“Chanel was a guest with Min & Matt for a week! I got daily updates on her progress! She got lots of attention and great care! They treated her like family! She was spoiled rotten! I am so thankful I found these wonderful, kind, and caring couple! They are true animal lovers PLUS Min is a great photographer! She captured so many fantastic pictures of Chanel, I will be making reprints for my home! I am truly blessed to have found these folks I did not worry about Chanel the entire week I was gone!!’ I will use them again and again!💕💕💕”

“They took wonderful care of our dog! They took her on field trips and adventures. They provided pictures and videos and were completely accommodating to our schedule and our dogs needs. Sammy had the best time and came home happy, healthy and tired! We felt completely at ease with them and their dog. Beautiful property for the dog to spend a weekend and we will happily use them again. Wonderful care of our dog without a worry! Thank you!”

“Renee and her husband were great sitters for our 18-month old, very anxious rescue dog. They were very accommodating - we needed to adjust dates and they were fine with that. Maggie had a great time with them - they gave her time to feel confident and comfortable before introducing her to the other dogs in their household. I received a picture and a happy update each day of Maggie's stay. They were comfortable administering Maggie's daily medicine.”

“Annette is the best! I actually hesitate to leave a review because I don't want all of her spaces to fill up! Your dog will be welcomed into the fold and Annette will ask you about - and then pay attention to - their needs. She has been fostering for so long, she has literally seen everything – and can deal with everything. Teddy had a great time, and I left with new insights into her behaviors. Annette is a gem.”

“Olivia was great with my lab Daisy! Daisy has exhibited separation anxiety in the past when I have been gone for a while but Olivia was very patient with her. She has 2 small dogs of her own which probably helped too. She was very flexible with drop off and pick up times as well. Also she did a good job of keeping me up to date by daily sending me pictures and videos. All in all I would definitely recommend Olivia for all your dog sitting needs.”

“Chris, what an exceptional job. When I first met Chris, it was very obvious he was just excited to hangout with my pup. Dropping her off was simple and gave me a lot of confidence for Indys Stay. Chris sent me pictures during the entire 6 days he cared for Indy. Picking her up, they had already been out on a nice walk and it was obvious because she was very tired. I plan on using Chris again and would recommend anyone to entrust Chris with their Animal.”

“Kathryn and her family did a wonderful job hosting our dog Duke for two weeks. She was flexible, kept us informed of how things were going in a timely manner, and happen to live within walking distance of our house. Highly recommended!”

“As always, Kuzco had the time od his life with Rachel and Jason. They're so good with him, it allows me to breath a little easier as a first time pawrent. Thank you!”

“Jeannie and Roebert took care of Peanut like their own and always updated us with the tid bits from her daily routines. We loved their services and also the care they put into making sure that peanut is happy and content. We definitely recommend their services to any pet owner who are looking for a household settings with caring people around their pet. Highly recommended. ☺️”

“Amazing!!! Samantha and her family watched our corgi, Momo, for two whole weeks. We got daily pictures and videos and updates, which we LOVED. She took great care of him and treated him like her own <3 He really fell in love with them (and with Winston, their friendly family dog). I’m not sure Momo wanted to come home hahaha. Best experience I could’ve asked for!”

“We always feel reassured that our pup is taken care of and they’re happy to have her. Daisy is treated like the princess she is. I highly recommend their family to watch your beloved pets.”

“Terri and Chuck are so caring and so thorough with their fur guests. They welcomed our pup Sienna with open arms, and followed all of our instructions for care. Terri genuinely loves animals and it shows in the care she gives them. We loved the many pictures and video updates during our trip. Thank you Terri!”

“We recently moved to NOVA from Midlothian and had to find a new Rover Ally to watch our 2 sweet Goldens- We used someone who lived in the same town and it did not go well at all so we were very nervous about leaving them again with anyone else. I can hands down say this was one of our best Rover experiences ever!! Joel and Janelle have a beautiful place with a large grassy fenced yard! They sent periodic incredible “action” pictures and our Goldens did not seemed stressed at all when we picked them up. We are looking forward to our stay with them early next month.”

