“Ashley & Carter was a great host to our little dog (Hope). This was Hope's first experience boarding, so we were worried about how things will turn out, but Ashley and Carter did a great job, warming up and taking care of Hope. She was very accommodating to our request and was on point on the picture updates and texting us how things were. Hope had so much fun, that she seems like she didn't want to leave when we picked her up. We thank you for taking in our little Hope and giving her a great nice relaxed vacation. Consider us your regulars now... Hope is looking forward to see you guys again soon, & she misses you & Carter already..”

About: I’ve cared for a wide range of pets growing up, including dogs, cats, fish, and small animals like guinea pigs. I have hands-on experience with dogs at every stage of life—from raising my own dog from 8 weeks old to caring for senior dogs with more specialized needs. I live an active lifestyle and enjoy working with high-energy dogs, making sure they get the exercise, stimulation, and attention they need throughout the day. Because I work remotely, I have the flexibility to stay present, maintain routines, and give pets consistent care rather than leaving them alone for long periods. I also prioritize clear communication and provide regular updates so you know exactly how your pet is doing while you’re away. Pet care is something I intentionally structure my day around, not something I fit in when I have time. Since I work remotely, I’m home and available throughout the day, which allows for consistent walks, playtime, and attention instead of long gaps alone. I live in a large home with a fully fenced yard, so dogs have safe, easy access to the outdoors for breaks and fresh air. I still make sure they get proper walks and activity based on their energy level—it’s not just yard time. I adjust my schedule to match each pet’s routine—whether that’s higher activity and stimulation or a calmer, more predictable pace—and focus on keeping their day consistent and low-stress. When caring for pets in my home, I focus on creating a safe, structured, and low-stress environment. I keep routines consistent with what they’re used to—feeding schedules, walks, and downtime—so the transition feels as natural as possible. Dogs have access to a fully fenced yard for safe outdoor breaks, along with regular walks and playtime based on their energy level. I’m home throughout the day, so they receive consistent supervision and attention rather than being left alone for long periods. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize maintaining their normal routine and environment. I follow all instructions closely—feeding, walks, medications if needed—and make sure the pet stays comfortable in their familiar space. I’m respectful of the home, keep things clean, and provide regular updates so owners know how their pet is doing. In both settings, I focus on being attentive, reliable, and responsive to each pet’s individual needs.
“Jenna was great! My cats loved her, even my very shy cat that takes a long time to warm up to new people seemed to enjoy her company. I loved all the pictures she posted after her visits! Would definitely book again, thanks Jenna!!”

“Blanca took great care when she came to check on my cat Fiona and was even kind enough to clean up water Fiona spilled. I am happy she was was around to make sure Fiona was doing well!”

“Thomas was really responsive when we were messaging and scheduling. He sent nice pictures of our cat and when we got back, our cat wasn't desperate because of lack of attention.”

“Jenna was very communicative and reliable. I asked her to be there at a specific time in case she had access issues I’d be able to help. She was punctual which was great. Furthermore our two kittens liked her and seemed to trust her while she was at our home.”

“Galete was a great pet sitter for my cat! I could tell she really cared about taking good care of her. She listened to my detailed instructions & was able to give my cat the medicine she needed. I recommend booking Galete!”

“I found Christopher on Rover at the last minute to help with 3 visits. One of our dogs is a rescue that we’ve had less than a week; he’s being crated and I was unable to get away from work. Christopher came to my house after I messaged him and met everyone. He was kind and competent and I knew the dogs would be in good hands. He did a great job—he was on time for his visits, and sent me pictures and messages. It was such a relief to me to know that my dogs were well-cared for. I will use him again for sure!!!”

