About: I've owned and watched dogs since I was 10 years old. From small puppies, elderly dogs, to dogs huge as a mastiff and small as a chihuahua. Whether they be my own, friends, or families I held dear, being around and caring for dogs have always been a huge part of my life! I've fed them, bathed them, given them medicine, and have always been relable. Currently, I am mostly self-employed & studying for a Real Estate license. I do work mornings at a horse barn, and have a contract gig working occasional weekends with a D&D-styled Bed & Breakfast. Thankfully those shifts are scheduled months in advance and, for barn work, typically wrap up around 11-Noon. :) I'm always willing to give dogs the ample affections and pets they need! I'm super attentive to when they need to go outside/take a walk, have their food right on schedule, have some playtime, or whenever they just geniunely need attention and love. I honestly do it everyday for my own dogs. So I'll have no trouble giving them the same needs I give my precious wee babies.

About: My pup is an older King Charles clavier mix and the sweetest thing ever. She just had her 12th birthday and I have had her since she was 2! I also have experience with big dogs! My boyfriend has a German shepherd and a Rottweiler who I spend lots of time around. One of my roommates at school also has a cat who lives with us! I have experience watching both dogs and cats and just have a deep love for the both!! I am currently working part-time doing an internship for my school, which has given me lots of free time. I love spending time with my pup either just relaxing, going for walks, or playing. My pup is very well trained which makes it very easy for me to take her out as she doesn’t require a leash. However, I have experience with dogs who have a tendency to run if they get the chance 😂 So I am familiar with adjusting to different dogs needs!

About: I currently work as a caretaker at a dog daycare center, where I care for dogs with a wide range of personalities, temperaments, and play styles every day. Whether your dog is super energetic, anxious, older, or just needs a little extra patience and attention, I’m more than comfortable adapting to their needs. I’ve also worked as a farmhand, helping feed and care for animals like chickens and other livestock. I’ve also been around animals my whole life and currently care for a cat, an elderly black lab, and a young hound puppy. Weekdays: Available after 1:30 PM for walks, drop-ins, and pet care. Weekends: Usually fully available for walks, house sitting, overnight stays, and extended care. I’m a Dog Daycare worker during the weekdays, so my services may be limited to the afternoon + evenings from Monday-Friday. With dogs, I’m very patient and comfortable with all personalities, including high-energy, excitable, or anxious dogs. I focus on calm and respectful handling and try to help very anxious dogs feel safe by giving them space, approaching slowly, and using gentle reassurance like calm voice and light petting on their side when appropriate. I pay attention to body language and always aim to build trust rather than pressure them into an interaction. If a dog is acting out, I redirect their attention and follow any training or behavior instructions provided by the owner. With cats, I’m used to reading their behavior and giving them the space or attention they want. I understand that many cats are super independent and are protective about their space, but I also enjoy working with affectionate, social cats. I have experience caring for kittens, including feeding and basic hands-on care, as well as senior cats who may need routine medication or any extra attention.

About: Currently a stay at home mom. Prior to being a mom I was a pet sitter for 10+ years, but took some time off to focus on my family. I’m excited to get back to hanging out with all the animals! I grew up on a small horse farm and have always had dogs and cats. I have done horse sitting as well as dog/cats! I currently have an American Staffordshire terrier, Archie! Archie has a unique story to how we adopted him. He was a rescue from a hurricane in NC! I have a big soft spot for rescues and pits. Being a stay at home mom has left me with an open schedule and plenty of time to care for your pet. In some cases I may need to bring my son but I do wear him during my time there and that will always be discussed prior to me caring for your pet. I’m able to crate your dog if needed and follow your instructions on how to handle your pets. I have experience with giving some oral medications to my dog and would be happy to do so if that’s needed for your pet.

