Walks, Sniffs, & Kudos for Your Pup
Hi! I grew up with dogs and have loved being around them my whole life. While I don’t currently have one of my own (apartment life!), I still get plenty of dog time regularly watching my friends’ pups. I have experience with dogs of all sizes, personalities, and energy levels, from high-energy pups and puppies to reactive dogs and senior fur babies. I love getting outside for walks, hikes, runs, and playtime, and I enjoy getting to know each dog’s unique personality. I treat every dog like they’re my own and make sure they get plenty of attention, care, and exercise while you’re away. I’m always happy to send photo updates so you can see how your pup is doing! If we go on a longer walk or run, don’t be surprised if your dog ends up getting bragged about on my Strava. I can share the activity with you too if you’d like to follow along on our miles.

Pumpkin gets anxious when we leave town, so finding Vanessa has been a game changer. He gets more excited to see her than literally anyone else, which tells you everything you need to know. She gives him so much love and exercise, handles his quirks without missing a beat, and clearly goes above and beyond. We trust her completely and can't recommend her enough.
Vanessa is my go-to dog sitter, I have never once been worried about the care of my pet in her hands. She always puts the needs of any dog she is watching in front of her own. In my experience I have seen most dogs gravitate towards her calming energy and demeanor as she creates a safe environment for them. Her active lifestyle is suitable for most dogs that need to get wiggles out. I couldn't recommend Vanessa more, she is a legend.
Vanessa is hands down the best dog sitter I could ask for. She’s incredibly responsible, attentive, and truly treats Nico like he’s her own. Nico is an active guy, and Vanessa always makes sure he gets plenty of exercise and adventure -whether that’s long walks or fun hikes. What really sets her apart is how much she genuinely cares. She goes the extra mile every time and loves my sweet boy with her whole heart. I always feel completely at ease knowing Nico is with her. Calendar and availability
Schedule
I work full time as an engineer with a typical weekday 9–5 schedule, but I’m able to take dogs out during my lunch break. I’m also available before and after work, and mornings, evenings, and weekends are great for longer walks, hikes, or runs depending on your dog’s energy level. I live a pretty low-key lifestyle and spend most of my free time reading, at the gym, or out hiking. That makes it easy for me to give pets lots of attention and quality time during visits or walks.

Safety, trust & environment
I’m attentive to each dog’s needs and routine and always prioritize safety on walks and during visits. I’m careful about things like secure leashing, avoiding unsafe situations with other dogs, and paying attention to body language and energy levels. I’m happy to follow any instructions you have for your pet’s care, including feeding routines, medications, preferred walking routes, or training cues. My goal is to keep your pet comfortable and maintain the routine they’re used to while you’re away. At this time I’m not able to host pets in my apartment, but I’m happy to provide walks, drop-in visits, or care in your home.
