On weekends, we are usually out for no more than 4 hours at a time and rarely more than 8 hours in one stretch. We do not allow pets in our care outside the boundaries of our home. They are only allowed inside the house and in our backyard. We have a very spacious home, so your furbaby will have plenty of room to feel comfortable and make themselves at home. The common areas have wood-look tile flooring and are vacuumed daily. We also have a large backyard that is regularly maintained, with plenty of space for your furbaby to run around and play.

We got them both when they were puppies and cared for them all the way into their seniorhood so I have experience taking care of puppies as well as elderly dogs. If at your house, it will just depend on the day/time and if I’m able to work from there. If I can I can just bring my laptop but if I can’t, it will need to be in the evening when I am clicked out. At my house, our dogs were mainly inside dogs so they were with me the majority of the day and anytime they needed to go out we let them. I will follow whatever feeding schedule needed; my dog’s food ranged from solid to soft food (our older dog had some teeth extracted and didn’t have many left) or a mix of both so I’m comfortable giving either. Water is usually always out for them to get when they needed it. Our smaller dog was allowed on the couch and bed and our bigger dog was only allowed on the couches here and there but was allowed on the bed. We did not crate them but I am familiar with crating. For other places, I will follow whatever routines/rules requested.

If they are typically kenneled, I do have one additional XL dog kennel on hand, but they are also free to roam if that is what you prefer. Potty breaks are frequent, and additional walks can be completed upon request. Our typical route is a one-mile loop from my home to a nearby man-made lake. My home has a fully fenced-in backyard, and kennels are available upon request. Your fur baby will have plenty of attention from my dogs, Piper and Marcus, or my cats, Meech and Moon. Walks are only complete on leash to ensure your pet does not elope. We do have children in the home, but they have been raised around animals and know the importance of respecting your pet's boundaries.
