About: I started taking care of neighbors' and friends' dogs, cats, fish, hamsters and birds when I was 14 years old. I love animals and wildlife of all kinds. I have been a cat and dog mom for 28 years and have had 2 leash and dog-reactive dogs (strong, 60 pound+ mutt and pit bull) so I am experienced in dealing with these situations. I have strong situational awareness with my head on a swivel when walking dogs. My senior kitty required specialized medical care at the end of her life with daily prescription medication and subcutaneous fluids. I have volunteered as a dog walker and cat snuggler at Friends of Homeless Animals rescue. I have been a social worker for 30 years and am nearing retirement from full-time employment. I would love to use my love of animals to continue working as a pet-sitter and dog walker. I am very organized, detail-oriented and will care for your pet as I care for my own. I would love to meet you and your pets to see how I can be of service. I currently work full-time Monday through Friday but am retiring at the end of September. My weekends are currently free. I have some flexibility in my weekday schedule so I may be available on a case-by-case basis for weekday dog walks that are in western Loudoun County and within a 10 minute drive of my home. I will care for your pet in your home so that they will be the most comfortable. I am available for overnight stays to keep your pet company and to provide close supervision, lots of TLC, food, water, potty breaks and anything else you may need. I am a non-smoker and non-drinker. I am very detail-oriented, responsible and dependable. As a bit of an overprotective dog mom, I have needed to entrust my dog's care to a pet sitter. My dog is my world. So I know just how valuable trust, dependability and attention to detail are. What matters to you matters to me. I will follow your instructions down to the smallest detail. I will be diligent in communicating with you, sending regular updates and photos of your pet so that you know they are safe and happy in my care.

About: Hi, I'm restarting my animal care business. I want to ensure a stimulated experience with a swift pace and consistent disciplined walking style of what I like to refer to as "nose to toes," where the dogs stay no further than my toe, to my sides, or behind me. I also have experience with aggressive dog behavior, so if a single walk is necessary, I can do that. I have been in the animal care business for as long as I can remember, and I know Fairlington very well since I grew up here. I now live in Harper's Ferry in West Virginia. I will be able to track my walks with a phone app that will track your dog's walking pace, distance traveled, and the route we take. I usually do pack walks of 3-5 dogs depending on size, but I can do singles if needed. I'm also able to cat-sit/dog-sit and care for exotics and birds (no insects). I'm flexible because I have my own cleaning/organizing/declutter business. I wake up however early dog might need be let out or pet given meds, and give at least 3 long 30min-hour walks depending on the energy level and few let outs throught the day if needed for young pups or older if bladder is sensitive. Plenty of loves and can work on training or stimulated play time with toys and puzzles. I will be professional and not have any guests over ever, and always keep doors locked when not there and if plants need care I can help with watering. I have 4 animals myself so it's pretty automatic to just add another pet cuz I've cared for multiple animals at a time or drop in visits when needed throughout my day. Whatever the fmaily requests for schedule when to feed, medicate(if needed), amount of walks and play time needed to make sure they're healthy and stimulated. Whenever they're ready for bed, crate if needed requested by parents, and make sure they go outside(dogs) to ensure no accidents throughout the night. I give them just as much love and attention and play as my own. And feed round same schedule unless instructed otherwise. Giving exercise and play time when needed. And kept to routine of crating if owners instruct.

About: I have had a disabled dog of my own since I was 8, he has seizures frequently. I also have dog sat for my neighbor on multiple occasions, of which was very large, required medication, and emotional support for her anxiety. I work part time at a restaurant so I have more than enough time to provide high quality and detailed care to your furry family members. If I work, they're typically nights, so I am more available during the day or after I get off work to do some final check ins with the pets before bed. As the care would only happen in your home, I take great pride in leaving the home better than I found it and ensuring your pets health, comfortability, and safety with the information and materials provided to me.

Typically, my pet care usually takes place in the afternoons or evening. However, I always like to keep a flexible schedule so I can make it work for your furry friend! About: I've lived with dogs since I was born, being able to responsibly care for them even as a kid. I've taken care of the dogs of my neighbor and family friends plenty of times, but even when I'm home I always do the same job. Walk/run, play, feed, water, medicate. Whether it's a grapefruit sized chihuahua or a polar bear sized pyrenees, I've got you covered. Whether they're energetic, shy, or old, I'm here for them all the same. I'll be a junior at Kent State University this fall and I'm looking for work this summer from 5/11 to 8/17. I'm a college student with no part or full time summer job, my availability is always up for discussion whether it's the morning, afternoon, or multiple overnight stays. If I agree to a job, I'm going to come through and finish it. You won't see me flaking out on an opportunity to see dogs. So long as I have a rundown of what I need to do and where everything I need to complete the job is, you can count on me to respect your home and your family. Dogs are always family, they deserve to be treated as such. I'll be sure to write down specific rules about crating or separating multiple dogs when feeding you might have if you haven't written them for me.

About: Ever since I was a child, I have loved animals and taking care of them has always come naturally to me. I give attentive, affectionate, and thorough care to all animals I am given the pleasure of working with! I have had a senior dog in the past, so administering medications to a pet is a task I am comfortable with and accustomed to. I am passionate about caring for and working with animals, dogs, cats, and otherwise, and I hope to be able to care for yours soon! I am a recent college graduate, so I have a decent amount of time during the day and evenings to watch, play, and take care of your pets! Weekends before 4:00pm and weekdays before 6:30 work best for me, but I am also available some other times depending on when you need me. I have had many dogs with various energy level and various health conditions. I am more than comfortable providing high energy walks, low energy snuggles, and administering various medications if necessary. I am also more than comfortable giving plenty of love, treats, and head scratchies to your pets on request!

About: My whole life we had cats and dogs. I have house sat for neighbors and friends with pets since I was ten years old. I currently own a rabbit. I have also cared for all kinds of rodents, fish, and reptiles. I have trained puppies and kittens and a bunny. I also cared for my older dachshund and gave him shots and necessary medications. I work part time teaching yoga throughout the week and have lots of availability. I only have custody of my kids every other week making my week without them a great time for extra hours and house sitting. I keep pets from being hungry, thirsty, or bored. I keep pets nicely groomed and their areas and things nicely cleaned. I offer direct focus and affection. I can walk or run with dogs. I love doing yoga on the floor and watching cats or my rabbit climb all over me and get affection.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, guinea pigs and hamsters. I grew up with dogs of all shapes and sizes, spanning from a bully mix, to an Alaskan malamute, to black labs, and Chihuahuas too! Getting to know each animal individually, and getting to know their quirks and personalities is the best part! I currently work eight hours a day seven days a week. I can be there to pet sit in the evenings or let dogs out on potty breaks in the early morning or sometime past 5:30 PM. I can spend up to three hours with your pup for drop ins, and of course I would give all of my attention for the 8+ hours I would be there to pet sit. I follow any and all instructions given to me by pet owners. I’ve spent a long time getting to know, body language, and social cues from dogs. I will never push their boundaries.
