Portland has a great dog-friendly area in Nob Hill. Start out your day with a stop for a meal and a cold one at the Lucky Labrador Beer Hall. As the name indicates, this beer hall is dog-friendly!
Next, grab some kombucha on tap for you and a puppuccino for your dog at Java Hound Coffee Bar. Head west on NW Quimby and turn left on NW 20th Ave, turn right on NW Lovejoy Street and turn left on NW 23rd Street where you’ll arrive. This local favorite spot is actually located IN a pet store!
Next up, head to the International Rose Test Garden for beautiful city views. Continue south on NW 23rd toward Hoyt Street until you get to W. Burnside St. Head west on W. Burnside Street to head west.
Take note that it’s an uphill climb to reach the garden, so make sure your pup is well-rested!

Washington Park and International Rose Test Garden – MAC Trail

The International Rose Test Garden is a massive landscaped rose garden located in Washington Park that is home to more than 10,000 rose bushes of approximately 650 different varieties.
The roses bloom from April through October with the peak coming in June, depending on the weather. Dogs are allowed in Washington Park but must be on a leash and picked up after.
