I was in such a panic but she reassured me that she would take great care of my baby! She was flexible, patient, and kind. About: I've had experience taking care of dogs since I was the age of 10 years old. I have done this for family and friends for many years and even assist with grooming needs. I also have experience with giving medications to pets as I have worked as a veterinary assistant in the past. I am currently working at an elementary school but going to school to allow me to have a work from home job. Until then I am more free in the afternoon and evening but I am able to free up some time in the morning to help out. During the summer I do summer camp, working the afternoon/evening shift; however, I am able to adjust my schedule as needed. I have a fenced in yard here at my house so my dogs have free range of the back yard, however when we did not have one we had them out at least every hour. Our dogs get feed twice a day, morning and night, but I can switch however to fit your pet best! During my free time my boyfriend and I like to take our dog, Rico, to go hiking and swimming. We would love to be able to bring him a friend!

About: I've taken care of cats all my life and dogs from time to time. From back when I was a teen at home with our family cat to my own Tuxedo Kiwi I've been caring for cats all my life. I have a deep understanding of cat body language, respecting their boundaries, and providing the attention and care they need. I work from home as a software developer and am looking for something to break up my day between calls and project tasks. Being a remote worker means I don't get much excitement day to day. Let me change up my day to day by helping you out with your pets! I live in my own home with plenty of space for walks, trails nearby for exploring, and an open and clean home for time away from the sun.

About: I have been around all kind of pets since I was 6 and I am good with getting them up and playing and making sure they move and get exercise! I am currently on the hunt for a job as I just moved to Virginia but I can always work around my schedule to get people the pet care they need In my clients home, I will follow the rules they have set in stone and the way they want things done with their pets as everyone is different about how they would like things done.

About: I have grown up with animals and pets my whole life. Growing up by farm in Germany, I fostered a love and care for all animals and I am my happiest when I’m with them. While I have always owned cats myself, I also have experience with dog-sitting (including walking, playing (of course☺️), and minor allergy medications). I adore pups/cats and am excited to care for your little ones! I currently work 3 days a week in EMS (W-F) and am very flexible outside of these hours to love and care for your pets. Safety is of utmost importance!! When leaving the house, I will ensure all doors are locked. I will keep an eye out to make sure your dog doesn’t try to eat something they shouldn’t or bring things into your home. I will also keep an eye on other animals around your pet, especially when walking and leaving the home. I have two cats of my own - Flo & Mo. While one is apprehensive, the other is goofy (and very orange). Every pet is different and I will respect their needs and comfort zones while in their space.

“Sarah was awesome! Her knowledge from working in a shelter came in handy when one of my dogs was being difficult. She took great photos and left a wonderful description about their time together. Can’t wait to have Sarah come back to hang out with my boys.”

About: I have three fur babies, golden retriever x2, and a blue heeler mix. Having animals is such pure joy. The dogs run the home, I just live here! Dog hair and slobbery kisses … I wouldn’t want it any different. My fur babies are happy and very generous to other animals. We have fun here. So bring your dog over, let them jump on the couch, and play with my pups! I work part time, but have a very flexible schedule. I have two boys at home that would give your pups all the love they need. I have a small fenced in yard for your pups. We enjoy talking walks, and playing fetch. My fur babies are the sweetest things and will get along with your pups!

About: Hi, I’m Makenzie! I’m an ETSU graduate (May 2021), lifelong animal lover, and proud pet parent. My pets are my world, and I’d love the opportunity to give your furry (or feathered!) family members the same love and care I give my own. Growing up, I regularly dog sat, cat sat, and house sat—it’s always been something I truly enjoy. These days, I visit the local animal shelter several times a week to spend time with the cats and dogs there. Animals have always been a light in my life, and caring for them brings me so much joy. I offer dog walks, drop-in visits, and pet sitting in the Roanoke/Bonsack area. I’m trustworthy, reliable, friendly, and hard-working, and I’m happy to provide references. I’ll always follow your care instructions, keep your pets safe and happy, and send you daily check-ins so you have peace of mind while you’re away. Availability: • Flexible schedule thanks to my work as a case manager • Mornings, afternoons, and evenings depending on the day • Always available on weekends Your pets will be treated like family, every single time. 💛 I start every day caring for my own pets, and I treat each animal I meet as if they were my own. I’m fortunate to have a flexible job, which allows me to fit pet care seamlessly into my mornings, afternoons, or evenings. I tailor my care to each pet’s unique needs. I never leave an animal unattended outdoors and always make sure they’re safe, comfortable, and happy.