“Jen was great with my pup. Xena is a sweet and nervous around other dog; Jen was more than accommodating and took her time introducing her to the other dogs. On her second day she was fully part of the pack and I had a great time at puppy land. I would definitely recommend her services 10/10”

About: I have been a dog owner for 8 years and have experience with post surgery, administering medicines, and senior dogs for 2 years. I’ve watched my several of my friend’s dogs and they all get along great with Tendie! I love to play with energetic dogs and relax and snuggle with lazy dogs. I have a good sized fenced in yard for dogs of all sizes to explore and sniff to their hearts desires! I work from home so I can accommodate any special bathroom or other timing needs. Tendie is a senior dog who does very well with other dogs and mostly keeps to himself after he’s met another dog. I work from home so I can accommodate any special timing needs your dog may have. I can let a dog out in my yard anytime of day for bathroom breaks and typically go on walks around 4-5pm, but can adjust if needed. I have a fully fenced in yard and live on a quiet street away from loud traffic and busy intersections. I also have several rooms to separate any dogs if some alone time is needed.
About: Hello! My name is JJ and I'm a trail runner that decided to combine the two things I love the most: exercise and animals. I have been providing pet care for dogs, cats and other household pets full-time for over 8 years in Austin now. I am currently providing pet care full-time during the week and often have weekend availability. As a pet parent and a user of Rover pet sitters myself, I know how important good communication and reliability is when you are away from your pet family. I prioritize responding promptly to all booking requests and communication throughout the duration of booked appointments. This includes happily answering questions, sending updates and pet pictures of each visit. For me, communication, transparency and trust are key to having a worry-free workday or trip away! PET CARE: *NEW* Now offering boarding and doggie daycare. My partner and I purchased a house in North Shoal Creek and can now host up to 4 dogs. My partner, Josh Cross, is a software developer and works from home, so visiting pets will always have a human companion while I am away on walks and check-ins. I offer check-ins for dogs, cats and other household pets, to give them food, water, bathroom breaks, clean litter boxes, etc. If there is ever a package or mail by the door, I always bring it inside, as well. WALKS: If your dog(s) just need a potty break and some exercise, I’m more than happy to go for 30-60 minute walks. I typically use my own waist leash, but I can use your leash, if preferred, and I have a tandem leash attachment to take two dogs for an outing together, if needed. RUNS: For dogs that like to run, I can jog at your dogs pace for 30-60 minutes. Slow or fast, with water breaks, walk breaks, and potty breaks. On hot days, I prioritize finding the shadiest routes in the area and run in the grass when possible. For running dogs, I prefer them to wear a body harness or gentle leader, if available. *I offer a limited number of dog runs per day depending on daily volume.* My love for animals comes from growing up with a family that spoiled inside pets of many species and sizes. I cherished my own chihuahua, Zeus, of 14 years. Nowadays, I share a big, sweet super-mutt named Ozzie with my partner, Josh. I currently have weekday availability during traditional work hours, but I also have some evenings and weekends available. I don’t prefer to book recurring weekly appointments on the weekends. I regularly keep my Rover calendar updated and list the dates I’m out of town in my profile, in case I don’t have reception on vacation, usually a camping trip. I prefer to use a waist leash, which is safer and more secure than holding a leash in my hand. Please supply waste bags and any treats you would like me to give to your pet.
About: I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life and have cared for over five dogs of different sizes, breeds, and ages with my family. From playful puppies to sweet senior dogs, I understand how to adapt to each dog’s unique needs and personality. I love spending time playing, walking, and giving dogs the attention they deserve. Whether it’s belly rubs, outdoor play, or quiet company, I’ll make sure your pup feels safe, loved, and happy! Besides dogs, I love all animals! I have had bunnies and birds before and know how to take care of them! I work remotely full-time, which which allows me to give pets plenty of attention, supervision, and care throughout their stay. My daily routine is flexible, so I’m able to accommodate feeding schedules, potty breaks, playtime, cuddle time, medication routines, and regular check-ins. I like to keep each pet’s routine as close as possible to what they are used to at home. Whether they need active play, quiet company, extra patience, or a calm space to relax, I do my best to adjust my day around their comfort and needs! I live in a spacious apartment that offers plenty of room for your pet to feel safe, comfortable, and well supervised! I got my two friendly American Shorthair cats at home, so I’m very mindful about introductions, boundaries, and each pet’s comfort level. I always take time to understand how each pet does around other animals! If a pet needs their own space, quiet time, or a slower introduction, I make sure they have a calm area where they can relax. I keep the environment clean, organized, and peaceful so every pet feels cared for during their stay!
About: I have about 10+ years of experience in care. I’ve been dog sitting since I was about 15. I have a lot of love to give, and I personally crate & potty trained my dogs. I’m currently a full-time student, so I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule. I spend most of my time studying from home, which allows me to give your pets plenty of attention, care, and companionship. I can’t wait to meet your babies! 💕 I live in a pet-friendly apartment with plenty of walking areas nearby. I take dogs outside regularly for potty breaks, walks, and playtime, always ensuring their safety and comfort during every outing.
“David was great for daycare with our dog! He responded promptly, took care to understand our dog's needs and was provided us with photos and updates throughout the day. He also provided us with a framed portrait of our dog at the end of the day, which was an awesome gesture. Would highly recommend David for doggy daycare or boarding!”

