About: I grew up with two amazing dogs—one is now 17 and the other is a playful 4-year-old—so I’ve cared for pups at every stage of life. From energetic walks to gentle senior care, I understand what dogs need to feel happy, safe, and loved. Whether it’s belly rubs, fetch, or sticking to their routine, I’m here to make sure your dog feels right at home. During the summer, I have a very flexible schedule which allows me to dedicate plenty of time to pet care. I'm available Monday through Friday. I am happy to spend quality time with your pet, whether that means walks, playtime, or just keeping them company. I make sure any cat or dog that I am caring for is getting fed their daily amount, they have gone on walks or used the bathroom (cleaning the litter daily if it’s cats), they get plenty of water, and make sure they get plenty of stimulation through play time.

“Mark has been awesome with Chance. My work hours changed and Marks walks with Chance give him the fresh air and exercise he loves so much. Mark has been very flexible with my requests when my schedule changes. I know Chance appreciates the attention!”

About: I will take care of your dog or cat like they are my own. I currently have an almost 3 year old Bernedoodle who I trained myself when she was a puppy. My love of animals started when I was 5 years old and I got my first dog. He came home in a shoebox and grew into 90lbs of German Shepherd that was gentle as could be with his little girl. Throughout the years I had several types of animals from hamsters to lizards I don't think I was ever without a pet! Let me be there for your pets, we will have a lot of fun! I run my own business so my hours are extremely flexible. I am able to take same day appointments with just a few hours notice if needed. This flexibility allows me to take care of puppies as well. Whether your dog is a cuddle bug or one that loves to run I am the sitter for you. I can keep them on their normal schedules while watching your dog and maybe throw in an extra walk or play time! I am great at following directions to make sure my time with them goes smoothly.

About: Hey Pet Parents! My name is Shea and I’m super glad you’re considering me to watch your fur babies while you’re away! I’ve been around animals for as long as I can remember and I’ve been pet sitting for quite some time now. I myself have a 5 year old Australian Cattle Dog, a Green Cheek Conure, and a handful of chickens too! I’ve also had experience working in a pet grooming salon, where I gained extensive knowledge on signs of stress in animals as well as first-aid. I understand all pets have different needs and I’m able to take the time to get to know them and adapt to help them feel safe while you’re away! Nobody is more prepared than I am to care for your little buddies! My schedule is very flexible. I pet sit full-time and I keep my Rover schedule up to date daily! That being said, I do only accept bookings after doing a meet and greet to ensure all parties (especially your pets!) feel as comfortable as possible during the booking. I will follow any instructions left for me about your pet closely! Please let me know of any specific parts of their routine you would like me to continue during our booking. I’m here to make your pet (and you!) feel as stress-free as possible. I also understand your privacy is important, I’ll do everything in my power to make you feel safe to welcome me in your home while you’re away :) *** Dog walks only: please note that during the summer, if it is too hot outside, walks will be shortened. I will still stay the full amount of time booked, it just will not be outside the whole time. I’ll replace the remaining walk time with play time and pets! I will still take the pups outside to use the bathroom, but for their safety I will limit time outside in extreme weather. Please feel free to let me know if you have any questions regarding this!

“Samantha goes above and beyond with our sweet Lily. She is extremely gifted with animals and has academic expertise with various animal groups. She is diligent and professional. We are so lucky to have her support.”

“Amber is great! Charlie is usually shy when he meets a new person, but he warmed up to her right away! She took him on a nice, long walk and sent great pictures. I feel confident using her routinely going forward! 10/10!”

About: Hi! I’m Megan, a lifelong dog lover based in Manchester and South Windsor, Connecticut. I had the joy of caring for my amazing Pittie—Samantha—for 13 years. She was my shadow, my jogging buddy, and my heart. Through her, I gained hands-on experience with leash training, handling strong breeds, and recognizing subtle behavior cues that helped her feel safe and loved in every situation. I offer house sitting for pet parents who want peace of mind while they’re away. I keep your pets comfortable in their home environment and maintain routines so everything feels familiar and safe. I know how important it is to trust someone with your dog—and I treat every pup I meet with the same love, patience, and respect I gave to Samantha. In addition to house sitting, I offer drop-in visits and walks with your dogs. You can expect me to maintain your home with the same care I’d give my own. I’m happy to keep things neat, water plants, bring in mail, and make sure everything feels just the way you left it. I’m calm, dependable, and genuinely love spending time with animals. I’m happy to send photo updates after every walk, drop-in, or overnight stay so you can stay connected with your fur baby while you’re away. What You Can Expect: ✅ One-on-one attention & personalized care ✅ Experience with large breeds & strong pullers ✅ Patience with shy or reactive pups ✅ Clean-up, water refresh, and playtime included ✅ Photo & text updates after every visit ✅ Respectful care of your home during house sitting ✅ Sticking to your pet’s routine for meals, meds, and rest ✅ Light household tasks like mail pickup, plant watering, and tidying up ✅ Overnight presence to keep your pets company Let’s set up a meet & greet—I’d love to learn more about your pup and how I can help! I currently work part time so I have plenty of time to watch your furry friends. Would prefer advance notice to make sure it is a good fit and everything works out! I will try my best to work around your schedule. I can watch your pups in your home preferred as I live in an apartment that doesn’t allow dogs. I can watch cats in my home depending, would love to chat to hear more!

About: I have been around all types of pets my entire life. I’ve taken care of dogs from Newfoundland’s to chihuahuas. I’m great with pets and have been responsible for cleaning, feeding, walking, and playing with lots and lots of dogs. I am a big animal person and want to do something with it in the future. In my childhood I would go to my aunts house often to take care of her 5 Newfoundland’s and bulldog. I would take my sisters chihuahua to the mountains of Colorado. Every nearby neighborhood I grew up by as a child knew me for my exceptional dog care and would want me to walk and dog sit for them all the time. It comes natural for someone when it is what they really love to do. I am currently self employed so I can make time or move my schedule around to accommodate your pets schedule needs. Open availability for right now. I give my cat lots of love and affection. I also take care of proper feeding and cleaning. Lots of experience feeding and walking dogs as well.

“We have a 5 year old male, high energy, German Shepherd. Mac weighs 115 lbs. and over the years we have struggled to find a dog walker that is confident enough to walk him. Shea M.Star Sitter
“Shea is an amazing and thoughtful person and pet parent herself. While I haven't seen first hand how she handles animals at work I have had the pleasure of seeing how she takes care of her own pets. She is loving and caring and so patient with her dogs and birds. She is sweet and always wants to spend time with them. She's always thinking of what to get them for Christmas or another holiday, probably more than she even thinks about what to get people. She's loving and sweet and there is nobody I would trust more around animals.”
