About: As the proud owners to two wonderful little rescue dogs, a cat, some chickens, guinea fowl, goats and sheep, we know how hard it can be sometimes to find care for your pets and farm animals while you are away. We will provide the same level of care and kindness that I would want and expect for our own spoiled pets. We live on a small farm in rural Western Maryland, about 20 minutes west of Frederick. We have experience with all kinds of animal care, from horses, cows, goats, sheep, and poultry. We are currently able to provide drop-in visits for dogs, cats, and a variety of farm animals, as well as house or farm sitting, and in home boarding, as well as hourly dog park style use of our large fenced yard. Your pets will be a happy addition to our family in our home! My whole property is fenced by 4 ft or taller board and wire fencing, with smaller areas sectioned off in the front and back yards. The driveway is gated and secure. I want your pets to feel as safe as my own. I currently work only at home, tending our farm homestead, and have a flexible schedule. I'm able to drop in one or two times a day, or less or more often, as needed. I treat every animal as if it were my own and provide a level of care that I give my own and that I would expect from my pet care provider.

About: I grew up with big breads and little breads, I have always had a dog. I love being able to run, walk and play with them! Our family dog passed a few years back and I haven’t had the heart yet to adopt a new member into my family, however being able to help others with their fur family, I think would help me with feeling that love again! About: I’ve been dog sitting for friends for years. When I purchased my own home one of the dogs I was taking a care of ended up being my dog full time due to circumstances the previous owner wasn’t anticipating. Shortly after after we adopted a pit bull from the shelter and they became best friends. A year later we tried fostering and he fit in the pack so well that we failed and adopted him 3 weeks later. I took a hiatus from Rover to acclimate the newest addition to “being a dog” he had a sad backstory and was learning to be a dog with his brothers. Now that he’s settled in and confidently part of the pack he’s always very excited to spend time with new dogs and often mimicks their behaviors trying to be like them! We’re still working on smaller dogs if in honest. But bigger dogs he seems to love to idolize. I have a lot of love to give. Both a fenced in yard and non fenced in yard and live close to a state park for walks. I do work M-F but welcome dogs all week long. Currently only accepting spayed and neutered dogs for boarding. Asking for 3 days notice but life happens and if I’m available can do same day! I’m currently working full time M-F but as long as your dog is spayed or neutered I have plenty of room for them! I have a finished basement that if they require their own space will be very easy to separate from my dogs if needed. I’m around most weekends and holidays. I have a fenced in yard, a non fenced in yard, 3 dogs to keep your dog company and a closed off finished basement if they need space.
About: I’ve had dogs as a child and well into my adulthood. We, as a family, have never not had to care for an animal at all different stages. We are definitely a dog family. I have enjoyed caring for friend fur babies as well over the years. Overnight stays, snuggles, play time, walking. bathing, light training, medication and care in late stages of life are all many things I experienced the last 30 years of being a pet owner. I am working part time from home and have a lot of flexibility in my schedule to accommodate your schedule and any last minute life changes that may arise. I feel keeping our pet’s happy is about their comfort. Toys, item of clothing with owners sent and not shifting their daily schedule is most important when caring for pets while their owners are away. My goal is to keep them in their daily normalcy of comfort, what ever that looks like for each pet , with a lot of extra love or comfortable space they need. A clients home would be treated with the same respect as my own and left as found.
About: I include daily walks, feeding, playtime, clean-up, overnight stays and much more. Whether you are away for a day or longer, I will be there to give your pet all the love and attention it needs. I have many years of experience dealing with many different types of pets. About: Our little family (Nathan, Kelly, and our kids) are raising Huck, a 1 year old Yellow Lab. We’ve trained him and are found walking around town with him often. As dog owners, we know how much it means to us when someone we trust is able to watch our dog. Now we want to give the same option to other pet owners. While most of our experience is with dogs, my wife can also cat sit and we also have had a fish in recent years. We are laid back, but also have some active hobbies, such as hiking, kayaking and traveling. We would love to hang out, walk, play, and feed your pup in the comfort of his or her home, or welcome him or her to ours. In addition to Huck, Kelly and I rescued a reactive dog with separation anxiety and had him for several years. I grew up with a mini-Pom and also helped raise a golden retriever from a puppy. We also have many friends with dogs and sit for them frequently. We are very comfortable administering oral medication but since we will be bringing the dog around our family, the dog should not be aggressive or reactive. We are at home most days and we homeschool and work from home for several days throughout the week. We are happy to work with your schedule to support your pet. We love to play with dogs. Our kids have been around dogs since they were very young and love cats as well, although we don’t have one.

About: I believe in offering dog boarding at affordable rates and want my clients to book with me with the confidence that their dog will be welcomed into our family and cared for like they were our own (who we looove. A lot!). If your dog wants to join in on our active routine, they'll get a 1-1.5 mile walk in the morning, an early afternoon free-play romp in the securely fenced yard, another 1-1.5 mile walk around dinner time, and then hanging with the family in the evening. And I am happy to accommodate any of your preferences for their care! I work from home and am able to spend quality time with the dogs throughout the day. The dogs I care for fit into our family routine, which is active and close-knit. I have a fenced yard that gives the dogs plenty of room to run and play, and I have two Australian Shepherds who just love having a pack. Mine sleep in crates overnight and are fed separately. They are also happy to share their toys to help keep your dog occupied!

“Olivia was great with my lab Daisy! Daisy has exhibited separation anxiety in the past when I have been gone for a while but Olivia was very patient with her. She has 2 small dogs of her own which probably helped too. She was very flexible with drop off and pick up times as well. Also she did a good job of keeping me up to date by daily sending me pictures and videos. All in all I would definitely recommend Olivia for all your dog sitting needs.”

“We recently moved to NOVA from Midlothian and had to find a new Rover Ally to watch our 2 sweet Goldens- We used someone who lived in the same town and it did not go well at all so we were very nervous about leaving them again with anyone else. I can hands down say this was one of our best Rover experiences ever!! Joel and Janelle have a beautiful place with a large grassy fenced yard! They sent periodic incredible “action” pictures and our Goldens did not seemed stressed at all when we picked them up. We are looking forward to our stay with them early next month.”
