“Cassandra was a very responsible rover who gave Miley the comforting care she needed while I was away. She sent me updates and pictures, made sure dogs in the house got along, and followed care instructions. Cassandra has a same aged friendly dog that kept Miley company, and roommate(s) that also acted as an extra pair of eyes and assurance. I also had a flight to catch and Cassandra accommodated for an earlier drop off. Thank you! I highly recommend her services to any dog owner in the area!”

“Lillian was a fantastic sitter for our dogs, and everything we could ask for. She provided consistent and clear communication, photos and videos, and she made sure to exercise them multiple times a day. I would highly recommend Lillian to anyone.”

About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of dogs, with ages ranged from 1 to 13 years old. I have dog sat for friends, neighbors and co workers. I can administer medication if needed! I am currently not working over the summer so i am home full time, usually i take 2 long walks with my dog throughout the day and also 3-4 short walks as well. I have a 3 year old pup who loves to play, i also have a balcony and usually have the door open so they can come inside anytime!
“Gary was a great dog sitter for our active German Shorthair Pointer!!! He made sure Ruger was exercised every day and even allowed him to sleep in the house while there were fireworks being lit in the neighborhood!! The kennels were immaculate and Gary kept us updated on how Ruger was doing and even sent some photos and video. We were very pleased with our experience leaving our dog in Gary’s care. Thanks again 😊🐕🦺”
About: I've been watching dogs for 10+ years! I have a dog of my own so I understand the love and attention they need, especially when their owner is out of town! I'm a very active person - I can run, walk, hike, take your dog to swim, etc. I have experience providing care for younger dogs, as well as older and have administered medicine to dogs as well. I currently work full-time, but have a dog of my own which means I will take the time to carve out time for your dog! I wake up early to ensure my dog gets ample activity before I work, I can take out your dog during my lunch break if needed, and I always take my dog out when I get home after work for an extended period of time. My weekends are typically very free, meaning I have more time to take your dog for a hike, swim, dog park, fetch, or whatever their favorite activity of choice is. My dog is high energy and needs a lot of exercise, so I understand and am willing to do what it takes to ensure yours gets what it needs to be happy and healthy when you are away. I have a fenced in backyard and also a big open field (not fenced in) by my place where I typically take my dog for fetch! My dog is very friendly with all types/sizes of dogs, and is always up to play with other dogs if they want.
“Cait took great care of my dogs while I was away. I was given updates and photos daily, which reassured me that all was well. My dogs came home happy and I could tell that they were well taken care of.”

About: I have had pets all my life and have a strong connection to dogs. I recently completed an agility course with my dog, so I have some experience in training and I have also volunteered at Heart of the Valley! I have been a pet sitter in the past, but I’m new to the Rover app. I am fully available this summer and going into the fall! I just graduated and am taking a semester off, I’m also looking for a part time job currently so I will update my hours but I have a lot of free time that will be dedicated to your pet. I have a fenced yard and two friendly dogs to keep your pet extra company! I will give your pets extra snuggles and play time, if they would like! I will also offer course make sure they have food, water, and walks or exercise.
“Ashley was a fantastic communicator and sent pupdates. I was very comfortable leaving Nova with her. They did so many fun activities. I highly recommend Ashley and would definitely go with her again.”

About: Please be sure to read “Requested Information about your pet” section! Thank you! l've been caring for dogs/cats since I was young. I love playful and energetic animals, but I also have a special soft spot for seniors who need a little extra patience and love. I'm detail-oriented and attentive. I can follow a strict medical or feeding schedule as needed. Communication is a huge priority for me. I will keep you posted and reassured with daily updates and photos. I have plenty of time to give your pet attention and care. This is useful for pets with separation anxiety or those who need medication during the day. I share my home with two small dogs, so it's important that visiting pups are friendly. They enjoy playing, but are happy to give your pup space as well. We have a fenced backyard and a doggy door for easy outdoor access, but if your dog isn't used to one, I'm happy to let them in and out as needed.
“Kim and her family were so wonderful! They treated my young pup like a part of their family, and she had a such a blast swimming, hiking and hanging out with them. I was able to travel out of the country without worrying at all about her. I highly recommend Kim.”

