About: I can’t compare myself with other sitters, other than to say I love animals. I’m a recently retired federal employee with the National Weather Service. I love dogs and cats and looking to stay busy. I’m recently retired so my schedule is very flexible. I can provide walks or in-home supervision. My schedule is wide open and adjustable if helpful. I just completed my first Rover booking and really enjoyed it. Clear communication is critical before and during, in case unexpected things occur. Also, during the 4th of July weekend I watched my daughter’s dogs. I dealt with their reactions to the never ending fireworks and a stressful medical situation with one of the dogs that fortunately turned out OK.

About: I love the outdoors and playing with dogs when i can! I am very clean and respectful person and would provide nothing but quality care for your animals. I would love to have dogs in my life, but am not ready for the full time commitment of having one of my own. Running, hiking, walking will all be part of the deal when I can. I am a full time student at NDSU Nursing through Sanford, and would love to make your dogs part of my free time! I was raised around many dog breeds ranging from Siberian Husky, Pit Bulls to little shih tzus! I am comfortable with any and all dog breeds and would love to meet all of your fur babies! I'm currently in nursing school - and I love to get out and enjoy the outdoors as I can and when the weather allows. With my schedule it would be hard to have an animal of my own but I would love to hang with your fur babies in the mean time. Unfortunately I don't have a private yard or anything for animals - and the best option would be to host your animals at your home in the comfort of their own space!
About: Bilingual. When I was born, my family already had a German Shepherd who was with us until 2005. Since then, I’ve cared for dogs, cats, birds, turtles, and even chickens, learning how to adapt to pets of all ages and personalities. Had my first dog of my own in 5th grade and stayed with me until 2021, and along the way I also raised cats, rescued a turtle, and cared for both a parrot and a parakeet. I recently moved to Bismarck and, while I haven’t had my own pets this past year, I’ve been dog-sitting my relatives’ pups and dogs. About: I’ve grown up with cats and dogs in my house since I was born. I currently own 2 dogs, Finn & Sasha. I have experience from small dogs to extra large dogs, elderly dogs and puppies, calm dogs and ones that crave chaos. Whatever category your dog fits in, I’m your person. Sara was wonderful with my cats. I have a new addition to the crew and she was awesome about helping him do well during the first time I was away from him. They have a complicated feeding routine, and Sara took notes and then took great care of them. She sat with them and kept them company which they loved.
Rose did an amazing job taking care of my cats over Christmas. She went above and beyond by bringing them Christmas presents (cat toys) - so thoughtful! Communication was excellent; she sent prompt, detailed updates with photos at every check-in. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
