About: I grew up with dogs so I have experience with puppies - older dogs. I enjoy dogs of all ages and sizes. I have years of experience walking and dog sitting friends, families and neighbors dogs. I work from home / remotely so I have the flexibility to take care of your dog during the day and make sure they get the activity needed throughout the day. Will be available on weekends with enough notice. In my home I have a yard that dogs can access with a great walking area on leash. For taking care of a dog in clients home I will make sure there is nothing the dog can get into and check the surrounding environments to make sure the dog is protected at all times with out limiting activity.
About: I've taken care of dogs since before I was 10. I grew up with German Shepherds, an Alaskan Husky, as well as a Shih Tzu who ruled the roost. I rescued a pup over 9 years ago so am a dog mom to a loving Terrier mix. Neighbors, friends and family have relied on me to walk and take care of their pets. I work from home, so I have flexibility to give your dog attention throughout the day and take them on adventures. I live near an off-leash dog park and am an avid hiker, so I’m happy to get outside with active pups. I’m also available for daytime dog sitting. I have a spacious, comfortable home and one friendly dog to keep your pup company. I’m attentive to each dog’s individual needs and routine, and I’m also happy to provide care in your home when that’s the better fit.

“Emma is awesome and her dog Nova is super sweet & cute! Emma was a good communicator and I felt great leaving my dog with her. Emma was very patient with my nervous dog being anxious at the start of her stay. Thanks a million Emma! Would definitely re-book.”

“Kelly was very easy to work with, communicative and despite some extraneous circumstances, Kelly went above and beyond to make sure that Cash was well taken of. Very grateful for her commitment.”

About: Hi everyone, I’m Mackenzie! I’m 30 years old, a momma to a crazy 1 year old, and I’ve had dogs my whole life. We have relocated to MT from CA. I grew up around/in a grooming van that my mother worked for when I was little. I have background as a kennel technician for an animal hospital. I gave up my career as a 911 dispatcher to be at home full time with our little one and have a passion for loving on furry animals. I have 5 babies now; 2 German shepherd mixes that I rescued and 3 reptile babes! We’re all calm in this little pack but I have experience with all types of temperaments. Dog hair is a permanent part of my wardrobe, a fashion statement truly. I will stick to any feeding schedule, medication schedule, or walk schedule they are used to. Regardless if your fur baby is old, young, or in between. Has lots of energy or is a couch potato. They will have someone cuddle with and cater to all their furry needs. They will always have tons of love, care, and fun with me! I currently work from home and take care of our little one full time. Open to any kind of schedule your fur baby needs to feel the most at home. Any requests, requirements, or routines will be followed thoroughly. If you prefer I don’t open any garage doors until after you have pictures of your babies inside the house and safe and locked up? That’s fine with me I will provide updates for anything you need including pictures! You trust me with your pets the least I can do is keep them safe.

“Gina and Dave were wonderful and my dog Wilbur loved staying with them for a few days! Gina provided updates even beyond anything I had expected, made sure Wilbur got outside and they had fun relaxing at home. I would definitely recommend Gina and have them keep Wilbur again!”

“Our dog had a wonderful time at Sarah’s house! Sarah took her on walks, hikes and trips to the creek. Our dog was happy and tired when we picked her up and we would definitely ask Sarah to watch our pup again!”
“Allie was absolutely amazing! She was so quick to respond and was able to dog-sit Jasper last minute on a holiday weekend. I am so appreciative of Allie and her dog Walter!”

“Katherine was such a fabulous dogsitter. She was our first Rover and she set the bar so high. She is a great communicator, she was flexible with us when our trip plans changed and was flexible with planning around drop off/pick up. She sent us daily updates of their adventures with pics and videos. We kept joking the dog was having a better vacation than we were. We would absolutely send our pup to stay with Katherine and Nuggets again and would happily recommend her to others.”

“My dog had a wonderful time with Emma. Emma sent pictures through out the day and left messages to let me know how my dog was doing. I would certainly recommend you go with them for your sitting needs! It was a total relief to know my dog was in good hands while I was out of town.”

About: What started as a simple way to make some extra money with my love for pets has turned into my passion! Your pets will feel loved and cherished in my hands and you can be worry free! I will be taking care of pets full time, including being a dog grooming assistant twice a week, and the rest of the time I will be able to give my full attention to your pet! I live in an apartment with no yard, but there are lots of places to go on walks and parks nearby to play!

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Belgrade
Thankfully Tara accepted our request to watch out dog for two nights. There were so many other sitters that did not acknowledge our booking request. You can tell Tara is very good with animals. She sent plenty of pictures and took great care of her. Tara was great to work with as well.

My two beagles recently enjoyed two separate stays with Amy. She was great to work with, being very responsive to scheduling requests and doing a pre-stay meet-up with us. She has a great little yard for dogs to enjoy outside time as well as taking them for walks each day. My dogs were happy to arrive at her house for their second stay, which goes to show that they felt safe in her care. I would highly recommend Amy!

Carrie made me and my puppies feel safe on my one-week trip. She stayed out the house so Dan and Ann could go out much more frequently which is tough in the winter unless someone is staying there. Carrie took great care of them so I could really enjoy my time back east with my kids and grandkids and NOT worry about my dog kids! Mark Tippett
Samantha was wonderful! She took such great care of my pups, making sure all the dogs got along with each other, and running my energetic pup everyday. She somehow managed to give my dogs back with better behavior, and sent at least daily updates with pictures and videos to make me feel better about leaving them.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MT ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
