I am a dog business owner and trainer. Prior to that I worked as an animal keeper and trainer for the National Zoo for 4 years. I grew up on a horse farm and currently own 2 horses. I take all dogs out on a collar and long line (up to 50 ft when appropriate) for exercise and allow off leash play when appropriate. I will also do long walks around my property for dogs that do best with regular leash walking. I own dogs of various breeds and sizes and dogs will be allowed to play if deemed appropriate. We live on a small farm in rural Western Maryland, about 20 minutes west of Frederick. We have experience with all kinds of animal care, from horses, cows, goats, sheep, and poultry. We are currently able to provide drop-in visits for dogs, cats, and a variety of farm animals, as well as house or farm sitting, and in home boarding, as well as hourly dog park style use of our large fenced yard. Your pets will be a happy addition to our family in our home! My whole property is fenced by 4 ft or taller board and wire fencing, with smaller areas sectioned off in the front and back yards. The driveway is gated and secure. I want your pets to feel as safe as my own. I currently work only at home, tending our farm homestead, and have a flexible schedule. I'm able to drop in one or two times a day, or less or more often, as needed. I treat every animal as if it were my own and provide a level of care that I give my own and that I would expect from my pet care provider.

About: I grew up with big breads and little breads, I have always had a dog. I love being able to run, walk and play with them! Our family dog passed a few years back and I haven’t had the heart yet to adopt a new member into my family, however being able to help others with their fur family, I think would help me with feeling that love again! I work from home in a super dog-friendly community with lots of walking paths and big open fields to explore. I love being outside soaking up the sunshine, going on long walks, and adventuring through nature—especially with a happy pup by my side! 🐾 I live in a spacious townhome with plenty of room to run and play. I understand that many cats are super independent and are protective about their space, but I also enjoy working with affectionate, social cats. About: I've owned and watched dogs since I was 10 years old. From small puppies, elderly dogs, to dogs huge as a mastiff and small as a chihuahua. Whether they be my own, friends, or families I held dear, being around and caring for dogs have always been a huge part of my life! About: I have cared for dogs my entire life and have always grown up around them. I currently have experience with multiple dogs of different ages, sizes, and needs, including caring for dogs recovering from injuries such as torn ACLs. I also provide overnight care for multiple families and their pets. I truly love spending time with animals. I am patient, dependable, and passionate about making sure every dog feels safe, comfortable, and loved while in my care. I just finished my college semester, so I have a very flexible schedule and am available throughout the summer for weekday, weekend, and overnight care. I make sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for by following their normal routine as closely as possible. I provide plenty of attention, playtime, walks, fresh water, feeding on schedule, and a clean environment. I also pay close attention to each dog’s behavior and needs to make sure they are happy and stress-free while their owner is away.

About: I’ve had dogs as a child and well into my adulthood. We, as a family, have never not had to care for an animal at all different stages. We are definitely a dog family. I have enjoyed caring for friend fur babies as well over the years. Overnight stays, snuggles, play time, walking. bathing, light training, medication and care in late stages of life are all many things I experienced the last 30 years of being a pet owner. I am working part time from home and have a lot of flexibility in my schedule to accommodate your schedule and any last minute life changes that may arise. I feel keeping our pet’s happy is about their comfort. Toys, item of clothing with owners sent and not shifting their daily schedule is most important when caring for pets while their owners are away. My goal is to keep them in their daily normalcy of comfort, what ever that looks like for each pet , with a lot of extra love or comfortable space they need. A clients home would be treated with the same respect as my own and left as found.
About: I've cared for dogs of all ages from puppy to senior for multiple years now. I have experience watching dogs of varying sizes and energy levels so I can easily adapt to meet whatever their specific needs are. I value giving pets the care and attention they need in order to be healthy and happy! I work part-time so I have gaps in my schedule that caters well to pet care and I have flexibility to take up side jobs like these. About: I believe in offering dog boarding at affordable rates and want my clients to book with me with the confidence that their dog will be welcomed into our family and cared for like they were our own (who we looove. A lot!). If your dog wants to join in on our active routine, they'll get a 1-1.5 mile walk in the morning, an early afternoon free-play romp in the securely fenced yard, another 1-1.5 mile walk around dinner time, and then hanging with the family in the evening. And I am happy to accommodate any of your preferences for their care! I work from home and am able to spend quality time with the dogs throughout the day. The dogs I care for fit into our family routine, which is active and close-knit. I have a fenced yard that gives the dogs plenty of room to run and play, and I have two Australian Shepherds who just love having a pack. Mine sleep in crates overnight and are fed separately. They are also happy to share their toys to help keep your dog occupied!

“We recently moved to NOVA from Midlothian and had to find a new Rover Ally to watch our 2 sweet Goldens- We used someone who lived in the same town and it did not go well at all so we were very nervous about leaving them again with anyone else.