“Emily has taken care of my dog twice in the past month or so. Emily is superb in every way. She exceeded my requests for his care and sent me updates and photos to help reassure me that he was doing well. She is a wonderful match for my dog.”

“My dog was in good hands for the two weeks that she was with her! She’s very sweet and sends photo updates frequently. I would definitely book her again if we are in a pinch!”
“Ellen was amazing! She sent me daily updates with pictures and videos, which I really appreciated. Pearl was clearly happy and comfortable; she absolutely loved being on the farm, seeing the other animals, and making new friends. I’ll definitely be booking with Ellen again!”

“We have a Husky (Kalea) and she gets separation anxiety so we needed to find a home where she wasn’t crated. Kelly and her family are amazing with her and she became part of their family. Kelly sent me updates daily with photos and we could tell that Kalea was relaxed and having fun. Kelly has a big yard and a sweet little dog PJ that got along very well with Kalea. The whole experience was perfect and we were able to go away knowing Kalea was happy. Thank you Kelly!”

“Charity was awesome with Kylo, this was ur first time leaving our 1 yr old puppy but we felt great leaving him with her. We knew he will be in great hands! She stayed in contact with us through out the weeks and sent us lots of pictures and videos of our baby. We are so glad to have found Charity! Thank you so much for taking great care of Kylo!”

“I recently had the pleasure of entrusting Sera with the care of my beloved fur baby, Pixi, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. Sera is an outstanding pet sitter who goes above and beyond to ensure the well-being and happiness of the animals in her care. From the moment I met Sera, I could tell she had a genuine love for pets. Her warm and friendly demeanor instantly put me at ease, and I knew Pixi would be in good hands. Sera took the time to ask detailed questions about Pixi's routine, dietary needs, and any special considerations, demonstrating her commitment to providing personalized care. Throughout Pixi's stay with Sera, I received regular updates, including photos and messages, which brought me immense comfort. It was clear that Sera was not only meeting Pixi's basic needs but also showering her with love and attention. Pixi looked happy and content in every picture, which was a testament to the nurturing environment Sera provided. Sera's professionalism and reliability were also exceptional. She was punctual for drop-off and pick-up, and she accommodated my schedule without any issues. Additionally, Sera maintained a clean and safe environment for Pixi, ensuring her health and well-being were top priorities. What truly sets Sera apart is her willingness to go the extra mile. She engaged Pixi in stimulating activities, including walks, playtime, and even some basic training exercises. Pixi came back home not only well-cared for but also with new skills and improved behavior, which was a pleasant surprise. I highly recommend Sera to anyone in need of a pet sitter. Her genuine love for animals, attention to detail, and exceptional care make her an outstanding choice. I am grateful to have found Sera and will undoubtedly entrust Pixi's care to her in the future. About: As the proud owners to two wonderful little rescue dogs, a cat, some chickens, guinea fowl, goats and sheep, we know how hard it can be sometimes to find care for your pets and farm animals while you are away. We will provide the same level of care and kindness that I would want and expect for our own spoiled pets. Trust is an important part of pet care and petsitting, and we want you to be able to confidently, and without worry, leave your pampered pups and kitties in our care. We live on a small farm in rural Western Maryland, about 20 minutes west of Frederick. We have experience with all kinds of animal care, from horses, cows, goats, sheep, and poultry. We are currently able to provide drop-in visits for dogs, cats, and a variety of farm animals, as well as house or farm sitting, and in home boarding, as well as hourly dog park style use of our large fenced yard. Your pets will be a happy addition to our family in our home! My whole property is fenced by 4 ft or taller board and wire fencing, with smaller areas sectioned off in the front and back yards. The driveway is gated and secure. I want your pets to feel as safe as my own. I currently work only at home, tending our farm homestead, and have a flexible schedule. I'm able to drop in one or two times a day, or less or more often, as needed. I treat every animal as if it were my own and provide a level of care that I give my own and that I would expect from my pet care provider.
About: My family and I absolutely love dogs we lost ours recently and I am not ready to get another one but would love to care for yours like he/she was our own. I have 3 very energetic kiddos that would love to play with and give lots of love and cuddles to your fur baby. I am a stay at home mom, we have no other animals of any kind so your fur baby will have all the attention when they stay with us. Please be understanding that no pets in the bed, its a very full bed already with 3 kids under 6.
“Renee took great care of our dog at daycare! Good communication and sent pics/updates. Our fur baby came home happy and tired from a day of fun playing with Renee and her two dogs. Would recommend to anyone in need of doggie daycare and will definitely use her services again!”

