“Fatima is the ABSOLUTE best. She is the five-star, Michelin chef of all Rover sitters. I left for Europe for 10 days, and she took care of my two troublemaker cats like it was so problem. She even lugged my giant Chewy delivery box up three flights of stairs for me (those things are so heavy). She EVEN protected my cats and apartment from unwanted construction work that my landlord was trying to have done while I was gone!!!!!! She followed all of my crazy, stressed cat-mom instructions (haha) and more! She would play with them, brush them, hold the screen door safely shut so they could look outside, and put on TV for them. I could not have asked for a better kitty-caretaker. Fatima is unmatched!!!! :))))”

“I don’t think I could recommend Erin highly enough! She’s been our best Rover, ever! She took extra care of my aging pug and gave me very detailed updates! The dogs were super safe and happy!”

“Emma is reliable, trustworthy and truly cares for animals. It’s obvious she loves what she does and makes all of the interactions a joy! So grateful to have found Emma. She is a gem!”

“Alise was very punctual and attentive. She made sure to spend quality time with both cats and took care of the one’s medicine for me. She was able to accommodate my last minute request for a sitter. I would gladly book her again!”

“Hope did a great job sending pics and videos of my dog to keep me updated with how things were going. She took him on a walk and played with him the snowy weather as well!”

“Alexis did a great job taking care of our cats. She was communicative, friendly, and completed the dop-in visits in a timely and thorough manner. We are happy to have found Alexis and will be repeat customers!”

About: Former vet assistant and kennel worker who ran an animal care business specializing in horses, German Shepherd breeding, and compassionate pet sitting for cats and dogs. I maintain a regular work schedule but offer flexible pet sitting hours to accommodate your needs, providing reliable, attentive, and personalized care for your pets anytime. “Jaime truly cares about animals and their needs and concerns, he communicates consistently, is enjoyable to interact with, and I would recommend you working with him too! I was able to enjoy my time away from home knowing that such a responsible and caring pet sitter would be visiting my pup and cat. I appreciate him truly and will be having him back to watch my babes again. Thank you Jaime for your care, we need more people like you!”

About: I grew up with Siberian huskies and am comfortable around high energy breeds! I also care for cats of friends and family, including cats with medical needs. I work a very non-traditional schedule, with rotating days and shifts. That being said, there’s almost always a way to figure out 1-2 visits or walks per day (though one may be preferred on some days). Reach out and we can figure it out! I am respectful of any space I am invited into, and I am diligent about security. I am comfortable working with any special requests you may have.
“Hadlie did a great job watching our two cats. She was very communicative the entire time she was caring for them and very professional. Hadlie also went above and beyond helping to water our Christmas tree and shovel part of the drive while we were away. We are so appreciative of her willingness to help in all these ways! Highly recommend!”

About: I have cared for pets of all kinds since I was very young. I am passionate about animals, especially rescues and senior pets. I promise to look after your pet as if it were my own. I am currently working as a barista full time from 7am-2pm. My schedule is flexible according to your pets needs. In the past, I have been able to overnight house sit for clients and work full time with no issues. Of course, this varies from pet to pet. I have had many pets throughout my life, including dogs, cats, guinea pigs, and fish. I have worked with senior dogs, young dogs, and dogs with special needs.
“Autumn took amazing care of my cat Ruby! She was very responsive and easy to communicate with, I would highly recommend her and would definitely have her take care of Ruby again!”

“Thank you so much! You did a fantastic job! I hope you have a great time with Polar and Minnie. I’ll be planning a trip in the future, and if that works for you, I’ll reach out again. I’d also love to learn more about your job and what services you provide for pets, including any job descriptions you might have. That would really help me understand your services better.”

About: Hi there, I have been involved with dog care since my childhood; growing up as a volunteer with various rescues and animal shelters, to fostering, to adopting and owning my own dogs. I have dealt with many breeds and types of dogs and personalities throughout the years. Unfortunately since my work schedule changes too frequently, I cannot accept bookings more than two weeks in advance. I am great for someone who needs a last minute, short stay booking (1-4 days) at a low affordable cost. If you have a well behaved dog, low-medium energy, that needs a safe, clean, and loving home for a few days while you’re gone, I’m the Rover for you 🙂 I live in an apartment so ideally my home is best suited for small to medium size dogs that are house trained, well behaved, and low-medium energy. I can unfortunately only accept large dogs if they are low energy, behaved, and house trained I do not have a yard but I do have plenty of safe walking space around the neighborhood. During the day, potty breaks are every 4 hours. If your dog is crate trained, that is a plus for overnight sleeping to avoid any issues of being out roaming the apartment without supervision. I am otherwise home and attentive to your dog. Communication is important. I respond quickly and will send daily updates. I’m only charging $20 a night because I know how hard it is to find safe, dependable, and affordable care, especially last minute. So I want to open my home when my schedule allows to help other dog owners I don’t require a meet and greet ahead of time but have no problem if you would like to have one (in person or FaceTime) and see if my place is the right fit for your dog when you’re gone. For the safety of your dog, I do not feed anything but your provided dog food and provided treats. I do not feed human food or my own treats as I don’t want to risk any stomach issues Thank you for your time and consideration
“Alexis was absolutely amazing! I would highly recommend booking with her! She is super attentive to your fur babies & treats them as her own! She took my Leo on a walk & sent me the best check-in pictures! She did an 11/10 job & i truly suggest you book with her in the future! Thank you so much Alexis for being super kind, and helpful🫶”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of August 2026, there are 899 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Bridgewater. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Bridgewater. On Rover:
- 90% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 94% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