About: Hi there! I’m a mom of energetic triplets and a lifelong dog lover. For the past 5+ years, I’ve been caring for friends’ dogs in my home, often with a full (and happy!) pack of up to five pups at a time. I work from home, which means your dog gets lots of attention, cuddles, and supervision throughout the day. My kids are with me 50% of the time, and they absolutely adore dogs — lots of love, belly rubs, and a little spoiling guaranteed! We have a big, fully fenced backyard for plenty of playtime. If your pup enjoys adventures, I try to make it out to the Domain dog park a few times a week. We currently have two dogs of our own: 🐾 A mellow 16-year-old who likes to keep to himself 🐾 A playful 2 year old who’s crate trained and full of energy — but I always set boundaries to keep things peaceful and positive. This is a loving, safe, and dog-friendly home. Whether your pup loves to play or just needs a cozy place to nap, they’ll feel right at home here. Let me know if you have any questions — I’d love to meet you and your furry friend! I work full-time from home and take my dog to the park practically every day and I have a pretty light workload, which allows me to give lots of attention to all my furry friends . I spoil them with attention and very good with paying attention to each dogs needs and personalities . My visitors get plenty of rest, routine and I cater to any diet, exercise, and training needs that owners have.
“I had a wonderful experience. I showed up completely forgetting my pup’s belongings and didn’t get a chance to drive home to grab his stuff. They were very accommodating and helped me feel at ease with text updates and photos. When I picked up my pup his tail was wagging and I could tell he had a good time. Will definitely use their services again! Thanks again for everything !”

“We have been out of town a lot the last few months so we haven’t been able to use Puffin and pack for daycare much anymore, but she accommodated my last minute request over the holidays so I could get out of the house dog free for a few hours.”

“Aimee was amazing! She took such good care of our pup. Always made sure she felt comfortable with her and other dogs staying with her. She also gives very detail updates, which I loved! Would recommend 100%!”

About: Dogs have always been a huge part of my life, and caring for them is something I genuinely love. I have experience with a wide range of breeds, personalities, and energy levels — from playful puppies to senior dogs who need a little extra patience and comfort. I understand that every dog is different, and I always make it a priority to help them feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away. As a dog owner myself, I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet. Whether your pup loves long walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply sticking to their routine, I’ll make sure they get the attention and care they deserve. I am currently a college student with a flexible schedule, which gives me plenty of time to focus on walks, drop-ins, play sessions, and quality care for your pets. I’m dependable, attentive, and always happy to provide updates and photos so you can feel at ease while you’re away. I’m especially mindful of dogs who may feel nervous in new environments or around new people. I take the time to learn each dog’s personality, routine, and needs so they can feel as relaxed and happy as possible during our time together. I have a flexible schedule and can dedicate plenty of time and attention to your pets. I’m available for dog walking, drop-in visits, and pet sitting throughout the week. I can accommodate morning, afternoon, and evening visits, and I’m happy to work with your pet’s routine to make sure they feel comfortable and cared for. I provide a calm, clean, and pet-friendly environment, and I make sure pets are always supervised. I’m attentive to behavior and will keep you updated with messages and photos so you feel confident your pet is in good hands.