“Barbara was polite, thoughtful, and kind. She texted to let us know how he was doing about halfway through the appointment, and she shared a cute picture. I would definitely book with her again and certainly recommend her!”

“Tux has always been anxious when left behind, but did very well with Emily all day. She was very attentive to his needs and he got along well with her other daycare pup. She sent numerous pictures and answered my texts right away when I checked in on him. She asked permission to take him on a short ride in her car, which I granted since he loves car rides and hates being left behind. I will definitely book with her again. Thanks, Emily, for taking such great care of our boy.”

“Olivia was really great with Lucky. He fit right in with her puppies and they had so much fun playing in her big yard. She also sent me pic and video updates. I will definitely be using be using her services again. 10/10!!! Thanks!!!”

“Great experience and service and Boodah loved going back each day. Kierstan was awesome and helped me navigate some tricky scheduling changes around festival performances. 10 stars!”

“We were so lucky to have Ellen watch our dog, Ziva! She has separation anxiety, and we were nervous about leaving her with someone new in a new environment. Ellen was so reassuring from the start, promising to take good care of her. And she absolutely did. Her sweet dog, Cleopatra, was so friendly and helped Ziva feel comfortable right away. Our first impression was unforgettable- Ziva followed Ellen, which is rare for her with someone she doesn’t know. Ellen took extra care to comfort Ziva when she was anxious and sent us picture updates that really put our minds at ease. Because of Ellen, we were able to enjoy our event without constantly checking our phones. This was such a relief, especially since we’ve had a bad experience with a previous sitter who never sent updates. Ellen went above and beyond, and we could truly feel the difference in Ziva’s comfort. We will definitely be using her services again. Thank you, Ellen, for caring for Ziva like she was your own!”

About: I grew up with big breads and little breads, I have always had a dog. I love being able to run, walk and play with them! Our family dog passed a few years back and I haven’t had the heart yet to adopt a new member into my family, however being able to help others with their fur family, I think would help me with feeling that love again! I work from home in a super dog-friendly community with lots of walking paths and big open fields to explore. I love being outside soaking up the sunshine, going on long walks, and adventuring through nature—especially with a happy pup by my side! 🐾 I live in a spacious townhome with plenty of room to run and play. Our neighborhood has great walking paths and large open fields to explore and enjoy! We’re a non-smoking household and don’t have small children. My preteen daughter has always loved having dogs around, and our home is very pet-friendly. Our furniture is pet-friendly too, and we love when friends bring their dogs over to hang out!

“Ximena is an excellent dog walker! She is incredibly reliable, always on time, and my dog absolutely adores her. I always come home to a happy and tired pup, which is exactly what I'm looking for. Highly recommend!”

About: I currently work as a caretaker at a dog daycare center, where I care for dogs with a wide range of personalities, temperaments, and play styles every day. Whether your dog is super energetic, anxious, older, or just needs a little extra patience and attention, I’m more than comfortable adapting to their needs. I’ve also worked as a farmhand, helping feed and care for animals like chickens and other livestock. I’ve also been around animals my whole life and currently care for a cat, an elderly black lab, and a young hound puppy. I’m a college student hoping to earn extra cash doing something I genuinely love! I treat every animal like one of my best friends and always aim to make them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. Weekdays: Available after 1:30 PM for walks, drop-ins, and pet care. Weekends: Usually fully available for walks, house sitting, overnight stays, and extended care. I’m a Dog Daycare worker during the weekdays, so my services may be limited to the afternoon + evenings from Monday-Friday. With dogs, I’m very patient and comfortable with all personalities, including high-energy, excitable, or anxious dogs. I focus on calm and respectful handling and try to help very anxious dogs feel safe by giving them space, approaching slowly, and using gentle reassurance like calm voice and light petting on their side when appropriate. I pay attention to body language and always aim to build trust rather than pressure them into an interaction. If a dog is acting out, I redirect their attention and follow any training or behavior instructions provided by the owner. With cats, I’m used to reading their behavior and giving them the space or attention they want. I understand that many cats are super independent and are protective about their space, but I also enjoy working with affectionate, social cats. I have experience caring for kittens, including feeding and basic hands-on care, as well as senior cats who may need routine medication or any extra attention.

