About: I grew up on a farm and have always had animals around me. I subcontracted for a Rover pet sitter for 6 months as well as pet sitting for family and friends for the past several years. I am currently working Sunday through Friday and occasional Saturdays. I start at 10:30 and my hours range from 2 to 6 hours a day While in the clients home caring for their pets, I do what is needed to make sure their pet is as comfortable as possible, and try to stick to their daily routine as closely as possible.
“Keely was great! She came by to meet the boys prior to our vacation and checked in regularly letting us know how they were doing. She was kind and attentive and took all our notes in stride. We would definitely recommend!”

“Daria is the best! She took great care of our Coon Hound and Catahoula/Mountain Cur mix dogs with ease and lots of love and care! I felt so at peace while we were on our day adventure in Yellowstone knowing that Daria was with them at home. I would give her 10 stars if it was possible. Thank you Daria!”

About: Hi all! I am originally from Bozeman and grew up with dogs- I enjoy going for walks and going to dog parks as well as just cuddling on the couch! I am a full time employee at the hospital and can easily do drop in walks or visits and will only accept jobs where I can meet the level of care your pet needs. I treat pets like a part of my family- since I am a renter I am unable to board animals at my house but would follow any guidelines set up by a client to make their pet feel like they are with family.

About: I’ve grown up taking care of cats and dogs my whole life! Living in the same neighborhood during my childhood, I was the go-to pet sitter on the street. I love creating a safe and loving space for animals, and ensuring you enjoy your time away knowing your pet is taken care of! I’m currently working at a coffee shop, the shop closes at 2, leaving my afternoon and nights open to spending time with your furry family members! I live in town, nice and close to most places. I have my transportation and reliability ready to go to provide trustworthy, consistent, and safe care for your family.
“Taylor was on time for everything, followed through with all the details, was great with our pets, and a pleasure to work with throughout the entire process start to finish.”

About: I have taken care of pets for a while now. From horses to wiener dogs I have done it all! I started out just taking care of family pets and then slowly I started to hear from other people around town. I love taking care of any sort of dog they are my favorite. Whether the dog needed insulin or two walks a day I would do it. I love animals of all ages and taking care of them is so much fun! I am currently a student at MSU, my schedule has gaps in it so I would be able to go and let the animals out or check in on them when I am not in class. I currently live in the dorms so I would need to take care of the pet in the clients home. I am responsible and respectful young adult who will keep your home and pet in great condition.

Kaelleh is very kind, attentive, and detail-oriented. She was wonderful with my animals to include horses, dogs, and a cat. I would not hesitate to recommend her, she checks in consistently and sends detailed photos and a list of what she did during that day. I feel very lucky to have had her help while I was away.

We couldn’t have asked for a better pet sitter! Daria took incredible care of Simon and Theo, sending detailed updates and lots of photos after every visit, which gave us so much peace of mind. She truly went above and beyond—playing with them, thinking through what would make them most comfortable, and even leaving our home spotless by cleaning around the litter box and refreshing their food and water bowls. We came home to two happy cats and an immaculate house. We would absolutely book her again and highly recommend her!

Marina was a wonderful sitter for our cats while we were away. She was reliable, punctual, and communicated consistently, sending photos and updates every day. Our cats can be a little hesitant with new people, but she took the time to engage them in play and they quickly warmed up to her. She was warm, friendly, and clearly cared about their well-being. She even happily FaceTimed with us when we were missing them, which we really appreciated. We came home to happy, well-cared-for cats and would absolutely book with her again.

Kaeli was very quick to respond upon my initial request to check in on our cat for a long weekend. She communicated very well to meet us prior to committing, and Kaeli was immediately a friendly, easy going and trustworthy sitter. She updated me with each visit and sent photos so we had peace of mind. I’m so happy to have found Kaeli and will absolutely be using her for future jobs!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Bozeman. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