About: I’m a real estate agent so my schedule is super flexible! I just love spending my extra time with cute dogs and cats. Animals have been a huge part of my life since I got my first dog at six years old, and today my three cats happily run the household. Friends know me as the person who ends up spending more time with the pets than the people, usually on the floor doing what we jokingly call "pet yoga" with whichever dog or cat wants to join. I have a special soft spot for rescue animals, senior pets, and those who need a little extra patience and understanding. I've supported local rescue organizations for years and even helped transport animals for Austin Pets Alive during the Texas floods. Whether your pet wants adventure, playtime, cuddles, or simply a calm companion, my goal is to make them feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you're away. I’m a real estate agent so my schedule is flexible! I’m an early riser and as a life long Texan, I don’t mind the middle of the day summer heat. Having worked with rescue animals and senior pets, I'm comfortable moving at each animal's pace and paying attention to the little details that help them feel secure and stress-free.
About: I am an animal lover and have had dogs and cats my whole life. I work full time from my home and would love to care for your pet! I currently work at home and will hang out with your dog all day! I have 3 breaks, 2 15 minutes (1130 am and 3:15pm) and one 30 minute lunch break at 1pm. I will take out the dog in the morning as well before I start work at 9am. After that, they can hang with me in my room while I work and I will make sure to give them lots of pets!!! I have no other pets and I don't mind the dog on my furniture. I just want them to be comfortable with the A/C on and a full water bowl so they can feel at home!
“Olivia is great she is very polite, professional and attentive with my pet's needs and has great communication skills I can be at work and know my pet is in good hands. I would highly recommend her services!”

“Kody walked our dog Mac for several months. He was reliable and very responsive through texting and was always on top of his schedule for when he could/couldn’t walk our dog. Kody is the exact type of person you want to have taking care of your furry loved one!”

About: I spent more than a decade loving a very large, very opinionated German Shepherd named Ruta through epilepsy, severe allergies, endless medication schedules, and his senior years, so “high-maintenance” pets don’t scare me. I tend to love them even harder. These days I’m supervised by Edwin, my mini Aussie rescue, who has strong opinions about other dogs, delivery trucks, and apparently several completely innocent squirrels. Living with him has made me very comfortable with boundaries, reactivity, slow introductions, and the fact that not every dog wants to be everybody’s friend. I’m also the person who genuinely wants the six-paragraph document explaining exactly how your dog likes breakfast. Give me the quirks, the routines, the medications, the weird little rules, the favorite toy, the thing they absolutely will not do unless you ask them in a very specific way. I want to know all of it. Basically: I take your pet seriously without taking myself too seriously. And yes, I will probably send you too many pictures. My schedule is pretty flexible, which means I can usually work around your pet’s normal routine. Walks, meals, potty breaks, meds, couch hangs; tell me what they’re used to and I’ll do my best to keep things consistent. Tell me everything. What’s their routine? What makes them nervous? Are they an escape artist? A sock eater? Do they lose their mind when a skateboard goes by? How are they on leash? I’m big on respecting a pet’s boundaries and keeping their routine as familiar as possible. I’d much rather know about a quirk or trigger ahead of time than be surprised by it later.
About: I've always had dogs in my life. I grew up with smaller dogs in my family, but when I moved off to college I didn't have as much time around them. It honestly took a minor toll on my mental health, because I actually believe dogs are the key to happiness. Once I moved to Arlington and my roommate had a dog (a medium sized), I knew I needed to surround myself with more. And what better way to get to know the community than to take care of the most important part of it! Working remotely gives me the incredible flexibility to make pet care a seamless part of my day. While I work a standard 9-to-5 schedule, my job allows me to easily step away from my desk whenever needed. Whether that means taking your dog out for a mid-day potty break, going on an afternoon walk to burn off some energy, or giving a cat some quality cuddle time, I can accommodate your pet’s exact routine without delay. When I take on a pet sitting commitment, that work becomes my top priority. My flexible remote setup means I’m present, attentive, and available throughout the day - giving your pets the companionship and supervision they need so you can have complete peace of mind while you're away. Whether I’m hosting your pet at my home or caring for them in yours, safety and trust are my top priorities. My own space is fully pet-proofed, safe, and secure for hosting, while in your home, I treat your property with absolute respect, adhering strictly to your house rules, routine, and security preferences. On walks and during yard play, I stay 100% focused on your pet - maintaining a secure grip on the leash, monitoring weather and pavement conditions, and actively avoiding potential hazards or unfamiliar dogs. Building trust starts with clear, reliable communication. I make a point to send frequent updates and photos so you always know your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for. From double-checking fence latches to keeping strict safety routines, I take every precaution to give you complete peace of mind while you're away.

