“We have the ultimate scaredy-cat and he actually came out of hiding each day that Nikki was here! He seemed happy and content when we got home. We were very happy with Nikki and will definitely have her come again!”

“This was our first time hiring a Rover caregiver for our two cats. Becky R. is so awesome! We were thoroughly pleased and impressed with her attentive care for our two cats. She sent lots of photos and gave us wonderful details about her visits with our cats, which gave us peace of mind while vacationing. Our cats warmed up to Becki right away, and they and Becki were wonderfully affectionate toward each other. Made us so happy! We are already booking Becky for our next getaway.😃”

“Incredibly reliable!!! We were hesitant to use a pet sitter as we normally travel with our furbabies but we found Shelby and she was absolutely fantastic! Her communication was prompt which was huge for me. She was punctual and completed the tasks she said she would. Shelby eased my mind as I knew the furbabies were in good hands. I would highly recommend Shelby! We will definitely use her in the future. Thank you Shelby.”

“Marilla did a great job taking care of my kitty when I was away for a week. She did her best to make friends with a very shy cat, which I greatly appreciated!”

“Daniel was professional, courteous and took good care of my cat while I was away. I appreciated the video uploads so that I could actually see some activity happening. I recommend Daniel and will use him again”

About: I often take care of my mom’s senior dog. He requires a lot of attention due to his health and getting around. I love to be an assistant to him. I work from home on Mondays and Fridays and I am often free during the weekends. I can make sure I have enough time available for any of your needs. I live in a pet friendly apartment. I don’t live near any busy streets and can take a dog on a nice stroll around my neighborhood. I can keep animals in crates, if requested.

“This was our first time using Rover. We would definitely have Becky take care of our cats again. She did a wonderful job of communicating with us and took great care of the cats while we were gone. Thanks Becky for a job well done!”

About: I started caring for animals at a young age. Walking, medicating, cleaning and spending time with them. I really love spending one on one time with any pet! I work at 11am M,W,Th,F so am available anytime before 11 those days & then anytime on T,S,Su! I am also available most holidays, I try to have a flexible schedule. I have a golden retriever named Mobi and a Tabby cat named tiger. I clean tigers litter box while maintaining his diet. As for Mobi I feed him, talk to Him, sit outside with him and walk him.

“Suzi A is great. I left detailed notes about a couple issues and she acted and reported on both completely. You'll love her daily reports and pictures - warm and personal. Totally assures me that Bogey is in great hands! Chris M”

“Kristina took care of everything I needed for my 2 cats for 5 days. One wanted attention, one wanted to be left alone and both needed sandbox cleaning, food & water. After 5 days, I returned to my house & cats - and they both greeted me like I'd just been out to the store. Thank you, Kristina for helping to make my trip worry-free and giving Peanut & Alice reassurance that "most things" were the same!”

About: I absolutely love dogs and all animals! I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life and have cared for everything from puppies to seniors, both big and small. I am available for dog walks a couple times throughout the week days or weekends. I work from home and have a fairly flexible schedule, so I can adjust to accommodate your pup’s needs. We can work together on a schedule to make sure your pup gets out for potty breaks and walks. At home, I have a 7-year old English Bulldog who gets along with all dogs (she is quite a character) and I have a 6-year old Great Pyrenees who adores meeting other furry friends (except non-neutered males). We have a large backyard and live on a lake, so the dogs love to play in the yard (but we do not have a fence so I do walk my Great Pyrenees on a leash when he goes outside since he’s a wanderer). We do offer doggy day care on occasion as well. If your dog prefers a leash then I can certainly walk him/her on a leash for play time as well. :) The dogs really enjoy the view from the floor-to-ceiling windows looking outside while laying on their cozy beds indoors as well… they are our neighborhood watch crew :) . I can’t wait to meet you and your pup! I invite you and your pup to come by for a meet and greet any day of the week if being considered for doggie day care. I’m also more than happy to provide references as well. I work from home and my schedule is flexible, so I can work around your pet’s needs. I’m happy to accommodate meet and greets after work hours and on weekends as well. I can typically offer up to two dog walks per day (possibly 3) if I’m coming to your home to dog walk. The main floor of my house is all hard wood floors in the kitchen, living room, foyer, and dining room… so the dogs have free range access all day and they have floor to ceiling windows to see out the backyard to watch out over the lake which they seem to enjoy (lots of birds, fish, and squirrels to watch all day). I am also happy to take your dog on walks if you’d like (my Great Pyrenees goes on at least 2-3 walks per day, but our bulldog is a bit more lazy so she doesn’t always feel like walking if it’s too hot outside). We also have a large yard for play time. :) If I’m walking your dog at your home, please provide your preferred instructions and I’m happy to accommodate. I also love to provide updates with photos so you can rest assured that your pup is well cared for when you’re away.

“Jes is Amazing! We wholeheartedly recommend her for your dog's vacay. She made our dog, Hunter, comfortable right away, and we when picked him up at the end of the week, it was obvious that he had a great time and made new friends. Thank You, Jes! Sandi and John”

About: Have owned all types of animals all my life and grown up with them. Always ready to meet a new friend and establish new animal relationships I work an 8-5 job with an hour lunch break. I can follow strict schedules and maintain flexibility. I can accommodate special needs. I am home most nights and weekends. missed pick up times may be subject to an additional 50 dollar fee and rescheduling of pick up I can provide love and care to your pet and a comforting environment. Playing with them and marking sure they are happy and healthy in different settings

“Tegra is super sweet and I immediately felt comfortable into our home and trusting her with our little rascal Kitty cat. Assuming she accepts I'll happily use her services again!”

“I was so lucky to come across Perseus. I mainly chose him because Perseus had no other animals in the house so my 18-year-old sweet kitty could have the entire peaceful house to himself. In addition, Perseus’ home has a lot of natural light - a bay window for my kitty to curl up for a cat nap, and a large sliding patio door for my sweet boy to look out and watch all the squirrels and birds (which he loves). While I was on vacation, at least every other day (if not more), Perseus sent me pictures/videos of my cat – lounging comfortably in one of his cat beds, jumping on Perseus’ lap for a chin scratch, an action shot of my kitty playing with a new toy Perseus purchased for him, a picture of my kitty cuddling up on Perseus’ bed at night, or a video of Perseus singing my kitty a lullaby. It gave me so much comfort to know my sweet, old man was at ease. I’ve never felt more comfortable leaving my beloved cat to someone I didn’t really know (Perseus and I did do a “house visit” before I went on vacation). I honestly believe Perseus gave my kitty as much love and attention as I would have if I was home.”

Brown Deer cat parents share their Rover experiences
Kristina took care of our shy cat for the first time this past weekend. It's not easy to care for an animal that would rather hide from you than interact, and Kristina dealt with her well. She was friendly, came over when promised, and cared for Sophie and our house well.