About: I raised my first Golden Retriever, Finn, from 8 weeks old until he passed away at age 14. For eight years I had Finn, and his rescue-dog-mix sister until she passed at age 14. I now have a Golden Retriever puppy, and we are working on our training together. He would love another dog friend in the house on occasion. I love dogs, their unique personalities, and the joy they bring. I will treat your best friend the same as I treat my best friend. I work from home so your dog will be with me all day, except for the occasions where I have to run errands, appointments etc., or if I am headed anywhere dogs are not allowed to tag along. That said, I wouldn't be away from the dogs more than a few hours at a time. Dogs have several dog beds to lay on in the common areas. I have a fenced back yard with space for your dog to roam and romp. Lots of shade trees to cool off and nap under. If it’s a hot day I might fill the doggy pool for them to splash in. Your pup will get lots of love, pets, and cuddles.
About: I've been an animal lover and pet companion my entire life. I worked in veterinary hospitals previously and have achieved the highest possible volunteer status at Heart of the Valley Animal Shelter. I am experienced in working with animals from a wide range of backgrounds and needs, and I pride myself in providing care that keeps your furry family members safe and comfortable. I am an excellent communicator and very dependable, so you will never be left feeling in the dark or wondering what’s going on while your pet is in my care. I've cared for dogs of all sizes and breeds as well as cats, rabbits, reptiles, rodents, fish, horses, chickens, and goats. I am comfortable and experienced caring for seniors, pets with special needs, allergies and dietary restrictions, and pets that require medication. I hope that my experience with an array of animals of varying medical and behavioral profiles leaves you feeling confident that your family members are in good hands with me! I work remotely, making me capable of caring for your pet(s) in your home or my own. I have flexibility with my schedule, so I can accommodate most feeding, exercise, and break routines your pets are used to! I have a fenced yard on 1/3 of a acre, live in a quiet neighborhood near a paved trail, and am half a mile away from a small local dog park. Our pets are part of our family, and your pet is, too, while in my care! My two dogs and three cats are all allowed on furniture and beds. We separate everyone for feeding (and as needed when there are furry guests staying with us), and each animal in my home or that I care for experiences lots of snuggles, play time, exercise, and plenty of peace and quiet as well.
About: I’ve had dogs my whole life and love caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and energy levels. I’m active and spend a lot of time outdoors with my husky mix, Nugget, so your dog will get plenty of attention, exercise, and care. I prioritize safety, reliability, and communication, and I tailor my care to each dog’s individual needs and routine. Whether your pup loves adventure or prefers a calm companion, I’ll make sure they feel comfortable and well cared for while you’re away. I have a very flexible schedule and am available throughout the day for walks, drop-ins, and care. I’m able to accommodate morning, midday, and evening routines, and can be flexible depending on your dog’s needs. Whether your dog needs consistent daily care or occasional help, I’m happy to work with your schedule. I have a fenced yard with a dog door, so your dog can go in and out as they please, or I can close it off if you prefer. My dog (a husky) loves being outside and often relaxes on his outdoor bed, but I also have multiple dog beds inside and outside so your dog will always have a comfortable place to rest. We stay very active with multiple walks a day, and I usually bike with my dog once a day using a harness and leash for safe exercise. If that’s something you’d like for your dog, I’m happy to include that as well. I always adjust to each dog’s needs, comfort level, and routine to make sure they feel safe and at home. I also have seat belts and harnesses in the backseat of the car for the dogs while driving.
“I requested several nights within a week of needing a sitter and Patsy made everything very easy, from the meet and greet all the way to pick up. Leo had a great time! I would definitely use her again.”

“Joe took such great care of my dog, Ackee. He was an excellent communicator, sending me photos everyday and seemed super reliable. She’s looking forward to more time with Joe in the future!”

About: As a Miami native and seasoned concierge professional, I have over a decade of experience in house sitting, pet care, and plant maintenance. My deep love for animals and nature drives me to provide attentive, reliable care—whether it’s looking after your furry friends or keeping your plants thriving. You can count on me for dedicated pet sitting, dog walking, or watering services with the same care I’d give my own! I make my own schedule and work mostly from home, so I am available to go to you with very little to no notice in advance! I was a rescue schnauzer mom that had so much love for her pup (lost him Oct. 2023 👼 🌈 ). Over the last 20 years, I have taken rescues off of the streets and rehomed them... and with Maxie my schnauzer, I just knew he had to stay with me! I will care for your home and your pets as though they are my Maxie! You have my word.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Bozeman
Haley did a fantastic job watching our dog, Bambi, while we were away in Pensacola visiting our son in the Marines. She took great care of her, made sure she was fed, took her on walks, and kept us updated while we were gone. It gave us a lot of peace of mind knowing Bambi was being so well cared for. We couldn’t be happier with the experience and would absolutely recommend Haley to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog sitter!

Elyse is an incredible per sitter! It's clear she truly connects with pets, and her calm presence immediately made us feel comfortable leaving our dog in her care. She was flexible with scheduling, supportive of our dog's needs, and communicative throughout our trip. She made the entire process smooth for us, and we appreciated her so much. We highly recommend Elyse and look forward to using her in the future!

Haille was a wonderful sitter for our two big dogs while we were in Bozeman for a visit! She was a great communicator, sent photos, and overall took great care of the dogs while she had them. She made sure to go over everything they needed for their routine and ask all the questions specific to their individual needs. We could tell they were well taken care of. I'd definitely recommend Haille for your dog sitting needs!!

My escape artist dog ran off on Camille and she spent no less than 8 hours tracking him down and searching for him, and finally finding him (past midnight). She is undoubtedly the most dedicated pet sitter that exists in the world!!! Thank you and your friends, Camille!!!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MT ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