About: I have been surrounded by animals and family responsibilities my entire life, and caring for others is a core part of who I am. Growing up in a busy, dedicated pet-owning family, I spent years helping look after my little sister and raising three different dogs across all life stages. My first childhood dog, Fonzie, sparked my deep bond with animals early on. Later, our second family dog, Crembo, was my constant companion from the time I was seven years old until she passed away fifteen years later. Caring for her throughout her senior years gave me immense, hands-on experience handling aging pets and maintaining gentle, patient daily routines. Today, our family dog Kiwi has been a huge part of my life since I was sixteen, keeping me fully dialed into the daily energy, habits, and exercise needs of active pets. In addition to dogs, my family has also kept fish tanks my entire life, giving me a lifelong familiarity with maintaining basic aquarium care. Beyond my own family, I have a proven track record of independent responsibility when looking after other people's homes and pets, including a wide variety of dogs, cats, and fish. For nearly three years during high school, a neighbor hired me to care for her dog, Splenda, almost every single day after school. I managed her afternoon routine for an hour or two daily, ensuring she got her exercise, fresh water, and companionship before her owner returned from work. This long-term commitment taught me the absolute importance of punctuality and consistency in an animal's life. Over the years, I have regularly house-sat and pet-sat for various people, which includes managing feeding schedules and daily care specifically for a close family friend's cat over many successful stays. These experiences often involved staying at properties entirely alone overnight or managing them independently during the day. Because of this, I am highly adaptable to different home security systems, household rules, and unique pet personalities. My background working as a camp counselor and professional bartender also adds a strong layer to my reliability. I am deeply accustomed to high-trust environments, handling unexpected situations with a cool head, and maintaining strict organizational standards. Working in hospitality means I am naturally obsessed with cleanliness and organization, closing down spaces spotlessly, and keeping environments completely neat and tidy. I am fully accustomed to managing daily household chores and handling a property responsibly while owners are away, treating every home with the exact same respect I give my own. I recently relocated to Austin and I'm in the process of picking up part-time bartending shifts, which works out well for both of us — I get the time, and your pet gets someone who's actually around. I've got a sweet dog, Kiwi, back home, and I've missed having that kind of company since moving, so I'd love having a pet around again. My schedule is wide open — I'm available every day, any time, including weekends. Most of my days are spent job hunting, settling into the city, and just being around the house, so I'm home and available a lot, not squeezing visits in between other things. If your pet wants extra walks, more playtime, or just someone hanging around keeping them company, I'm happy to make that part of my day. I treat every client's home and pets the way I'd want mine treated. Since I only provide care in your home (house sitting, drop-ins, and dog walking), my focus is making sure your pet feels safe and comfortable in their own space, and that your home is exactly how you left it when you get back. Household Security & Care: I'll double-check doors and gates, make sure the alarm's set, bring in mail or packages, and keep things clean and tidy the whole time I'm there, like you never left. Safety on Walks: Dogs stay securely leashed, and I keep an eye out for other dogs, traffic, and Texas heat on the pavement. I'm also a bigger guy, so if your dog's a puller, gets nervous in busy spots and needs to be held close, or just needs a lift now and then, even a big dog, that's genuinely no trouble for me. Routine & Health Monitoring: I'll stick to your exact feeding, medication, and exercise routine, and I pay attention to how they're acting, eating, and moving so I notice early if something feels off. Communication: You'll get daily photos, a quick note on how walks and meals went, and a fast reply whenever you reach out, so you're not left wondering how things are going.
“Yihung is incredible with our pup Winnie. He took the time to visit her and take her around the block to make sure everything went smoothly. He shared plenty of photos along the way. No doubt, we’ll be regulars of Yihung moving forward!!”

