“Ian was so helpful when my work schedule changed for a couple of days. He was able to find time to walk Scout and adjust to my longer hours. Ian is always dependable and trustworthy. He has been working with Scout for about six months and we are so happy to have his expertise, as well as a positive attitude, to do the job the right way. He doesn’t cut corners and he shows a genuine interest in Scout. ❤️”

About: I have a lovely older black lab mix named Izzie and have fostered 30+ dogs from puppies to seniors. I am also a frequent volunteer at the Orange County Animal Rescue, a trainer and puppy raiser through Canine Companions (a program training seeing eye dogs), and have assisted with canine psychology research at Duke University. Most of all, I’m an animal lover of all kinds, shapes, and sizes! I am fairly flexible in the upcoming weeks, able to sleep over for house stays, and have a car for pop-in visits however frequently your pet may need. The pet will always be my first priority. I am able to take pets out for as many potty breaks as necessary, sleep in the room with them if they suffer from separation anxiety, and deliver medicine in a timely manner.

“Jeannie is amazing! Our puppy isn’t used to being alone all day so we were worried that she wouldn’t adjust well to our new work schedule - it’s clear that having Jeannie stop by has eased the transition for our dog & now she looks forward to it! Our dog is so much more calm when we get home. Jeannie is super reliable and communicative. We feel lucky to have her as our Rover :)”

About: I have taken care of family dogs as well as friend and family pets since the age of 15. I have experience pet sitting two senior dogs regularly as well as fostering a cat recently. I currently work from home every day but Wednesdays, so I am available for pet walking during lunch hour from 12-1 on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. I am available after 5 PM on Tuesdays-Fridays. I have flexible availability on weekends, so long as I am not traveling. Since I plan to only drop in to the pet’s environment, I will detail what I have done in the past. I usually announce myself as I am coming in the door and make sure the pet is visible before I approach or I let them approach me. I am very respectful of pets’ autonomy and always remain mindful of this when feeding, walking, and playing with animals.

About: I have been taking care of family and friends pets since I was 13. I focus on building a personal connection with every dog, offering customized care that fits their needs and individual personalities. I also provide constant updates, so you never miss a wagging tail or happy moment. To me your dog isn’t just a pet, they’re family. I am currently a part-time Disney travel agent, and full-time dog mom. I have fairly open availability and flexibility to fit you and your pet’s needs. Accepting Drop-In and Walk requests between the hours of 9:30am-4pm When pets stay in my home, they’re treated just like family! I create a cozy, pet-friendly space full of room to play or relax. I live on the first floor of my apartment complex, so pets with mobility issues won’t have any issues. I’ll also stick to your pet’s routine - feeding, walks, and cuddle time - so that they feel as comfortable as possible. Plus I’ll be sure to give them plenty of attention and affection ensuring they have a fun and safe stay.
