“Brandy is amazing! I didn’t update my address on Rover and it sent her to my old spot and she still drove to my current address and walked him for me. I would 10/10 recommend her and will continue to use her services when needed. Thank you, Brandy, for taking such good care of my baby. 🥰”

About: Growing up, I had three dogs, one of which I trained to play hide and seek, soccer, fetch, shake, sing, etc. I love animals so much and take really good care of them. I have even been dubbed the “dog whisperer” by several people over the years haha. Regarding more professional experience, in undergrad, I walked one of the chaplain’s dogs. This past summer, I walked and dog-sat for a few families. I’d love to help out in any way I can! I’m a graduate student at IUB, but generally speaking, I am free most mornings and nights, as well as on Fridays and the weekend. I’m pretty good at balancing my time, so I can be pretty flexible outside class hours. I pay a lot of attention to the animals in any home, and so I’d definitely play with them and give them much love. I’d follow any instruction about their feeding and/or walking schedule. I’ve cared for some pretty big dogs in the past, too!

About: My day job at the hospital I work at is to feed my patients, groom them, clean up their poop, take them on walks, etc. I can’t wait to treat your pet with the same level of care :) I have had pets throughout my childhood, and have always taken a very active role in their care. I love animals and I am heartbroken that I am not at a stage in my life where I can commit to my own pet, but I would love nothing more than to spend time with yours. Additionally, while I am new to this app and have not professionally pet sit before, I have pet sit for my neighbors and friends countless times throughout my life. I work 3 12 hour shift a week where I will not be able to care for a pet. However, since I can work any three days of the week, I can care for one pet with no work commitments for as long as 4 days. My schedule varies, but please reach out and I would be happy to plan something. I'm mostly just doing this because I want to hang out with animals and without committing to getting my own pet, as I will be starting grad school next year and will not have time to care for a pet once that happens. In other words, if I'm caring for your pet it's not because this is a job for me. It's because I really want to hang out with your pet I have every intention of spending all my time and effort on them.

About: I grew up breeding Shih Tzu dogs in our home. It was fun, messy, loving and wonderful. The puppies were a part of our family until their new family adopted them. When I went to college, I volunteered at the local humane society to get my dog fix in, and I adored it. I seemed to have knack for interacting with all the dogs there, no matter their breed or disposition. I have been dog sitting for my friends when they go out of town for years now. I thought I'd like to offer this service to others, particularly for weekends and holidays. Please let me play with your dog! Related to stays in my home: Over the last few years I have purchased a new home with a fenced in back yard and I adopted a (now) 2 year old Cavapoo, named Henry, when his former owner sadly passed away. He’s super friendly with a moderate energy level. But, we are a one-pet household. So I’m also highly motivated to give Henry the benefit of play dates with friends. As such, if our dogs get along famously, I’m hoping to be able to offer discounted rates to a neighbor or two for some semi-consistent doggie day care style visits. I work from home full time, as does my partner, with fairly flexible schedules. I almost never leave my dog crated for more than an hour to run an errand. If dogs travel in the car with me while running errands (or driving to a park, etc), then I require them to wear a crash-rated harness for everyone’s safety. New Clients: I typically like to book at least 48 hours notice before drop-in, and 1 week before day care / home stays. I will want to meet with you and your pets to make sure that we are a great fit! It's important to me that your beloved family members receive the best care and this is one way we ensure that. I work from home full time, as does my partner, with fairly flexible schedules. For sitting at your home, I typically visit 3 times a day, for 30-60 minutes each time. With multi-day stays, one of those is generally a longer chill hang-out visit lasting a bit more time for companionship reasons, with a second potty-break at the end before I leave (so 4 trips outside per day). If you want me there for more than 4 hours in a day or for a sleepover, that’s an extra fee we can discuss. For both home-stays and drop-ins, I’m flexible as to the activities I do there. Your pup is all about that walk? We are on it! Do they thrive on showing off their training skills? Let’s run some drills? Obsessed with that ball? I can keep on throwing it. Not happy unless they are literally sitting in your lap? I’ve got all the ear scritches ready. Older pup who just wants company nearby but generally left alone? I’ll respect their space and make sure they have everything they need. For stays in my home, I almost never leave my dog crated for more than an hour to run an errand, and would treat your pet the same! It can help to have bedding that is familiar and safe, so prefer you bring the crate your dog is familiar with. I only accept overnights in my home for crate-trained pets. For dog walking service, I try to keep that to strictly walking. If I have to do other care tasks with your pet before I leave for the walk and/or before I head home, then I cannot guarantee 30 minutes of “walking” and it can make Rover’s tracking weird. So please book a “visit” if you want me to feed, change water, play with, provide other enrichment, etc in addition to a potty break and some time on leash. If you do just want a walk, then please explain if you want your pup to be allowed to smell the roses or if we’re trying to burn gravel, so I can best meet your pups needs! If dogs travel in the car with me while running errands (or driving to a park, etc), then I require them to wear a crash-rated harness for everyone’s safety. I only accept boarding with crate-trained pets for everyone’s safety if I can’t be in the room with the pup at that time.