About: Hello! I am a responsible, dependable, young working professional but a lady of many trades! One of those side gigs includes pet sitting furbabies! I am very outdoorsy and enjoyed hiking and trail running with my dogs (my Jack Russell Terriers recently passed away). :( In my undergrad days I worked for a professional petsitter company and have checked on a variety of critters over the years. I have cared for pets in a variety of settings; including overnight visits, transports, daily walks or just hanging out for play time. I would be happy to take your fur baby out for a hike or a game of fetch! I've cared for everything from puppies, horses, farm animals, wheel chair doggies, old kitties and everything in between! As a child I had a desire to be a vet and much prefer spending time with animals (small and large) over humans! When I am not out in the forest adventuring you can usually find me hanging with cute fur babies and talking to them like they are humans. :) I am also human wilderness first aid and CPR trained. I try to work with people on scheduling as best I can! I have a fairly flexible schedule but need a heads up to accommodate usually. I am a early riser and let my dog out super early so welcome early a.m. visits as your place or mine. Can also accommodate hectic travel schedules, I.e met at airport late flight arrivals, change of plans. I have a unfenced yard but plenty of property for daily walks. Property sits against fenced in horses on 1 side. I am routinely around during the day.

About: I’ve volunteered at many animals shelters, worked on farms, and been a pet sitter for many family and friends. I’ve grown up with dogs and cats of all different sizes, absolutely love animals and don’t worry your babies will get lots of love!! I do school online so I have plenty of time to take your babies out or check on them as needed! I keep my calendar updated so if it’s open I’m available! I have a friendly dog that could keep your pup company during the day and a fenced in yard. I have no problem staying the night with your dog if needed!

“Mandy will go above and beyond for your doggos! We had to leave our dogs for the first time and she came and walked them, made sure they had food and water and was even willing to clean up some. She has really put our minds at ease while being out of town and will definitely use her services in the future ?”

“Katie is so amazing, very down to earth and understanding of my dogs quirks and needs. Super excited to have found such a sweet person to help me with my dog Dakota. Will definitely be booking again.”

About: I have been taking care of dogs since I was 10 years old. Throughout my life there has always been a dog in my home and 3 dogs at once for the most. My family has rescued dogs and given them the best second chance at life possible! Those dogs have come from horrible conditions and were met with countless walks, treats, and cuddles when they found their forever home with my family and I. My animal care experience ranges from puppies as young as 6 weeks old and senior dogs who need regular medication. My love for animals has extended far beyond my own as my friends rely on me to watch their pets when they cannot. My love for animals can even be seen in my education as I am minoring in assistance dog training at my university. This program has given me countless hours of caring for puppies and training dogs around 1 1/2 years old to be service dogs. I have extensive education in dog behavior and training and love finding ways to involve animals in my daily life. I have a singular dog in my home right now but am free throughout the day to check in and walk your pets! I have a few dog sitting gigs throughout the summer but plenty of time during the day to make sure your pets needs are met! I have one dog in my home and she is treated like a queen! We regularly play outside, get pup cups, go for walks, and cuddle on the couch. I am always finding excuses to buy her new toys and take silly pictures of her. When I am taking care of clients pets I treat them like my own while following the owners specific guidelines. I am good at sticking to feeding timelines and giving medication if that is needed. I love them like my own so they are happy while their owners are away.

About: Life long animal lover and pet parent, who recognizes that our furry friends are our family and deserve the best care and consideration! I've taken care of animals since I was kiddo, and currently share a roof with three cats and one pup. My availability varies, as I work in the Events field, but I am ready and interested to take on regular weekday workday (9-5) walking duties with your pups! As a guest in your home, I will show your space and family the utmost respect. Being invited into your family's space is a privilege.
