About: I have owned two dogs as pets. One lived to be 17. My dogs I have owned were both spunkie and lots of fun! I also worked in Illinois for a local dog walking/sitter company. I would walk my dogs for 20 I do walks in all kinds of weather. I had 2-4 dogs a week. Frankie a male dog and Ginger an older arthritic dog; they were my regulars. I would end every visit with petting and a treat. I really love my dogs and took very good care of them. Every visit ends with a text to the owner including a cute photo and information on whether the dog peed and pooped. I also volunteer at the Huron Velley Humane Society. My son has had all kinds of animals so if you have a bearded dragon or hamster I am familiar with many different pets. I love the flexibility. I enjoy getting outdoors and I love animals. This is a great combo for me. I’m recently stopped working this will a great way to fill my days. My dog gets a lot of love. I believe the best part of dogs is they are simple they just need attention and love. The last two dogs I had I gave lots of petting and hugs. Dogs also need stimulation whether it be playing fetch or using a Kong or some other activity an owner may have I like to incorporate that into my visit.

About: I’ve always been an animal person. I grew up on a farm caring for livestock and have been doing pet care as a job for multiple years. I’m able to care for dogs and cats as well as other pets. I’m great with plants and am down to keep your plants watered while you’re away. Taking care of your fur babies is one of my main jobs and so I work my schedule around yours to make sure your pets have a sense of normalcy while you’re away. At my place, there's a mostly shaded grassy area in the backyard with a tie-out stake so pups can spend some time enjoying the wildlife sounds safely when they need a break from the indoors.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats for year and have enjoyed every minute of it. I have had dogs growing up ranging from large dogs to my current dog being a mini English bulldog who I adore so dearly. Over the years I’ve primarily done over night home sitting for days at a time and walking a consistent group of dogs. I’m currently a college student on summer break, so I have a lot of availability and time off, especially on the weekends. I am always willing to find a time. I am able to be as active and down to a schedule that any pet needs to be. I make sure to make sure both the pet and owner are comfortable with someone trustworthy and caring.

About: Hello! My name is Alexis and I am a GVSU Alumni. I was also on the track and field team so I love to run and be outside! I do well with all different types of breeds and would treat your pet as my own (I have a goldendoodle back at home named Bentley). When he comes up to visit me, we love to go on walks, go to the pet store and even the doggie Beach! I have recently just got a Mini Aussie puppy of my own named Asher and he will melt your heart! I would love to give my love and affection to your pet(s) and make sure to go above and beyond for them! They will definitely be spoiled and have lot of attention that they deserve! I would be so happy to have your to watch and walk! I work a hybrid schedule for work so I am able to work from home! I have a great schedule with my own as we go out multiple times a day and even go on 30 mins walks during my lunch time. I have a dog of my own who loves guests and plenty of space to play and go in walks outside! If needing their own space I have multiple rooms or if needed- crate to let them wind down.

About: Hi there, I have been involved with dog care since my childhood; growing up as a volunteer with various rescues and animal shelters, to fostering, to adopting and owning my own dogs. I have dealt with many breeds and types of dogs and personalities throughout the years. Unfortunately since my work schedule changes too frequently, I cannot accept bookings more than two weeks in advance. I am great for someone who needs a last minute, short stay booking (1-4 days) at a low affordable cost. If you have a well behaved dog, low-medium energy, that needs a safe, clean, and loving home for a few days while you’re gone, I’m the Rover for you 🙂 I live in an apartment so ideally my home is best suited for small to medium size dogs that are house trained, well behaved, and low-medium energy. I can unfortunately only accept large dogs if they are low energy, behaved, and house trained I do not have a yard but I do have plenty of safe walking space around the neighborhood. During the day, potty breaks are every 4 hours. If your dog is crate trained, that is a plus for overnight sleeping to avoid any issues of being out roaming the apartment without supervision. I am otherwise home and attentive to your dog. Communication is important. I respond quickly and will send daily updates. I’m only charging $20 a night because I know how hard it is to find safe, dependable, and affordable care, especially last minute. So I want to open my home when my schedule allows to help other dog owners I don’t require a meet and greet ahead of time but have no problem if you would like to have one (in person or FaceTime) and see if my place is the right fit for your dog when you’re gone. For the safety of your dog, I do not feed anything but your provided dog food and provided treats. I do not feed human food or my own treats as I don’t want to risk any stomach issues Thank you for your time and consideration

About: I’m a current medical student with a lifelong love for dogs and plenty of experience caring for pets with a wide range of needs and personalities. I grew up with rescue dogs, which taught me patience, compassion, and how to work with reactive dogs who need a little extra TLC. I also currently have a senior dog of my own who absolutely loves having dog friends around. Over the years, I’ve been a trusted sitter for friends and family, and I’m excited to offer that same dependable care to new clients and their pets. The services I provide include dog walking in all weather, drop-in visits for both dogs and cats, and occasional boarding in my apartment, which features a small enclosed yard perfect for quick outdoor time. Whether your pet needs exercise, companionship, or a cozy place to stay, I strive to make every animal feel relaxed, engaged, and well-cared for. Because I’m in medical school, my availability varies month-to-month. Some months I’m available throughout most of the day, while others I may have more limited windows—but I always communicate my schedule clearly and ensure I can dedicate quality, attentive time to every pet I welcome. I’m committed to providing reliable, compassionate care and can’t wait to meet your furry family member! Pet care is a welcomed part of my routine that I look forward to. I am currently available all mornings, and every evening excluding Wednesdays. I have one senior dog who does well with children and other dogs. I do not have a crate in my home. I keep all food stored in cupboards and out of reach, and have plenty of cozy nap spots on the couch or on dog beds. I am available for walks in the neighborhood, house visits, and can transport dogs to sniff spots.

About: I currently work at a vet tech. I’m hoping to pursue veterinary school within the next couple years. I have a cat, dog, and tortoise of my own. I love taking care of animals. I’m willing to be flexible with rates too. I have experience sitting independently. New to Rover though! Im working part-time so I have plenty of flexibility with my schedule and will do my best to accommodate your fur babies. They’ll be treated like my own! I cannot provide boarding unfortunately as I don’t have a house. However, I am definitely willing to come sit and do overnight stays if you live a reasonable distance from me.

About: I grew up with Siberian huskies and am comfortable around high energy breeds! I also care for cats of friends and family, including cats with medical needs. I work a very non-traditional schedule, with rotating days and shifts. That being said, there’s almost always a way to figure out 1-2 visits or walks per day (though one may be preferred on some days). Reach out and we can figure it out! I am respectful of any space I am invited into, and I am diligent about security. I am comfortable working with any special requests you may have.

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and have always loved caring for them! I’ve pet sat for many families, including stays up to two weeks. I’m comfortable caring for dogs with medications, special needs, and neurological conditions, and always treat every pup like my own. Currently a college student with a mix of online and in-person classes, giving me a consistent and flexible schedule for pet care. I’m consistently available throughout the day on Mondays, Tuesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays, with additional availability depending on my class schedule. I live in a condo with access to a community dog park and plenty of outdoor space. I have a friendly 3-year-old Bernadoodle named Milo, and I also have a large crate available if needed.
