About: As the VP of a dog rescue and senior shelter volunteer for many years, there isn't an animal I don't feel comfortable handling. From young puppies to seniors, to active dogs and dogs that need patience or positive reinforcement training, I am here to help! I am currently a part of the Department of Education reduction in force, so I have a flexible schedule mornings through mid-afternoon, Mondays through Fridays. I will follow whatever instructions you provide for your dog. If you'd like your dog to get some socialization, I am happy to include our personal dog who is incredibly dog social and tolerant. Please message me if you are interested in that at no extra charge. I am experienced with dogs that are not dog social as well, in addition to reactive dogs and dogs that are wary with people. Really, anything you and your pup need, I am here to provide.

About: I’ve been an animal lover since a kid, and am excited to care for your pet! I’m a grad student in MD and am a proud pet parent of 2 Yorkie-mix dogs. I have experience with pet feeding, long walks, and fun playtime. I’m also comfortable administering medications and caring for dogs of all sizes. My husband and I are fairly flexible, and I often work from home. We have a large backyard where your dog(s) can safely play and enjoy the outdoors. I’m a grad student who has a very flexible schedule. I walk the dogs around 7:30am, brush their teeth, and set out their food. I also go on midday walks so they are mentally and physically stimulated. My husband takes the dogs out for long walks in the evenings as well. We are happy to include your pets into this schedule or add any additional care into this routine per your request and/or according to your pet’s needs. I have a large yard and 2 lovable pups that can keep your dog(s) company. We go on frequent walks and bathroom breaks around our quiet neighborhood and have tons of play space around the house. I am happy to honor any requests to care for one family’s pets at a time, and will absolutely treat your pet(s) as if they were my own.

Your dog will have plenty of play time with my dogs in my fenced in yard, daily walks, and I enjoy training basic commands and leash walking. *Note: I am not the right fit for dogs who need to be the only dog in the sitter’s home. I work from home M-F with a flexible schedule that allows for plenty of yard play and neighborhood walks. Because my work hours are different each day, mid day dog walking is not possible for me unless you live in the Hyattsville/Bladensburg/Riverdale area of Maryland. Communication, safety, and advocating for your dog’s needs are of utmost importance to me. For example, my dog loves trail runs, hikes, and trips to the dog park. Should your dog enjoy any of those activities, you can trust that I will be attentive to their needs and advocate for them in different environments. If you’re not sure but want me to try, I’ll be attuned to your dog’s cues and respect their communication. I will not push them past their limits - they need to know I have their back. I have one large and one small crate should your dog be used to crate sleeping or in the process of crate training. Let’s discuss what your dog needs to feel comfortable when we connect.

About: I believe that every child should grow up with the unconditional love of a pet. We rescued our first to grow up with our adult daughter and our newest addition has grown up with my teenage daughter. Their dogs have ultimately become my dogs because I secretly enjoy their company ☺️ Like Many, Working from home had become the normal and now that many of you are returning to in person work schedules I've decided to care for fur babies that have grown accustomed to the warmth and undivided attention of their companions. I'm free most weekdays. And after drop offs my Koby 🐶 and I go on walks in the neighborhood. And we venture the school's neighborhood at pickup. So in between your pet can be as lazy or as active as he, she or they wants. I have a large fenced back yard for playing and a huge front and back porch for lounging. Our home provides open space and cozy spaces for relaxing.

We have a storm door so your doggie can’t run out, and I always make sure your doggie is on a leash outside your doggie’s happiness and safety are my top priority.
