Catering, dresses, and cakes are important, but your wedding wouldn’t be complete without your pet by your side. If you’re looking for the best places for dogs in weddings in Dallas, you’ve found them. Check out our list of the best dog-friendly venues in the area.

1. Hickory Street Annex

501 2nd Ave. Dallas, TX 75226

This historic loft space with exposed brick, steel trusses, and wood ceilings is the perfect place for your dog-friendly wedding. Your dog is allowed throughout the venue. If he needs a break from the action, a grassy area with a pet station is provided outside. Huge windows line the walls and give views of downtown Dallas. This large venue can accommodate up to 200 guests for a great party and works with a variety of caterers.

Rates of rental are $3,000-$6,000 for weekdays and $8,000 for Saturdays. If you’re looking for the best place in Dallas for dogs in weddings, this is it.

2. The Joule

1530 Main St. Dallas, TX 75201

This revitalized 1920’s neo-Gothic hotel in the heart of the city’s business district is an elegant wedding spot. Choose from two different ballrooms or a rooftop deck for your event. The Joule is a full-service venue offering event planning and a master chef to help you customize your day. The Joule welcomes your dog in the wedding space of your choice and in your hotel room, but not in the restaurant or spas. The luxury accommodations of this hotel are not only a great place for your dog to relax, but for your guests as well, with 160 guest rooms and suites available.

This venue can accommodate up to 325 guests and rental starts at $10,000.


3. 2616 Commerce Event Center

2616 Commerce St. Dallas, TX 75226

This enormous venue has three separate event spaces to choose from and depending on the space you choose, can host from 50 to 1,000 guests. The first-floor ballroom has brick walls, and exposed ceiling, leather lounge-booths, and a separate bar area. The elegant penthouse is lit by a gorgeous chandelier and includes with two private balconies.  Upstairs is a 4,500 square foot rooftop deck with skyline views of downtown Dallas. Your dog is allowed in the space you choose but must be kept on-leash or under voice control throughout his time there. If you need someone to be in charge of your pet during the big day, check out Rover sitters.

Rental costs for this venue range from $4,500-$6,500.


4. Willow Creek Wedding and Event Venue

415 S Westmoreland Rd. Waxahachie, TX 75167

Located on a 12 beautifully landscaped acres with a tree-lined creek, this venue is a lovely, outdoorsy place for a wedding. If you choose Willow Creek, you have access to all of the outdoor spaces, as well as a white chapel gazebo, a classic red barn, the classic main house, and elegant reception hall and atrium. The bride’s suite and groom’s lounge allow plenty of space for you and your wedding party to prepare for the big day. Your dog is welcome only in the outdoor areas of this venue and may only stay during the ceremony. You can find a Rover sitter if you need someone to care for your pet at a separate location while you celebrate.

Rental of Willow Creek starts at $3,200.


5. The Hall on Dragon

1500 Dragon St. Dallas, TX 75207

Located in the Design District, this sophisticated venue is newly renovated. The elegant ballroom has dramatic 14-foot ceilings, a brass bar with mother-of-pearl top, and can accommodate up to 700 guests. A beautiful bride’s room and groom’s suite allow you to relax and prepare for your big day in comfort. Your dog is welcome to attend your ceremony only and must be kept on-leash. If you need someone to care for your pet at a separate location while you celebrate, Rover sitters are available.

The Hall on Dragon rents for $3,000-$4,750 weekdays and Sundays or $6,000 for Saturday nights.
