“I’m so lucky I found Hannah. She’s the sweetest girl and very professional. She’s always on time and follows instructions perfectly. She sends pictures of my dog to me during her visits, and you can see how happy my dog is when she comes to visit him! I’m so grateful to her! Thanks Hannah! You’re the best!”

“Laura is so nice, friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. I know my two huskies can be a handful, but I felt so at ease having her stop by to let them go potty and eat dinner while I was out of town on a day trip. I was able to enjoy my time and not have to worry about their safety. She was sure to clarify any questions and followed all their medication needs. I know my dogs enjoyed having someone stop by and give them some loving while I was gone too. She also sent me the cutest pictures of my babies! So grateful for Laura!”

“I absolutely love Michelle!! I'm pretty sure there isn't anyone sweeter than her! We came in for a short vacation/concert. We have anxious dogs, and thankfully she has experience with that. She was so helpful and willing to stay with our dogs the whole time we were gone. They fell in love with her!! We were able to have a great time at our event without worrying at all! I cannot recommend her enough. We have had quite a few sitters of the past few years, and she is hands-down the best!!”

“Brittany was great! She was super communicative and friendly. She engaged with our dog so well and her visits with her went perfectly. We are appreciate her help and would absolutely book with her again. Thank you, Brittany!”

About: I love dogs and know how important they are to their family. I've been around dogs throughout my whole life and have watched all kinds of dogs varying in size and age, and will take care of your dog with the love and attention they deserve. I have a flexible work-from-home situation and work on-call in the evenings so I tend to have a lot of time in the weekdays. I can usually accommodate last-minute care if my availability is free. I have an 11-year-old dog (mixed-breed, medium size) who can accompany your dog if you'd like them to get interaction. Comfortable walking up to 3 dogs at a time, can feed, play fetch, and crate your dog if required to help them exercise and stay on track with their usual schedule.

About: Pets are family and animals are my life! I have always had pets growing up as a child and my love for them has grown into my adulthood even more. I have a passion for learning and understanding all different types of animals. My experience in pet care is from having my own pets as well as caring for family and friends pets. I'm currently employed by Trots Dogs Walking, which has added to my knowledge and experience. I provide safe, nurturing care for all animals. I’m friendly and trustworthy putting pets and their families at ease with reliable, loving care. I'm currently working part time as a dog walker for Trots Dogs, so I have plenty of down time throughout the week to pet sit and love your furries. I follow the specific instructions and guidelines, ensuring all pets are safe, well-fed, exercised, loved, and comfortable. I make sure each and every family pet member is taken care of just like you would.

About: Hi! I’m a devoted pet parent and passionate animal lover who treats every pet like family. For the past 4+ years, I’ve shared my life with my own fur baby, and she’s truly become my best friend. Spending my days caring, playing, and bonding with her has taught me how to build trust, show love, and pay attention to the little things that matter most to animals. What sets me apart is the level of care I bring by being thoughtful, detail-oriented, and heartwarming. I’ve learned to read pets' emotions, recognize when something isn’t quite right, and respond quickly. After navigating health issues with my own pup, I know how to stay calm, be prepared, and act fast when needed, always putting their safety and comfort first. I'm also very mindful of my surroundings during walks or social encounters. I’ve developed a strong sense of how to read the body language of unfamiliar dogs and can quickly spot when another dog may be feeling anxious or reactive. This helps me avoid risky situations and ensures that the dogs in my care are always safe and well-protected. Whether your pet needs a cuddle buddy, a playful companion, or someone to keep a watchful, loving eye while you’re away, I’m here to give them the same love and care I give my own. I'm currently available full time to care for your pets! I recently moved to the U.S. with my husband and our fur baby due to his job. I am going to school to learn english as english is my second language so I hope that Rover also gives me the oportunity to meet many animal lover parents and helps me get more involved with the community. On the side I love working out and when I am not with my family or at school I am typically running and excercising, as that is a big part of my life. I’m here to provide the specific care your pet needs whether it’s a visit, a walk, respecting their space, offering a safe crate or area to relax, or keeping track of feeding times. I pay close attention to every detail to make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and comfortable. I know how important peace of mind is when you’re away from your furry family member, so I’m happy to send as many photos and videos as you’d like. I truly love making pet parents feel calm and confident that their baby is in great hands.

“Lauren took care of Dakota by dropping in 3 times a day for an hour each time. I cannot recommend her enough. Dakota easily bonded with her and seemed to just know she was a good human! Lauren arrived promptly and sent me pictures throughout the day. Texting me with updates as requested. She’s awesome! I will definitely be booking her again in the future! :)”

About: I missed having dogs at home. Unfortunately I lost both of them last year. I had them for 16yrs. I have experience with senior dogs. I know how to put injections such as Insuline shots and give them medicine. I live in Long Beach, very close to LBG, very convenient airport. I like to keep the dogs at the house and just have a daily routine as they do at own home. I tried not to take them to places unless is required. I'm currently working part time and working from home. I'm available most week days and weekends. I'd rather take reservations from Thursday thru Sunday and some holidays too. Only one family at the time, no more than 3 pets. I just moved to Long Beach. Bixby Knolls area. Very close to Long Beach Airport. Very convenient and easy airport to flight from. Safe environment, a lot of places to go for a walk and 3 story townhouse, hard wood floors with small balcony, small patio and garage. Enough space to spoiled your dog. Gates to keep the dogs away from the stairs as well.

