Pet care experience

I can't wait to love your pup!

Book using this link for $20 off ⬇️ https://www.rover.com/sit/finleu42698 For as long as I can remember I have always absolutely loved dogs! Growing up, my family had 2 gorgeous akitas which I cared for with the help of my brother their entire lives. I am so grateful to have never experienced life without dogs and I can't imagine life without a them now, but being a college student makes it difficult to have my own. To solve this problem, I downloaded Rover! I may not be able to have my own dog, but I'd love to take care of yours! I have experience taking care of dogs at all stages of life. I have been thoroughly involved in training puppies for my family members (just the basics: house training, sit, shake, recall, etc.) and took a brief dog psychology lesson my freshman year of college, so puppies are absolutely no problem for me! I also assisted in caring for my family dogs their whole lives, giving me experience with larger breeds and with senior dogs as they got older.

Finley was amazing!! She was super communicative and took great care of our dog while we were out of town for 5 days. She left our place very clean and even washed the sheets and towels before we got back in town. We will definitely be reaching out to her again in the future!

Finley watched Tuuli and my home for a weekend. She has a lot of experience with dogs, including unique breeds that have strong personalities. She was always quick and clear in her communication and gave tuuli plenty of exercise. Would absolutely recommend!

Schedule

Right now, I'm a student at Montana State University. I do have class throughout the day, but typically I have a break for a few hours earlier in the afternoon. I also have a job in the evenings, so unfortunately I can't give dogs who need constant supervision or attention the time they need. I still have plenty of time for independent, lower maintenance pups :)

Safety, trust & environment

With the breaks in my schedule, I am available to drop by (roughly) 3 times a day while you're gone. I am an avid hiker, and am more than happy to take your babies on walks as long as they're comfortable with, whether that means an 8 mile trek through the woods or just a walk around the block.

A typical day

I am very active person, and your dogs are up for it I love having a hiking buddy! While walks might take the cake, I would be happy to do anything with your dog- especially if it gets me outside!

FOR BOARDING CLIENTS: While I wish I could host everyone’s dog, it’s important to note that I am renting an apartment with no yard for them to go in and out as they please while I’m not home. I do however live in a very walkable area of Bozeman, so walks as I have time and outside play at parks is accessible! If your dog needs frequent potty breaks, is a barker, or gets destructive when left alone, I cannot board them. It’s also important to keep in mind that my neighbors have small children. While it’s unlikely they’d be interacting with your dog, I can’t board aggressive dogs (Just in case we run into anyone in the hallway or outside). If boarding isn’t going to be a good fit, I’d be more than happy to chat about housesitting or drop ins :)
