“Our older dog had a great time with Josie and her lovely family! She was great communicating updates, gave our dog her medication with no issues. Our pup really enjoyed her yard and kids. Her dog is also amazing and super sweet! We are very grateful to Josie for taking such good care of our pet while my son and I attended college orientation nearby in Bozeman. We would love to book with her again in the future.”

“Gina and Dave were wonderful and my dog Wilbur loved staying with them for a few days! Gina provided updates even beyond anything I had expected, made sure Wilbur got outside and they had fun relaxing at home. I would definitely recommend Gina and have them keep Wilbur again!”

“Perfect stay for our labradoodle while we skied for the weekend! Perfectly located on the way up to Big Sky. Cait was great to communicate with and sent pics! Very happy.”

“Holly was great with my aussie, Draper! 😊 She clearly loves dogs. She practiced great safety in feeding separate, having separate areas if needed, having AC and access to water throughout the home so her dog and my dog could both enjoy their time together! Her puppy is sweet and had great manners with my dog. I was super confident my pup would be well taken care of while I was out. Would book again!”

“Naomi and her cat duchess were so good to my senior dog Cody. He was very happy and totally at ease when I went to pick him up. This was a last minute booking and Naomi was great about it. Would highly recommend her.”

“My dog had a wonderful time with Emma. Emma sent pictures through out the day and left messages to let me know how my dog was doing. I would certainly recommend you go with them for your sitting needs! It was a total relief to know my dog was in good hands while I was out of town.”

“Allie was absolutely amazing! She was so quick to respond and was able to dog-sit Jasper last minute on a holiday weekend. I am so appreciative of Allie and her dog Walter!”

About: Book using this link for $20 off ⬇️ https://www.rover.com/sit/finleu42698 For as long as I can remember I have always absolutely loved dogs! Growing up, my family had 2 gorgeous akitas which I cared for with the help of my brother their entire lives. I am so grateful to have never experienced life without dogs and I can't imagine life without a them now, but being a college student makes it difficult to have my own. To solve this problem, I downloaded Rover! I may not be able to have my own dog, but I'd love to take care of yours! I have experience taking care of dogs at all stages of life. I have been thoroughly involved in training puppies for my family members (just the basics: house training, sit, shake, recall, etc.) and took a brief dog psychology lesson my freshman year of college, so puppies are absolutely no problem for me! I also assisted in caring for my family dogs their whole lives, giving me experience with larger breeds and with senior dogs as they got older. Right now, I'm a student at Montana State University. I do have class throughout the day, but typically I have a break for a few hours earlier in the afternoon. I also have a job in the evenings, so unfortunately I can't give dogs who need constant supervision or attention the time they need. I still have plenty of time for independent, lower maintenance pups :) With the breaks in my schedule, I am available to drop by (roughly) 3 times a day while you're gone. I am an avid hiker, and am more than happy to take your babies on walks as long as they're comfortable with, whether that means an 8 mile trek through the woods or just a walk around the block.

About: I raised my first Golden Retriever, Finn, from 8 weeks old until he passed away at age 14. For eight years I had Finn, and his rescue-dog-mix sister until she passed at age 14. I now have a Golden Retriever puppy, and we are working on our training together. He would love another dog friend in the house on occasion. I love dogs, their unique personalities, and the joy they bring. I will treat your best friend the same as I treat my best friend. I work from home so your dog will be with me all day, except for the occasions where I have to run errands, appointments etc., or if I am headed anywhere dogs are not allowed to tag along. That said, I wouldn't be away from the dogs more than a few hours at a time. Dogs have several dog beds to lay on in the common areas. I have a fenced back yard with space for your dog to roam and romp. Lots of shade trees to cool off and nap under. If it’s a hot day I might fill the doggy pool for them to splash in. Your pup will get lots of love, pets, and cuddles.
“Erika and Tim are absolutely amazing!! Just total animal lovers and made us feel so comfortable leaving our dog child for a few days! LOTS of photos and update throughout the weekend on their adventures with him. Our dog can be a little slow to warm up to new people, but we could tell he loved them right away ❤️ I think we’re going to have to plan a special visit back to Bozeman in the future just to visit ☺️ Thanks, Erika and Tim! You guys rock!”

“I requested several nights within a week of needing a sitter and Patsy made everything very easy, from the meet and greet all the way to pick up. Leo had a great time! I would definitely use her again.”

“Sarah is awesome! Clearly she loves animals you can tell just by her effort she puts forth. Our little Gracie didn't want to leave and when we arrived at Sarah's house, Gracie was excited to see her which is unusual since she isn't around other people or dogs that often. We will absolutely be using Sarah again should we need a sitter and she is available! Sarah took us on a short three day notice not ever have kept Gracie, and that meant a lot to our family. We are thankful for her and all she did, especially sending pictures and videos showing Gracie having fun with her dogs!”

“Bonnie was super easy to communicate with and made sure she had a good understanding of my dogs needs throughout his stay. She updated me on how he was doing and made him feel right at home!”

“Raina provided excellent care for our dog Sienna. She quickly made Sienna feel comfortable, giving us peace of mind knowing our pup was in good hands. We got regular updates and Raina was always responsive with our communication, which was much appreciated as well! If you are in need of a thoughtful, responsive, and caring pet sitter, we would recommend Raina (& Ridley)!”

Haley did a fantastic job watching our dog, Bambi, while we were away in Pensacola visiting our son in the Marines. She took great care of her, made sure she was fed, took her on walks, and kept us updated while we were gone. It gave us a lot of peace of mind knowing Bambi was being so well cared for. We couldn’t be happier with the experience and would absolutely recommend Haley to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog sitter!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MT ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
