets on multiple occasions, and I always feel completely at ease knowing they’re in her hands. Citara has a calm and loving energy that animals respond to right away. She’s attentive, follows instructions carefully, and treats every pet like they’re her own. Beyond that, she’s incredibly respectful, trustworthy, and communicates well—qualities that are just as important when someone is coming into your home to care for your pets. If you’re looking for someone responsible, kind, and great with animals, Citara is an excellent choice.”

Jacqueline S.Star Sitter
“Jacque has watched my pets for four years now. I have three dogs and two cats. My corgis love when she arrives because she showers them with love and cuddles. My dogs are obese so Jacque is always careful with feedings, and diligent about walks. My cats are usually scarce with strangers, but they will great her. All in all she is very responsible, follows directions, and is loved by all the fur babies. ❤️ I couldn't ask for a better sitter.”

Ashley C.
“I’ve trusted Ashley to care for my own pet, and I couldn’t have been happier. She kept me updated with photos and messages, and I could tell my pet was not just well taken care of, but genuinely happy and relaxed in their presence.”

Draven R.

“Draven was fantastic. There was work being done outside the house that couldn’t be rescheduled and she was ok with taking the dog out front for a bit instead. She even kept me updated when there was a power outage after a storm ❤️”

Ashley R.
“If my puppy could write this testimonial, she’d say “Ashley is always up for a game of fetch and you couldn’t find a more worthy tug-o-war opponent. And that spot next to her on the couch? Permanently reserved (by me).” If my cats could write, one would say “She knows my vibe and waits for me to make the first move before she tries to love on me. 10/10, would let scritch again.” And the other one would say “She gives me her undivided attention and provides endless pets. Which is perfect because it’s what I rightfully deserve.” But since I am the one who knows how to type, I will say this– My puppy cannot wait to see Ashley when we get to her house, and when she gets back home, my puppy will nap and continue to be relaxed through the next day. If you have a high energy dog, you know this is invaluable. My two cats don’t try to hide from her, they will both walk right up to her and ask for pets. And one of them is very bashful! I fully trust Ashley to care for, love, and respect my pets. I know my pets would agree because they love her, too!”

Dakota H.

“Could not compliment Dakota enough! I will definitely be using her services again!”
