Our dog is very shy and takes a while to warm up around people he doesn’t know, so we weren’t sure about leaving him with an in-home pet sitter at first. But Dawn was so patient and committed to building trust with him, giving Pretzel the care and attention he needed. Even though he was a sulky boy, he was so much less stressed with Dawn there, and my family and I got to have a stress-free vacation in return. About: We love meeting new dogs and making them feel at home, taking them for walks and playing, or just hanging out on the couch together. We are happy to accommodate any special needs your pet may have. My spouse and I work remotely and and are able to devote time throughout the week and weekend to give your pet potty breaks, walks, and tons of attention to fully spoil them. We have a fully enclosed backyard with plenty of shade and sun for play and potty breaks. We have a dog of our own who can keep yours company or who can easily be kept separate in my large home. We can provide as many photos and updates as you would like, and we are happy to ensure all pet rules and routines are followed. Walks are always at the appropriate speed and length for the breed and age of your dog.

Jax (8-year-old Pitbull) took to her immediately, and he's very discerning. ;-) Katherine went the extra mile and stayed with him while our home was under construction (for a remodel). She kept Jax on his schedule, administered his necessary medications, and ensured he took all his daily walks. I felt very comfortable leaving Jax and my house under her supervision, and it all went very well. I highly recommend Katherine!”

I currently have a flexible schedule and can do drop in visits, overnight visits, and dog walking! Right when I walk in the door, I’ll say hi and give the animal attention if they want it. I read the room to see if it will be a cheerful introduction or a more mellow hello. I make sure that all their needs are taken care of and that they get extra love before I go! I play ball and go on walks for fun exercise with the dogs! I play with cats and love on them too! I also know about animal behavior from past jobs and volunteer puppy raising for future service dogs, so I understand when an animal needs a break or a boundary made- with me or others.
