About: I have been caring for and walking dogs for several years now, they are my greatest pride, all my friends, acquaintances, and family trust me completely to leave them under my care and protection, I would be proud to take care of yours too. I am home every day, so I have plenty of time to walk and play with your pet. I am also available to provide boarding on weekends, should you need it. I have a large house, a super large and cozy patio, where your pet can feel safe to play, or if they prefer to be inside, no problem, they can be on the sofa, or rest in their carrier if they wish

“Robin was amazing when it came to working with our schedules. We had very late pick up times and also had to change the time on her a couple of times but she was very flexible and understanding. I hadn't thought about bringing food because I didn't think we would be out that late, but she was kind enough to give our dogs some food also for the night. We will definitely be going back! She was very sweet and her home was a great environment for our fur babies! We even got treats as we picked up the dogs! I would highly highly recommend her! We definitely will be going back!”

“Amy and Peter took amazing care of my dog while I was away! They are truly great Rover hosts — friendly, reliable, and clearly passionate about dogs. My pup had such a great time playing with their dogs, Cooper and Riley, and loved having access to their huge yard to run around and explore. Amy and Peter kept me updated with plenty of pictures and messages, which gave me real peace of mind. I could tell my dog was happy and well cared for the entire time. Highly recommended!”

“Katherine was amazing with our golden retriever Duke! I loved her availability to squeeze us in last minute so Duke wouldn’t have to be alone during a thunderstorm. She took such good care of him all day, and he never even showed her the typical signs of thunderstorm anxiety he shows us. She’s a gem, and we love having somebody nearby that will care for him the way we do when we are out of town!”

“Teddy had an amazing time staying with Liying! I had peace of mind the entire time I was gone that Teddy was being loved and taken care of. They sent us photos and videos everyday so I got to see first hand how Teddy was settling in! We had a great experience and Teddy will definitely be back to stay!”

“Bo was amazing with my dog! He kept me updated the whole time, followed all my instructions, and made sure my pup was happy and cared for. Super friendly and definitely someone I’d trust again!”

“Daniel and Kristy were amazing. They kept your girls for 5 weeks and they stayed in contact, kept us updated in everything happening, and were flexible when we needed to extend our stay. Highly recommend them to anyone in the Katy/Richmond area looking for reliable, experienced pet sitters.”

“We left our pup with Frit twice now when we visit family in Houston. She is very responsible and easy to work with! We know Saint is in good hands with her. Thanks, Frit.”

“Archie was very well taken care of and we were very happy knowing that! Our trip was much nicer knowing Archie was in great hands. We got photos every day and saw how Archie was cuddled and played with his host dog Milo. Thank you Besima for a great care.”

“Had a great experience! I booked for 4 days but my flight got delayed and she worked with me on adding another day! She took pictures/videos throughout the stay! Highly recommend”

“The whole family travelled to chicago, the reason why we left oreo to rover sitter. The first sitter gave up as per her our oreo is aggressive. And she want us to take oreo asap which is impossible to us. But, i think the reason my oreo got anxious is their are another dogs came the next day which is he is not use to it. On his first day, he is doing good. Rover helped me look for another sitter which is i appreciate. As the first sitter even told me they will ask shelter people to take our dog. But rover did their best and found sheila. Our oreo is doing good on the stay and care with sheila. I recommend sheila if you have a big dogs and is a kind of zealous or not use to be along with other pet. Her house is clean and backyard is big.”

“Kristina was great with our dog! We got updates during the stay along with photos, and he was well taken care of! We would highly recommend her and would book her again!”

“Janis did/does a wonderful job with Banjo and Bentley. They are very comfortable there and are treated like family. I always get pictures and updates and don’t have to worry at all when we are away. Thankful that she has been available when we need a place for the pups.”

“Cindy was great with Emmett! She kept him active and entertained. She was very responsive to texts and messages and sent me pictures from Emmett's stay. Overall, she was a great sitter!”

“This is the first time I dropped my dog off with Piyaon. She allowed me to meet with her ahead of time and immediately I felt like Charli would be in great hands. She was very loving and attentive to my dog. Upon request, she took her on several walks and made time for lots of playing. She even let her sleep where she would like, so Charli would feel the most comfortable. She was excellent with communication while we were away and sent lots of photos. When needed again in the future, we will definitely be using Piyaon again.”

Whether you’re planning ahead for holidays, need last-minute care, or need same-day coverage for an urgent trip, you can message multiple sitters at once to find available care.
Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.
If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poop breaks occurred. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.
The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