About: As the proud owners to two wonderful little rescue dogs, a cat, some chickens, guinea fowl, goats and sheep, we know how hard it can be sometimes to find care for your pets and farm animals while you are away. We will provide the same level of care and kindness that I would want and expect for our own spoiled pets. Trust is an important part of pet care and petsitting, and we want you to be able to confidently, and without worry, leave your pampered pups and kitties in our care. We live on a small farm in rural Western Maryland, about 20 minutes west of Frederick. We have experience with all kinds of animal care, from horses, cows, goats, sheep, and poultry. We are currently able to provide drop-in visits for dogs, cats, and a variety of farm animals, as well as house or farm sitting, and in home boarding, as well as hourly dog park style use of our large fenced yard. Your pets will be a happy addition to our family in our home! Our whole property is fenced by 4 ft or taller board and wire fencing, with smaller areas sectioned off in the front and back yards. The driveway is gated and secure. We want your pets to feel as safe as our own. Leah and Andrew are both available for petsitting services. We currently work only at home, tending our farm homestead, and have a flexible schedule. We are able to drop in one or two times a day, or less or more often, as needed. We treat every animal as if it were our own and provide a level of care that we would expect from our pet care provider.

About: Ive taken care of and owned dogs for 20+yrs. I have alot of love to give an will love yours like they are my own. I am currently off for summer break and am available all days and hours. I live alone with my furbaby Koda,and I love all animals! I have a year old chocolate lab who loves new friends. I have a fenced in back yard and I have a crate if needed.

About: I have been around animals my whole life and want to spoil yours! I have owned cats and dogs both and take care of many of my neighbors pets all the time! I am the person who is always getting distracted and running late because I ran into a dog that needed to be pet! I am not currently working so I am free to walk and take care of your pets full time! I can easily adjust my schedule to stay overnight if needed and just visit if not! I have lots of experience walking dogs safely (my last dog was a beagle, so I know how the nose can lead a dog!) I am happy to crate your dog and keep them safe at your home and in your yard and neighborhood!

About: Dogs have always been a part of my life. I look out for them. I believe exercise is critical. I care about their comfort and nutrition, including constant fresh water! I like to have notes on personalities and habits of the dogs I care for so as to help the animal feel comfortable. I prefer dogs that have been crate trained or trained for healthy habits. A crate is a necessary tool and a dog should feel safe in a crate. If I need to step out for any reason, your dog will be put in a crate for their safety (or your preferred method). Favorite toys and bedding is encouraged. Please know that your dog is safe and cared for while in my supervision. I'm home most of the day with the exception of a few hours(3-3 1/2) so, your dog will have my attention and care! Besides, all dogs need naps, right? :-) Holiday rates will apply to all of my services. Mostly retired. Why not use my time to care for wonderful animals? I currently have 3 cats. My dogs are gone but not forgotten, r.i.p. ♥ I have a fenced yard and a cat-tio. Safety is utmost important to me while caring for animals. Trust me, I care immensely. No worries.

About: I have been taking care of cats including my own since the '90s. They are fascinating creatures and I love to watch their personalities really come out when they get comfortable. It's my goal to have pet parents at ease knowing that they're furry babies are in good hands in their absence. I work full-time working from home on Mondays and Fridays, but I am able to stop in for wellness checks during the week first thing in the morning and in the late afternoon and offer overnight care when needed. I take special consideration when caring for cats to ensure there are no toxic plants around, no strings or dangerous toys And that they get plenty of love and affection to ensure they feel safe while their pet parents are away

About: I’ve had dogs as a child and well into my adulthood. We, as a family, have never not had to care for an animal at all different stages. We are definitely a dog family. I have enjoyed caring for friend fur babies as well over the years. Overnight stays, snuggles, play time, walking. bathing, light training, medication and care in late stages of life are all many things I experienced the last 30 years of being a pet owner. I am working part time from home and have a lot of flexibility in my schedule to accommodate your schedule and any last minute life changes that may arise. I feel keeping our pet’s happy is about their comfort. Toys, item of clothing with owners sent and not shifting their daily schedule is most important when caring for pets while their owners are away. My goal is to keep them in their daily normalcy of comfort, what ever that looks like for each pet , with a lot of extra love or comfortable space they need. A clients home would be treated with the same respect as my own and left as found.
