He’s five-years old and had never been away from home - I am sure it was challenging for him. While not aggressive or disobedient, at about 120lbs he can be intimidating. Ellen was clearly very comfortable with him during our meet and greet visit and was very confident he’d be fine with her. He absolute was! She made him very at home on her beautiful farmette with her pack of critters. They all looked clean and loved. I noted her calmness with the dogs and confidence in their interaction under her watchful eye. The dogs have plenty of space to run and socialize. She made sure we gave her his “regular” food and medications, and verified other foods he would be allowed to have. She sent regular updates and photos during his stay. Each action shot was accompanied by a thoughtful narrative of the photo. We really enjoyed pictures of his quiet time, napping with the other dogs in her home was comforting. They all looked content. We needed an extra day of boarding because of the unpredictability of our travel and Ellen made it so easy. Our dog made new friends and we did too.”

They have a backyard which is great for my chocolate lab to play and they have a playful dog that was perfect for Rocco. About: I believe in offering dog boarding at affordable rates and want my clients to book with me with the confidence that their dog will be welcomed into our family and cared for like they were our own (who we looove. A lot!). If your dog wants to join in on our active routine, they'll get a 1-1.5 mile walk in the morning, an early afternoon free-play romp in the securely fenced yard, another 1-1.5 mile walk around dinner time, and then hanging with the family in the evening. And I am happy to accommodate any of your preferences for their care! I work from home and am able to spend quality time with the dogs throughout the day. The dogs I care for fit into our family routine, which is active and close-knit. I have a fenced yard that gives the dogs plenty of room to run and play, and I have two Australian Shepherds who just love having a pack. Mine sleep in crates overnight and are fed separately. They are also happy to share their toys to help keep your dog occupied!

I’ve always had dogs and have taken care of family/friends/neighbors’ dogs when needed. I offer boarding, walks, a fenced in yard and socialization with my children and my own pets. About: As the proud owners to two wonderful little rescue dogs, a cat, some chickens, guinea fowl, goats and sheep, we know how hard it can be sometimes to find care for your pets and farm animals while you are away. Trust is an important part of pet care and petsitting, and we want you to be able to confidently, and without worry, leave your pampered pups and kitties in our care. We live on a small farm in rural Western Maryland, about 20 minutes west of Frederick. We have experience with all kinds of animal care, from horses, cows, goats, sheep, and poultry. We are currently able to provide drop-in visits for dogs, cats, and a variety of farm animals, as well as house or farm sitting, and in home boarding, as well as hourly dog park style use of our large fenced yard. Your pets will be a happy addition to our family in our home! My whole property is fenced by 4 ft or taller board and wire fencing, with smaller areas sectioned off in the front and back yards. The driveway is gated and secure. I want your pets to feel as safe as my own. I currently work only at home, tending our farm homestead, and have a flexible schedule. I'm able to drop in one or two times a day, or less or more often, as needed. I treat every animal as if it were my own and provide a level of care that I give my own and that I would expect from my pet care provider.

About: I’ve been dog sitting for friends for years. When I purchased my own home one of the dogs I was taking a care of ended up being my dog full time due to circumstances the previous owner wasn’t anticipating. Shortly after after we adopted a pit bull from the shelter and they became best friends. A year later we tried fostering and he fit in the pack so well that we failed and adopted him 3 weeks later. I took a hiatus from Rover to acclimate the newest addition to “being a dog” he had a sad backstory and was learning to be a dog with his brothers. Now that he’s settled in and confidently part of the pack he’s always very excited to spend time with new dogs and often mimicks their behaviors trying to be like them! We’re still working on smaller dogs if in honest. But bigger dogs he seems to love to idolize. I have a lot of love to give. Both a fenced in yard and non fenced in yard and live close to a state park for walks. I do work M-F but welcome dogs all week long. Currently only accepting spayed and neutered dogs for boarding. Asking for 3 days notice but life happens and if I’m available can do same day! I’m currently working full time M-F but as long as your dog is spayed or neutered I have plenty of room for them! I have a finished basement that if they require their own space will be very easy to separate from my dogs if needed. I’m around most weekends and holidays. I have a fenced in yard, a non fenced in yard, 3 dogs to keep your dog company and a closed off finished basement if they need space.

About: I've owned and watched dogs since I was 10 years old. From small puppies, elderly dogs, to dogs huge as a mastiff and small as a chihuahua. “Boarding with Ellen was outstanding. We had a family emergency that made taking our large dog with us impossible. He’s five-years old and had never been away from home - I am sure it was challenging for him. While not aggressive or disobedient, at about 120lbs he can be intimidating. Ellen was clearly very comfortable with him during our meet and greet visit and was very confident he’d be fine with her. He absolute was! She made him very at home on her beautiful farmette with her pack of critters. They all looked clean and loved. I noted her calmness with the dogs and confidence in their interaction under her watchful eye. The dogs have plenty of space to run and socialize. She made sure we gave her his “regular” food and medications, and verified other foods he would be allowed to have. She sent regular updates and photos during his stay. Each action shot was accompanied by a thoughtful narrative of the photo. We really enjoyed pictures of his quiet time, napping with the other dogs in her home was comforting. They all looked content. We needed an extra day of boarding because of the unpredictability of our travel and Ellen made it so easy. Our dog made new friends and we did too.”

“Jennifer is a true professional and so clearly enjoys what she does! We have had poor Rover experiences in the past, but she put me at ease from our first meeting. Our dog has a super sensitive stomach and she assured us that she’d be kept away from any food and toys that we didn’t bring. Aside from her great care, Jennifer was super responsive and sent pictures at least twice a day without a fail. I didn’t worry about Ivy at all while we were away. Will definitely be using Jennifer in the future!”
“Nat &Ally are amazing, this is by far the best Rover service that I ever had and I have been using Rovers for more than 3 years. They are very attentive, they do a meeting before the drop off day, they truly want to make sure my furbaby will feel welcome and safe. They asked all the right questions, food, timing, snacks, what is he allowed or not to do and so on. They have a backyard which is great for my chocolate lab to play and they have a playful dog that was perfect for Rocco. We even got a drawing from Rocco, from one of the kids, that made me cry…Happy cry! They are all super sweet. Love their vibe and respect. I recommend them 100%. I would be looking forward to work with them more often.”

About: I believe in offering dog boarding at affordable rates and want my clients to book with me with the confidence that their dog will be welcomed into our family and cared for like they were our own (who we looove. A lot!). If your dog wants to join in on our active routine, they'll get a 1-1.5 mile walk in the morning, an early afternoon free-play romp in the securely fenced yard, another 1-1.5 mile walk around dinner time, and then hanging with the family in the evening. And I am happy to accommodate any of your preferences for their care! I work from home and am able to spend quality time with the dogs throughout the day. The dogs I care for fit into our family routine, which is active and close-knit. I have a fenced yard that gives the dogs plenty of room to run and play, and I have two Australian Shepherds who just love having a pack. Mine sleep in crates overnight and are fed separately. They are also happy to share their toys to help keep your dog occupied!

“We had a great experience with Nicole taking care of our pug, Memo, for about a week. She was super nice and easy to work with from the start. From the meet and greet, we knew Memo was going to love her. She kept us updated every day on how Memo was doing, and we really like the photos and videos she sent. “Our dog Hank is a small mixed-breed dog with lots of energy. He had a blast staying with Marne and John. We received daily pictures and were so happy he was in such great care. The backyard has lots of space to run around and they had lots of toys. We met with Marne as our dog and theirs got to know each other.
