About: My whole life we had cats and dogs. I have house sat for neighbors and friends with pets since I was ten years old. I currently own a rabbit. I have also cared for all kinds of rodents, fish, and reptiles. I have trained puppies and kittens and a bunny. I also cared for my older dachshund and gave him shots and necessary medications. I work part time teaching yoga throughout the week and have lots of availability. I only have custody of my kids every other week making my week without them a great time for extra hours and house sitting. I keep pets from being hungry, thirsty, or bored. I keep pets nicely groomed and their areas and things nicely cleaned. I offer direct focus and affection. I can walk or run with dogs. I love doing yoga on the floor and watching cats or my rabbit climb all over me and get affection.
About: As the proud owners to two wonderful little rescue dogs, a cat, some chickens, guinea fowl, goats and sheep, we know how hard it can be sometimes to find care for your pets and farm animals while you are away. We will provide the same level of care and kindness that I would want and expect for our own spoiled pets. Trust is an important part of pet care and petsitting, and we want you to be able to confidently, and without worry, leave your pampered pups and kitties in our care. We live on a small farm in rural Western Maryland, about 20 minutes west of Frederick. We have experience with all kinds of animal care, from horses, cows, goats, sheep, and poultry. We are currently able to provide drop-in visits for dogs, cats, and a variety of farm animals, as well as house or farm sitting, and in home boarding, as well as hourly dog park style use of our large fenced yard. Your pets will be a happy addition to our family in our home! Our whole property is fenced by 4 ft or taller board and wire fencing, with smaller areas sectioned off in the front and back yards. The driveway is gated and secure. We want your pets to feel as safe as our own. Leah and Andrew are both available for petsitting services. We currently work only at home, tending our farm homestead, and have a flexible schedule. We are able to drop in one or two times a day, or less or more often, as needed. We treat every animal as if it were our own and provide a level of care that we would expect from our pet care provider.
About: I have been around cats and Dogs my whole life. I'm willing to get to know you and your fur babies. I'm the proud pet parent of two lovely cat boys, Dusty and Babaloo (I love Lucy lore 😊). About: I’ve been dogsitting throughout highschool while juggling sports, other jobs, AP classes and my own furry friends. I am able to set a goal and see it through whether it be training your puppy, playing with your cat or walking your fur babies daily. About: I’ve had the pleasure of raising a dog from 9 weeks old to his current 13 years. I’ve been there every step of the way, from puppyhood to adulthood and senior years. Plus, my dog tore his ACL, so I know firsthand the challenges of keeping your pet safe and out of harm’s way, along with the need for special care and instructions. I am currently a senior student athlete in college with a flexible schedule. I wanted to find a part-time job that I would actually enjoy, and I have always loved being near animals. Coming back home to my dog is always the highlight of my trip, so being near dogs and getting to see the joy on their faces has always made me smile. I think pets are happiest when they’re in their own space, so I’d rather work at someone else’s home. Plus, getting to know the dog and the pet owners will really help everyone feel more comfortable.

Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