“Bridget was great with communication and was very accommodating on such short notice. She sent daily photos and updates for both my kitties. She was nice enough to vacuum the litter spillage from their litter boxes also. I would highly recommend and I’ll be sure to rebook for my next vacation knowing Xeno and Misty are in good hands.”

I have two friendly dogs who love to play. They are very friendly and we love to walk and go to the dog park, beach, or on a hike all the time.

I am a college student looking for income for the summer, and I enjoy dogs so much. I take care of my dog daily, which includes playing tug of war, taking her out, feeding and making sure she has water, bike rides, etc. I am a highly energetic person who cares for dogs deeply, so I assure you I will play, feed, and love your dog unconditionally. My dog sleeps in my bed and knows many tricks, so if you'd like your dog to learn tricks I can do that as well!

About: I have been taking care of and loving pets for about 5 years. Through either having my own pet or taking care of family, friends, and neighbors pets. I have not taken care of any senior dogs or cats yet, nor have I done much medication (other than pills) but I am very open and eager to learn. I am currently an 18 year old (almost 19) who is a full time student in college but since it's summer I am off. I also do have a "real job" (part time) as-well but I will definitely work with you and around my schedule for your animals to make sure they are well taken care of. I joined Rover because I love caring for animals and I would also like the opportunity to make new friends along with making a little extra money to help pay for my college tuition. I am willing to work around your animals needs and change my schedule so that your pets get the love and attention they deserve. I am a very good listener and I will take care of your pet exactly how you tell me to. I will make sure they are well fed and loved while they are in my control. I will make sure they get any medicine they need, cleaned up after, walked, fed, watered, and whatever else is needed. I will keep in contact with you while you are gone sending you photo updates of your pet as-well so that way you know your pet is happy and healthy. 😊

“Issis was awesome!!”

Shawn C.

“Shawn does an outstanding job taking care of my dogs.”

Michael T.
“Mike has been watching my dog for over 2 years. I think he loves animals more than people. The worst thing you can say about Mike is that he likes the San Francisco Giants. From the moment my dog, Jerry, met Mike, he loved him immediately. Jerry was a pound pit who was found in a cardboard box. He has been sceptical with most people (not aggressive), but has always found Mike to be a person of safety. His soft and nice demeanor makes people, and animals, feel at ease. When Mike watches Jerry, I do not ever question the well-being of my dog. I only question that my dog will be less enthusiastic that he has to return to his actual owner. Mike is a five star person.”

Melina A.
“Melina is a true dog whisperer! My dogs adore her, I think they like her more than me! She sends updates and pictures regularly so I know how well taken care of they are in her hands You will be lucky to have Melina as a walker or sitter!”

Serenity L.
“Serenity is positive loving and attentive. She is a very responsible young adult. She loves animals especially dogs. She is very strong so therefore your dog will never get away. She really enjoys walking dogs and being outside and caring for an animal comes natural to her. I think Serenity would be a great dog sitter for any dog as she can be silly and just become one of the dogs or become the pack leader when necessary.”

Shay W.
“As a neighbor we’ve watched Shay grow up. He has cared for our cat when we were away on vacation, and we couldn’t have been happier with the experience! It is clear to us that he has a genuine love for animals and takes his responsibilities very seriously.”

Alena M.
“I am an RN and a former pet sitter and owner of a pet sitting business in northern Illinois. Alena is my daughter and was about 10 years old when I retired from nursing and began my pet sitting business. She frequently went with me as I cared for my clients and consequently knows very well what is required of a pet sitter/dog walker. She loves animals and understands their needs and how to play with them and make them feel loved. She understands the importance of communicating with the pet owner and of following owner instructions as requested. She understands the importance of safety for the pets in her care, especially if out walking in areas where other pets are present, as well as carefully securing the pets in her care when completing her visit. She is competent, honest, gentle and loving. She would be a GREAT pet sitter/dog walker and, in general, a GREAT employee!”

Tara S.

“Yes!!! Tara was so good with the cats. We felt really comfortable with them in her care! Thank you thank you thank you.”

Lizzet E.
“Lizzet was wonderful, she took care of my 2 dogs Day Day and Ralo and my 2 cats Willow and Baby D. They absolutely love her! She wouldn’t mind me calling for updates all the time and understood that my pets are like my kids. She also did and a amazing job giving them their daily walks and ended with giving all four of them baths, which could be really hard, all 4 smelled so good. I would def use her for all my future needs I could 100% trust her with my babies.”
