I have prior experience in basic veterinary care and use critical thinking to best take care of your animals. I have also had dogs with advanced care needs, like medication administration. About: I’ve loved dogs forever and really enjoy spending time with animals! I volunteer as a foster for both dogs and cats with heart of the valley whenever I can. I pet sit (dogs & cats mostly) for friends and family and I’m always happy to accommodate any special routines or specific instructions. I work remote Monday to Friday. I’m available in the mornings and late afternoon during the week to check in, go for walks etc. Available for boarding weekends! If pet sitting through the week - I like to take a morning walk, a walk or play time in the yard (if applicable) at lunch and then a big walk, a run or to a dog park after work! If pet sitting over the weekend, still a minimum of 3 walks a day and I like to go for a bigger hike one of the days!

About: I grew up in a home with cats, dogs, horses, guinea pigs, and a parakeet, so caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life. I take pride in providing attentive, reliable care because I know how important consistency and compassion are for pets. Throughout my life I’ve been responsible for daily feedings and regular cleaning of horse stalls, bird cages, and litter boxes. In high school, I began pet sitting for neighbors’ cats and dogs and gradually expanded to helping other families in my community. I’ve since moved away from my family’s animals and would love the opportunity to continue caring for pets and supporting their owners. I choose my own hours at my current job so my schedule is very flexible and I’d be more than happy to make time to care for your pet! I make sure all essentials are met, including regular feeding, fresh water, a clean and safe environment, and bathroom needs. About: I spent much of my childhood working on a family farm that was both a working ranch and a wildlife rehab facility. It was there that I learned how to take care of all types of animals and also realized how therapeutic it was for me to be around animals. In 2020 I got Milo, who is my service dog. He is an 18lb Cavapoo who is trained to go everywhere with me. He is great with other dogs! I’m a student at MSU with a part time job at a preschool! I’m gone for maximum 6 hours at a time, but usually it’s not that long at all. Being around animals and taking on the responsibility of caring for them has always been healing for me. I take their safety very seriously. I am attentive to their energy, characteristics, and all around personality to ensure they feel safe and loved at all times. Each animal is different, and it is important to understand and develop personalized care for each one.

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is the depth of experience and genuine love I have for dogs of all kinds. Aside from having dogs my whole life, I’ve been walking and taking care of dogs for over six years, ranging from small 20 lb pups to 100 lb gentle giants. I’ve also cared for dogs with all different temperaments—from shy and skittish to super outgoing and energetic. I have two Shetland Sheepdogs of my own, so I know firsthand the joy and companionship dogs bring, as well as the challenges that can come with owning a dog, such as leash reactivity (which I have plenty of experience managing with my own dogs). In addition to walking and sitting, I’ve worked as a dog socializer, helping timid dogs build confidence and become less fearful of the world. Whether it’s providing extra patience to a nervous pup, giving structured walks to strong pullers, or showering extra love on a senior dog, I always adapt to what each pet needs. I’ve lived with dogs my whole life and truly believe they deserve the best care possible. Honestly, I love dogs so much that half the time I feel like meeting new dogs benefits me just as much as it benefits them! My goal is always to make your pets feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. I have had experience dealing with bad pet sitters, and know the stress that can come with leaving your dog with a new person, as well as how miserable it is when the person is not good. Please know that if you decide to go with me, your dog will only receive the best care, as I never want you or your dog to be unhappy! Pet care fits perfectly into my daily routine because I’m a college student with a very flexible schedule. This means I’m available for walks at any time of day, drop-in visits, or even overnight stays when needed. Seeing dogs is always the highlight of my day, and I know that joy will shine through in the care I give to your pup. Since I’m away from my own dogs while in college, I truly value the companionship and love that comes from spending time with other dogs—it’s something I need just as much as they do. About: I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life. I have watched all my friends and families dogs. I love taking them on walks and playing with them!! I’m currently a full time student at MSU while also being on the track and field team. I have time in between classes and practice to go check on the dog as well as evenings. I am also available on the weekends!! I am able to keep/crate at my apartment for a few days as well as house sit. While the dog would be here at my apartment I would provide a warm, loving, and welcoming environment. I am able to take the dog to parks to get all it’s energy out!!

About: Spent years riding horses and working in barns. Have always had cats and dogs and love working with them. Very devoted to animals and animal welfare. I’m looking for a full-time position but will have availability on the weekends and occasionally during the weeks to walk and take care of your pups! Very devoted to the animals in my care, I try to keep constant attention and awareness of what they’re up to and making sure that they’re healthy and happy! Happily willing to crate any doggos if necessary :)
