About: We are a family of animal lovers. We have a 10-year old Husky mix and an 11-year old long haired cat (but both stay in other parts of the house). Every time we go away we struggle to find trustworthy people to care for our pets and decided we want to help others in need. I work from home and my office is in the petsitting area so I get to spend all day with the pets and take care of anything they need. Our finished basement is sectioned off from the rest of the house and the pets have ample space to play inside, as well as a 1/2 acre fenced-in yard for their exercise!

About: I’ve had my dog, Wicket — an 8 lb Yorkie/Maltese rescue — for 8 years, and before that, I regularly cared for friends’ and acquaintances’ dogs. Over time, I’ve gotten experience with all kinds of personalities: easygoing companions, high-energy pups, and reactive dogs who need extra patience and understanding. I truly enjoy being around dogs — probably more than people. I take the time to figure out what makes each one comfortable and happy, whether that’s a long walk, a game of fetch, or simply sharing the couch. I’m comfortable with leash handling, sticking to routines, and giving medication if needed. You’ll get regular updates and photos so you know your dog is safe, happy, and well cared for until you’re home. I’m home most of the time, so I can give pets plenty of attention and keep to their usual routines. Walks, feedings, playtime, and check-ins can happen whenever they’re needed, and I can be flexible with timing — including mornings, evenings, and weekends. I live in a pet-friendly home with my own small dog, Wicket, who’s 8 lbs and friendly with other dogs once introduced. I don’t have a fenced yard, but I make sure all walks are on-leash and safe. At home, dogs have access to cozy spots for resting and plenty of supervised time with me. I can easily crate your dog if needed and will follow any rules or routines you have in place. When I’m in your home, I keep things just the way your pet is used to — same feeding times, same walking routes, and the same comfy spots they love. I’m careful about keeping doors and gates secure and always check that they’re settled before I leave.

About: Being a former mom to a Yorkshire Terrier, I understand the love and attention dogs need. I'm willing to make your dog feel comfortable, safe and entertained in whatever way unique to them. I find personal joy and relaxation in playing, walking and giving calming massages and belly rubs. Rooted in my own concern with safety for my own dog, I pay very close attention to detail when it comes to dogs including closely monitoring what they ingest as well as the environment in which they play. I'm a nurturer by nature, so I look forward to all of the doggie affection coming my way! Cats are welcome- I will love and care for your feline friends just the same! I am willing to care for and/or board more than one pet from the same household upon request. I'm available 7 days a week, late afternoons and evenings Monday through Friday and all day Saturday and Sunday. I look forward to each day knowing that I will be able to connect and provide care with your pet during my afternoons and evenings, Monday through Friday from 3 pm and beyond (all hours Saturday/Sunday), although I'm extremely flexible and willing to travel! I'm available everyday, (including weekends and holidays) all hours in July & August. As a former dog mom, I'm super vigilant and take all safety precautions to keep pets safe including keeping a clean, obstruction-free space and implementing any requests you feel will keep your pet even more safe. I only use products, toys, treats and food approved by the owner. I myself have a sensitive nose, so my space is fragrance free in case your pet has allergies.

This experience has given me a strong understanding of animal behavior, health, and safety—especially when it comes to cats and dogs. Whether your pet needs basic care, medication, or just a little extra patience and love, I’m confident in handling it all with professionalism and compassion! If any families have a scaly companion, I also have experience with snakes and lizards! My schedule is pretty flexible. I do work but I am available most mornings and evenings after 5 pm. I am available on weekends ! Sticking to your pets feeding/walking schedule. Making sure pet always has access to fresh water and their favorite toys. Engaging in playful activities with your pet. Maintaining cleanliness in clients home and pets hygiene. Other house chores such as watering plants and retrieving mail if client is on vacation. Maintaining frequent contact through text/call and photos ensuring pet is safe and doing well. I have my own vehicle in case there is ever an emergency and pet needs to be driven to vet as well as emergency hospital information in my phone.

About: I grew up caring for our 2 rottweilers, pug, and 3 frisky cats. I am competent with all pets, big or small. I also have volunteer experience at a veterinary hospital and completed an extracurricular veterinary program at Tufts. I am just out of college and currently unemployed, so I have lots of time and energy to take care of your pets. I am available most hours of the day, weekdays and weekends. I have leashes, food bowls, beds, toys, and all other supplies to make your pet safe and comfortable in my home. I am also comfortable attending to your pet in your home per your service requests.
