About: I've taken care of friends, family and neighbors animals since I was about 12. Feeding, water, play. I'm more familiar with dogs and cats but I can also take care of other pets you might have including fish, hamsters and even chickens! About: As the proud owners to two wonderful little rescue dogs, a cat, some chickens, guinea fowl, goats and sheep, we know how hard it can be sometimes to find care for your pets and farm animals while you are away. We live on a small farm in rural Western Maryland, about 20 minutes west of Frederick. We have experience with all kinds of animal care, from horses, cows, goats, sheep, and poultry. We are currently able to provide drop-in visits for dogs, cats, and a variety of farm animals, as well as house or farm sitting, and in home boarding, as well as hourly dog park style use of our large fenced yard. Your pets will be a happy addition to our family in our home! Our whole property is fenced by 4 ft or taller board and wire fencing, with smaller areas sectioned off in the front and back yards. The driveway is gated and secure. We want your pets to feel as safe as our own. Leah and Andrew are both available for petsitting services. We currently work only at home, tending our farm homestead, and have a flexible schedule. We are able to drop in one or two times a day, or less or more often, as needed. We treat every animal as if it were our own and provide a level of care that we would expect from our pet care provider.

I'll have some availability on the weekends when I don't have class, usually starting around 12pm! There are plenty trails, parks and squares around Maryland, which will provide your dog plenty of room for extra exercise, plenty of playing, and exploring! I will happily take your dog for long walks, play with them however your living space will allow, and play with them as long as you are comfortable with in the parks!

I offer overnight sitting in your home any time, and weekend boarding in my home, when I am able to be there with your pet all day. I also am able to do drop in visits during the day for dog walking or to check in on your pet. In addition, my adult daughter lives at home and has a very flexible schedule where she can assist in care for your pet. I am 100% respectful of your home and space and will leave your home in the condition it was when I got there.