“Dominika took great care of Stella. I would have her walk and care for my dog again. She was attentive, shared lots of pictures, and even went out of her way to text my mom to schedule based on her availability.”

About: I've owned and watched dogs since I was 10 years old. From small puppies, elderly dogs, to dogs huge as a mastiff and small as a chihuahua. Whether they be my own, friends, or families I held dear, being around and caring for dogs have always been a huge part of my life! I've fed them, bathed them, given them medicine, and have always been relable. Currently, I am mostly self-employed & studying for a Real Estate license. I do work mornings at a horse barn, and have a contract gig working occasional weekends with a D&D-styled Bed & Breakfast. Thankfully those shifts are scheduled months in advance and, for barn work, typically wrap up around 11-Noon. :) I'm always willing to give dogs the ample affections and pets they need! I'm super attentive to when they need to go outside/take a walk, have their food right on schedule, have some playtime, or whenever they just geniunely need attention and love. I honestly do it everyday for my own dogs. So I'll have no trouble giving them the same needs I give my precious wee babies.

“Jessica was great! We were not able to schedule a meet & greet ahead of time but she was still able to come in and walk my doggy with no issues and she made the whole process hassle free.”
About: I've cared for dogs of all ages from puppy to senior for multiple years now. I have experience watching dogs of varying sizes and energy levels so I can easily adapt to meet whatever their specific needs are. I value giving pets the care and attention they need in order to be healthy and happy! I work part-time so I have gaps in my schedule that caters well to pet care and I have flexibility to take up side jobs like these. I have two dogs at home and have experience administering different medications as well as experience with crating. I also have a fenced yard and the fence is enforced in addition to avoid digging. In other client's homes, I am respectful of their space and their rules for their pets.
About: I’ve been dog sitting for friends for years. When I purchased my own home one of the dogs I was taking a care of ended up being my dog full time due to circumstances the previous owner wasn’t anticipating. Shortly after after we adopted a pit bull from the shelter and they became best friends. A year later we tried fostering and he fit in the pack so well that we failed and adopted him 3 weeks later. I took a hiatus from Rover to acclimate the newest addition to “being a dog” he had a sad backstory and was learning to be a dog with his brothers. Now that he’s settled in and confidently part of the pack he’s always very excited to spend time with new dogs and often mimicks their behaviors trying to be like them! We’re still working on smaller dogs if in honest. But bigger dogs he seems to love to idolize. I have a lot of love to give. Both a fenced in yard and non fenced in yard and live close to a state park for walks. I do work M-F but welcome dogs all week long. Currently only accepting spayed and neutered dogs for boarding. Asking for 3 days notice but life happens and if I’m available can do same day! I’m currently working full time M-F but as long as your dog is spayed or neutered I have plenty of room for them! I have a finished basement that if they require their own space will be very easy to separate from my dogs if needed. I’m around most weekends and holidays. I have a fenced in yard, a non fenced in yard, 3 dogs to keep your dog company and a closed off finished basement if they need space.
About: I’ve had dogs as a child and well into my adulthood. We, as a family, have never not had to care for an animal at all different stages. We are definitely a dog family. I have enjoyed caring for friend fur babies as well over the years. Overnight stays, snuggles, play time, walking. bathing, light training, medication and care in late stages of life are all many things I experienced the last 30 years of being a pet owner. I am working part time from home and have a lot of flexibility in my schedule to accommodate your schedule and any last minute life changes that may arise. I feel keeping our pet’s happy is about their comfort. Toys, item of clothing with owners sent and not shifting their daily schedule is most important when caring for pets while their owners are away. My goal is to keep them in their daily normalcy of comfort, what ever that looks like for each pet , with a lot of extra love or comfortable space they need. A clients home would be treated with the same respect as my own and left as found.