About: Hii my name is Nizar! I have 7+ years of hands-on experience caring for pets. I’ve lived with both dogs and cats, and regularly help friends with pet sitting, walks, and daily care. I’m comfortable with all sizes, from small dogs to large breeds, and have experience with puppies through senior pets (up to 13 years old). I’m attentive, reliable, and always make sure pets feel safe, happy, and well cared for. I also provide regular photo updates so you always know how your pet is doing. I have a flexible schedule. I’m most available on weekends and Mondays/Fridays, and can also accommodate morning or evening visits during the week. I’m happy to work with your pet’s routine to ensure they get the care and attention they need. I live in a clean, pet-friendly apartment, in a very walkable neighborhood that’s great for regular walks and outdoor time. I make sure pets get plenty of exercise, attention, and a calm, comfortable environment while in my care. I’m also happy to follow your pet’s routine closely and can accommodate specific needs or preferences. If your pet is more comfortable in their own space, I’m also open to house sitting.

“She accepted my last minute request, so thankful! Also it was so comforting to know she looked at Fern’s profile closely and was very respectful. She took a lot of pics to show how much fun they had!”

“Michael is so good with our animals! He walked our dog, but also was super friendly with our 2 cats. He's super responsive, and is always sending cute pictures. I'd recommend Michael to anyone needing pet sitting or dog walking!”

“Juan was able to adjust the time of the walk based on the weather which was super helpful! Miller had a great time on his walk and was waiting by the door afterwards to go again. We’ll definitely be rebooking!”

About: Experience: -Pet parent of 17 years -Volunteer at EveryDog training -Pursuing re-certification in Pet CPR & First Aid -Experience with elderly dogs, puppies, and giving medication(s) I work P/T at Starbucks, so I’m available throughout the week for drop in visits or walks. I am available for recurring clients as needed. I follow instructions left by pet parents. They are the expert(s) on their furry family member(s). It is my responsibility to care for them and make sure they have a great visit while their family is away. I set up a meeting with potential clients for a meet and greet with their pet in advance to make sure we are a good fit.

I've spent multiple years caretaking and training anything from large zoo animals to small house pets. These years have provided me the confidence, experience and patience that is needed to give your little one the most loving care possible. I'm currently working entirely from home with the ability to set my own schedule. I'm available for boarding on the weekends and providing walks and check-ins all through the week. I have a cozy 2 bedroom 2 bath 1st floor apartment with an enclosed patio for your fur baby to spend some time sunbathing or breathing the fresh air. I also have 1 curious and cautious kitten who will spend most of the day napping or observing your little one.

Felt super comfortable having Kai stay at their house for the weekend with all the great pupdates. Would definitely book with Eddie again in the future”

“Valerie kept our cute Murphy for 7 days. He is notoriously shy and takes a long while to warm up to people. Just after a few days he felt at home. He actually enjoyed her backyard and even walked around her house. She was patient and so loving towards him. We highly recommend Valerie and will use her again if we are lucky enough to go on another family vacation.”

“George has the best time while at Sarah’s for 10 days! Sarah sent us daily updates with photos and videos. George can’t wait for his stay again in the future!!”

“I cannot say enough good things about Jason and Cassandra! They took such good care of my dog, Petra. “Milk’s visit with Somporn was seamless and stress free! I can tell he really enjoyed his short stay. I received updates on how he was adjusting within the first hour of dropping him off which was nice. I’m from out of town but would definitely rebook if that weren’t the case.”

“Sam was great with our dog and so easy to work with. He made sure our pup got all the attention and care he needed and then some—our pup was sad to have to leave. I appreciated the consistent updates and photos. We will be booking with him again.”

“Juan was flexible, understanding, and great with my dog, Hank! I can tell he felt right at home at Juan's. He was able to sunbathe in the yard, play outside, and lounge around as needed. Additionally, Juan's dog, Annie, is so friendly and matched my dog's energy from the start. He was comfortable immediately with her. Thanks again!! Would definitely book again in the future.”

“Christine and Colin took amazing care of my Tieghan! It was my first time leaving her with someone outside of family and I felt comfortable from the minute I dropped her off. They sent consistent pictures and updates on how she was doing throughout the 5 days I was gone and were really flexible with pick up and drop off times. Tieghan barely wanted to leave when I arrived to take her home and it was clear they really treated her as their own! I will absolutely be using Christine and Colin again and cannot recommend them enough.”
