As I'm going back to school to complete my vet tech license, I'm looking for more flexible work that can still fulfill my love for working with animals and providing them care. About: I have owned two dogs as pets. One lived to be 17. My dogs I have owned were both spunkie and lots of fun! I also worked in Illinois for a local dog walking/sitter company. I would walk my dogs for 20 minutes. If the weather was bad I would walk the pet and play with them inside their home. I had 2-4 dogs a week. Frankie a big sniffer male dog and Ginger an older arthritic dog; they were my regulars. I would end every visit with petting and a treat. I really love my dogs. Every visits ends with a text to the owner including a cute photo and information on whether the dog peed and pooped. I love the flexibility. I enjoy getting outdoors and I love animals. Dogs also need stimulation whether it be playing fetch or using a Kong or some other activity an owner may have I like to incorporate that into my visit.

I have experience with walking them, feeding them, and keeping them company :) I plan to work part-time this summer, but I don’t have anything set in stone yet. Other than that, I don’t have many conflicts. I will probably be free most days and evenings of the week. You can trust me to care for your pet in almost any way they need. I am thorough and will always make sure they are healthy and happy in my care.

“Rachel and Michael did an amazing job with our injured puppy. We are grateful that they agreed to watch her even after we found out just prior to leaving her that she had an injury and needed special attention. Our puppy needed RX twice per day and could only be let out on a leash. Not only did Rachel lovingly take care of all of this, she also went above and beyond and contacted our vet to make sure our puppy was being taken care of properly. About: Animals are my absolute world! I am a proud dog mom to 3 dogs of my own and have grown up with dogs my whole life! I have lived with cats for a few years and fostered 2 in the past! I have extensive experience managing multi-pet households and giving patient care to shy and energetic pets! Because I only work a few shifts a week at my other job, I have a lot of free time to completely dedicate to hanging out with your pets! Whether your pet needs a high-energy walk, a strict feeding routine, or just some cozy companionship, I treat every animal with the exact same love and responsibility I give my own! I’m currently working part time so have plenty of time to dedicate to your fur babies! I am available most mornings and afternoons, and almost always later at night for boarding purposes! I can be very flexible with my schedule! I am more than willing/able to go to your home and care for your pet in its comfortable space! But I have 2 dogs at home right now that can keep your fur baby’s company, both very social and friendly (one is a 13 year old golden retriever and the other a 8 year old golden doodle). I have a spacious yard and a very safe, low traffic neighborhood! I like to make sure they spend time outside, get lots of love and care, and keep their coats clean and maintained each day! One of my dogs has a very picky pallet and eating schedule so I am more the capable of following strict eating routines and ensuring your pets healthly!