“Kody was fantastic. I hired him to walk a very energetic 1-year-old retriever twice a day after I broke my shoulder. He was always on time. He was pleasant and helpful, and dealt well with my dog's enthusiastic nature. I recommend him highly and I believe you will enjoy working with him as much as we did. Great guy.”

About: I'm a lifelong dog lover — I've cared for dogs of all ages, from senior pups who need a little extra TLC to high-energy dogs who love to run and play. As a self-proclaimed dog person, I can't wait to shower your furry friend with love and attention until you're reunited. Because I work from home and have two dogs, I'm around most of the time. It's rare for me to be away from the house for more than a couple of hours, and if your pet needs full-time attention, I can make it work. I have a fenced yard that's been well battle-tested by my own dogs. I love staying active, so I'm happy to take your dog on a good morning walk or spend extra time stretching those legs in the backyard. As a very attached dog owner myself, I know how good it is to hear that things are going well, so I'm happy to send as many or as few photos as you'd like.

About: Grew up surrounded by pets and fostered dogs alongside my family! I’m very patient and understanding of your pet’s needs, while also making sure we all have a fun time I currently have a full-time WFH job, and because of this, have plenty of time throughout my afternoons to take your sweet pet on a walk. Although I’m mostly available in my afternoons, if your pet is a morning walk lover, I can work to accommodate you and your pet! My current lease does not allow pets inside my home, making me all the more willing to drop by your home as needed. When in your own space, I have nothing but respect for your and your pet’s home. While your pet cannot step inside my home, there are safe, lovely walking trails nearby, as well as a private pet-friendly park 0.1 miles away!

About: have 15+ years of dog sitting/walking experience including 2 pups of my own (10yo Husky, 3yo Terrier). :) I spent 2 years in LA working with a dog rescue including fostering a pittie for 1.5 years. I am good at teaching basic commands and have worked with a range of dogs/energy levels. I have lots of experience with rescue and high anxiety dogs - my own Husky is one anxious pup around new people. I work from home in Rosedale and am looking to break up my day working remotely and get some fresh air / get out of the house with your pup! I am not offering any at-home services in my home. For other owners' homes, I treat them how I would want my own home treated.

“Rebecca is awesome. She was so sweet and loving with our cautious dog, he took to her immediately and he is usually wary of new people. She sent pictures and kept us up to date. Will definitely be using her again in the future”

