About: As the proud owners to two wonderful little rescue dogs, a cat, some chickens, guinea fowl, goats and sheep, we know how hard it can be sometimes to find care for your pets and farm animals while you are away. We will provide the same level of care and kindness that I would want and expect for our own spoiled pets. Trust is an important part of pet care and petsitting, and we want you to be able to confidently, and without worry, leave your pampered pups and kitties in our care. We live on a small farm in rural Western Maryland, about 20 minutes west of Frederick. We have experience with all kinds of animal care, from horses, cows, goats, sheep, and poultry. We are currently able to provide drop-in visits for dogs, cats, and a variety of farm animals, as well as house or farm sitting, and in home boarding, as well as hourly dog park style use of our large fenced yard. Your pets will be a happy addition to our family in our home! My whole property is fenced by 4 ft or taller board and wire fencing, with smaller areas sectioned off in the front and back yards. The driveway is gated and secure. I want your pets to feel as safe as my own. I currently work only at home, tending our farm homestead, and have a flexible schedule. I'm able to drop in one or two times a day, or less or more often, as needed. I treat every animal as if it were my own and provide a level of care that I give my own and that I would expect from my pet care provider.

About: Ever since I was around ten years old I was the neighborhood’s go-to guy for any kind of pet care they needed while away. I’ve had multiple pets in my lifetime and have developed the skills I need to create a bond with any animal I meet. I’m currently available anytime you might need pet care. I’m happy to check up on your pets early in the morning as well as very late depending on your needs. I make sure to be very respectful of peoples homes and try to keep everything neat and as I found it. I like to play with pets where they are comfortable in their own space.

About: I have been around animals my whole life and want to spoil yours! I have owned cats and dogs both and take care of many of my neighbors pets all the time! I am the person who is always getting distracted and running late because I ran into a dog that needed to be pet! I am not currently working so I am free to walk and take care of your pets full time! I can easily adjust my schedule to stay overnight if needed and just visit if not! I have lots of experience walking dogs safely (my last dog was a beagle, so I know how the nose can lead a dog!) About: I have been taking care of cats including my own since the '90s. They are fascinating creatures and I love to watch their personalities really come out when they get comfortable. It's my goal to have pet parents at ease knowing that they're furry babies are in good hands in their absence. I work full-time working from home on Mondays and Fridays, but I am able to stop in for wellness checks during the week first thing in the morning and in the late afternoon and offer overnight care when needed. I take special consideration when caring for cats to ensure there are no toxic plants around, no strings or dangerous toys And that they get plenty of love and affection to ensure they feel safe while their pet parents are away

About: Ive taken care of dogs since I was younger. Most recently it’s just been me and my girl Jayde. I absolutely love animals. I have senior care for dogs, i’m able to do baths, brushing coat, walks, play dates. I’m currently working part time and looking for a little something extra to do during the week. Morning and afternoons work great for me for drop ins and walks. I will be able to keep your fur babies company while you are busy during the day. I love being outdoors and walking my dog and she loves it too.

About: I have a reputation at the dog park for the dogs flocking to me as I arrive. I teach them to jump through the agility equipment and roll over. I run with them and give them plenty of scratches and hugs. Our late dog was my hiking companion along the C&O Canal (a five minute walk from our house), local segments of the Appalachian Trail, local parks and the woods and historic district of Harpers Ferry. I’m currently looking for daily opportunities to spend more time with dogs and provide the opportunities they need for exercise and human companionship. I’m very keen on early morning and evening walks during the summer but available most days. Our late dog was a shepherd/retriever mix,I regularly took her to the dog park to play with her friends or to run the short agility course I trained her to run when she was young. I am always on the lookout for poison ivy or possible tick habitats and careful to help the dog manage in potentially stressful situations along the way. I always stop at street corners and do not proceed until all cars have passed (even the ones that insist you go first) so that the dog will understand that we do not cross the street when cars are present.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for as long as I can remember. I have grown up with dogs, and love all dogs. Neighbors and family members have relied on me to take care of their dogs. This includes feeding, exercising, medication and play time! I am experienced with handling puppies and with senior dogs as well. I currently don’t have any other commitments, so I have plenty of time to play and take care of your doggies! I’m available Sunday through Saturday all day and or night. I will follow set instructions if you have any in regards to being in your home. Otherwise, I will care for your beloved puppy like they are my own and use my judgment.

I have a deep love of all animals and will shower them with affection and take care of their specific needs as you require. Your pets will be well cared for while you are gone. Communication via phone or social media as desired while you are away. Will walk and talk to your pet as if they are family. Can also administer medication if needed.

About: I’ve been dog sitting for friends for years. When I purchased my own home one of the dogs I was taking a care of ended up being my dog full time due to circumstances the previous owner wasn’t anticipating. Shortly after after we adopted a pit bull from the shelter and they became best friends. A year later we tried fostering and he fit in the pack so well that we failed and adopted him 3 weeks later. I took a hiatus from Rover to acclimate the newest addition to “being a dog” he had a sad backstory and was learning to be a dog with his brothers. Now that he’s settled in and confidently part of the pack he’s always very excited to spend time with new dogs and often mimicks their behaviors trying to be like them! We’re still working on smaller dogs if in honest. But bigger dogs he seems to love to idolize. I have a lot of love to give. Both a fenced in yard and non fenced in yard and live close to a state park for walks. I do work M-F but welcome dogs all week long. Currently only accepting spayed and neutered dogs for boarding. Asking for 3 days notice but life happens and if I’m available can do same day! I’m currently working full time M-F but as long as your dog is spayed or neutered I have plenty of room for them! I have a finished basement that if they require their own space will be very easy to separate from my dogs if needed. I’m around most weekends and holidays. I have a fenced in yard, a non fenced in yard, 3 dogs to keep your dog company and a closed off finished basement if they need space.

About: I’ve had dogs as a child and well into my adulthood. We, as a family, have never not had to care for an animal at all different stages. We are definitely a dog family. I have enjoyed caring for friend fur babies as well over the years. Overnight stays, snuggles, play time, walking. bathing, light training, medication and care in late stages of life are all many things I experienced the last 30 years of being a pet owner. I am working part time from home and have a lot of flexibility in my schedule to accommodate your schedule and any last minute life changes that may arise. I feel keeping our pet’s happy is about their comfort. Toys, item of clothing with owners sent and not shifting their daily schedule is most important when caring for pets while their owners are away. My goal is to keep them in their daily normalcy of comfort, what ever that looks like for each pet , with a lot of extra love or comfortable space they need. A clients home would be treated with the same respect as my own and left as found.

About: Our little family (Nathan, Kelly, and our kids) are raising Huck, a 1 year old Yellow Lab. We’ve trained him and are found walking around town with him often. As dog owners, we know how much it means to us when someone we trust is able to watch our dog. Now we want to give the same option to other pet owners. While most of our experience is with dogs, my wife can also cat sit and we also have had a fish in recent years. We are laid back, but also have some active hobbies, such as hiking, kayaking and traveling. We would love to hang out, walk, play, and feed your pup in the comfort of his or her home, or welcome him or her to ours. In addition to Huck, Kelly and I rescued a reactive dog with separation anxiety and had him for several years. I grew up with a mini-Pom and also helped raise a golden retriever from a puppy. We also have many friends with dogs and sit for them frequently. We are very comfortable administering oral medication but since we will be bringing the dog around our family, the dog should not be aggressive or reactive. We are at home most days and we homeschool and work from home for several days throughout the week. We are happy to work with your schedule to support your pet. We love to play with dogs. Our kids have been around dogs since they were very young and love cats as well, although we don’t have one.