About: I include daily walks, feeding, playtime, clean-up, overnight stays and much more. Whether you are away for a day or longer, I will be there to give your pet all the love and attention it needs. I have many years of experience dealing with many different types of pets. I am free to be available any days or times during the week. If you need a loving, caring person I am the one!!! About: Our little family (Nathan, Kelly, and our kids) are raising Huck, a 1 year old Yellow Lab. We’ve trained him and are found walking around town with him often. As dog owners, we know how much it means to us when someone we trust is able to watch our dog. Now we want to give the same option to other pet owners. While most of our experience is with dogs, my wife can also cat sit and we also have had a fish in recent years. We are laid back, but also have some active hobbies, such as hiking, kayaking and traveling. We would love to hang out, walk, play, and feed your pup in the comfort of his or her home, or welcome him or her to ours. In addition to Huck, Kelly and I rescued a reactive dog with separation anxiety and had him for several years. I grew up with a mini-Pom and also helped raise a golden retriever from a puppy. We also have many friends with dogs and sit for them frequently. We are very comfortable administering oral medication but since we will be bringing the dog around our family, the dog should not be aggressive or reactive. We are at home most days and we homeschool and work from home for several days throughout the week. We are happy to work with your schedule to support your pet. We love to play with dogs. Our kids have been around dogs since they were very young and love cats as well, although we don’t have one.

About: I believe in offering dog boarding at affordable rates and want my clients to book with me with the confidence that their dog will be welcomed into our family and cared for like they were our own (who we looove. A lot!). If your dog wants to join in on our active routine, they'll get a 1-1.5 mile walk in the morning, an early afternoon free-play romp in the securely fenced yard, another 1-1.5 mile walk around dinner time, and then hanging with the family in the evening. And I am happy to accommodate any of your preferences for their care! I work from home and am able to spend quality time with the dogs throughout the day. The dogs I care for fit into our family routine, which is active and close-knit. I have a fenced yard that gives the dogs plenty of room to run and play, and I have two Australian Shepherds who just love having a pack. Mine sleep in crates overnight and are fed separately. They are also happy to share their toys to help keep your dog occupied!
“Megan took such great care of our dog! She kept us updated with photos throughout our stay and we could see how happy our pup was. Her kids were also so incredibly sweet and gentle with her! Definitely recommend and will absolutely be rebooking when we’re in need of a sitter in this area!”

“Erin and her family are great! Tons of pictures sent throughout our pups stay! Very happy with the level of care and love Honey received! Will definitely schedule another visit!”

“Kathryn and her family did a wonderful job hosting our dog Duke for two weeks. She was flexible, kept us informed of how things were going in a timely manner, and happen to live within walking distance of our house. Highly recommended!”

“Lottie Dotti appears to have had the best time - I know this because she has been sleeping now for the last 24 hrs 😂 played hard!! I appreciate all the photos and videos so I know my baby is doing well and happy. Will definitely use again!!”

“Emily has taken care of my dog twice in the past month or so. Emily is superb in every way. She exceeded my requests for his care and sent me updates and photos to help reassure me that he was doing well. She is a wonderful match for my dog.”

“My Golden had a wonderful 2 week stay with Karen. She sent videos and pictures everyday. Her whole family is so sweet and she has a beautiful property! Will definitely use her in the future.”

“We had a great experience with Nicole taking care of our pug, Memo, for about a week. She was super nice and easy to work with from the start. From the meet and greet, we knew Memo was going to love her. She kept us updated every day on how Memo was doing, and we really like the photos and videos she sent. It really made it a lot easier being away from him. You could tell right away that Memo was comfortable and happy with her and her husband. They treated him like their own and made sure he got plenty of attention and walks. We’d definitely use her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone they can trust with their dog.”