About: Dogs have always been a big part of my life. I grew up in a house full of dogs—pit bulls, pugs, and all kinds of lovable mutts. My family fostered dogs regularly, so I’ve been around a wide variety of breeds, sizes, temperaments, and energy levels. That experience taught me how to read dog body language, handle different behaviors, and help dogs feel safe and cared for in new environments. I now have a pit bull of my own who’s sweet, goofy, and full of personality. I’m confident handling strong breeds and love connecting with every type of dog. Whether your pup is high-energy or more laid-back, I’ll make sure they get the care and attention they deserve. I’m a strength and conditioning coach with a flexible schedule, so I can often accommodate early mornings, midday walks, and evening drop-ins. My work is mostly part-time, and I build my schedule week by week, which allows me to prioritize pet care. Reach out with your preferred times—I’m happy to work with you to make it fit! When caring for your dog in your home, I make safety and routine my top priorities. I’ll follow your instructions closely when it comes to feeding, potty breaks, walks, and any house rules—whether that’s keeping your pup off the furniture or giving them treats after a walk. I’m experienced with dogs who are shy, excitable, or strong-willed, and I always approach with patience and kindness. If your dog needs medications or has special care instructions, I’ll handle those with care and consistency. I’ll also keep you updated with messages and photos so you feel at ease while you’re away.

About: I have more than two decades of experience taking care of my own cats and dogs. Additionally I have been a pet sitter for several of my friends, relatives, and neighbors over the years. I'm available most mornings between 8:30 and 11 and most evenings between 8 and 10. There will usually be one or two days a week when I'm available all day. I do not currently care for clients' pets in my home because I have pets of my own. When caring for pets in clients' home, I like to ask the clients about their rules and routines and follow those.

About: I grew up with family in rural Texas, while working for them in the summers I was responsible for an array of animals including pets, goats, chickens, cows and sheeps. This was my introduction into handling animals, and learning how to take care of them. I transferred this experience into a job in the animal welfare field. I learned the anatomy of dogs, behavioral traits, and got hands-on experience with the pets I worked with every day. (I am also PetSafety certified!). I am currently in the process of applying for various colleges. Consequently, I have a fairly open schedule and am flexible on dates and times. Besides the guidelines and tasks given to me by the pet parent, I care for your pets the way I want mine to be cared for. With lots of love!

“Our little dog loves Kristen. Kristen is gentle, caring and responsible. My husband and I are getting on in age and hope to increase her hours as the need arises.. We are blessed to have found such dependable help. I highly recommend Kristen.”

“Francis is wonderful! He was agreeable to a meet-and-greet prior to starting services, took a genuine interest in finding out Beckett’s specific needs, and has always been punctual. I’ve been very impressed by his communication, ability to manage Beckett (who has a tendency to pull), and his patience and willingness to work on improving Beckett’s walking. Beckett can take a while to warm up to people, but he warmed up to Francis quickly and has been loving the walks! I’d highly recommend Francis to anyone looking for a caring, dependable, experienced dog walker!”

About: I have been taking care of family and friends animals since i was 16! I have also volunteered at the local animal shelter for several summers in high school. I’m going to school Monday-Thursday and am looking for something flexible to fill my time before class and on weekends. My availability is completely open on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday and I am available for morning and evening walks on the weekdays. I’m more than willing to show up to clients homes and take care of their animals following their specifications. My transportation is reliable and my schedule is flexible.

“Jessica stayed with our family for 6 months when she was in college. She was fantastic with our labradoodle, Chelsea. Our dog warmed to her immediately and loved her evening walks with Jessica. She also house sat for us and watched Chelsea in our home when we had a weekend getaway. While staying with us, she also cared for our neighbors' dogs when they went out of town on vacation. She loves dogs and is very responsible caring for them. Chelsea can't wait for her to come back for another visit!”

Collin E.
“I can’t recommend Collin enough! Not only is he passionate about caring for animals, but he’s also incredibly patient and understanding of their needs. My cat is pretty grumpy, and he’s wary around new people. He gets anxious easily, so I tend to not bring him around others for extended periods of time. I recently experienced long-term power outage from a hailstorm, and I let Collin watch the cat while I figured things out. I was pleasantly surprised to see how fond my cat became with Collin! It’s clear that Collin does a fantastic job in bonding with any pet he watches, and my cat has since always been happy to see him!”
