“We recently moved to NOVA from Midlothian and had to find a new Rover Ally to watch our 2 sweet Goldens- We used someone who lived in the same town and it did not go well at all so we were very nervous about leaving them again with anyone else. About: I have always had a pet in my house since the day I was born. Mostly dogs, but I have also had other smaller pets. I now have one 12 year old chocolate lab and one 6 year old black lab that I take care of everyday. Because of this I have experience with puppies and older dogs, along with dealing with more than one pet at a time. I currently have school from 10:30-2:15 but I am free anytime before then and after that. I also am available almost every weekend if needed. I have a fenced in yard with a doggy door to get outside and two friendly dogs to keep your pet company. I love to take my pets on walks or just play with them in the house or yard.

I take my aon to school at 7:20, i would be available directly after that until 1:30 or 2 depending on where you live. Then Im available from 3-7. Every morning I feel my dogs and then walk them around our property. Then, I feed the kitty who is usually meowing loudly at me. Then, I scoop her box. She likes it if I scoop her box several times a day. The dogs are fed twice a day, and walked several times. My Dad or I will walk our younger dog Molly around the neighborhood or on the Appalachian trail. Dinner for the dogs is at 7pm and "last pee" is before bedtime (usually 10).

About: Our little family (Nathan, Kelly, and our kids) are raising Huck, a 1 year old Yellow Lab. We’ve trained him and are found walking around town with him often. As dog owners, we know how much it means to us when someone we trust is able to watch our dog. Now we want to give the same option to other pet owners. While most of our experience is with dogs, my wife can also cat sit and we also have had a fish in recent years. We are laid back, but also have some active hobbies, such as hiking, kayaking and traveling. We would love to hang out, walk, play, and feed your pup in the comfort of his or her home, or welcome him or her to ours. In addition to Huck, Kelly and I rescued a reactive dog with separation anxiety and had him for several years. I grew up with a mini-Pom and also helped raise a golden retriever from a puppy. We also have many friends with dogs and sit for them frequently. We are very comfortable administering oral medication but since we will be bringing the dog around our family, the dog should not be aggressive or reactive. We are at home most days and we homeschool and work from home for several days throughout the week. We are happy to work with your schedule to support your pet. We love to play with dogs. Our kids have been around dogs since they were very young and love cats as well, although we don’t have one.
About: I’ve taken care of many dogs before. I have emergency and medical training. I have years of knowledge and practice of grooming, feeding and walking. I’m currently a student at Centenary University studying Equine Therapy. I have time in between classes and am available all day on Fridays through sundays. I enjoy going for long walks and being active as do most dogs! I am capable of extensive care as well such as medical needs

“So Happy to have sent my little guy Theo to stay with Anahita for 10 days while we were out of country. He was never out for so long without his family around him. Anahita took great care of him. “We recently moved to NOVA from Midlothian and had to find a new Rover Ally to watch our 2 sweet Goldens- We used someone who lived in the same town and it did not go well at all so we were very nervous about leaving them again with anyone else. I can hands down say this was one of our best Rover experiences ever!! Joel and Janelle have a beautiful place with a large grassy fenced yard! They sent periodic incredible “action” pictures and our Goldens did not seemed stressed at all when we picked them up. We are looking forward to our stay with them early next month.”
