About: Does your pet shed? It's okay, me too! I've been pet-setting for all kinds of critters. I'm good with small dogs (I'm a chihuahua-whisperer), big dogs, medium and mutt dogs. I can care for elderly animals and multi-pet homes. Like a postal worker, I'm not deterred by "snow, rain, heat, or gloom of night." Unlike a postal worker, I've never been bit or chased (I will encourage zoomies). If Fido loves to play tug-of-war or your pup is more of a doze-in-the-sun type, I'll match their energy. Whatever your medication and meal-time routine looks like, or kinda-silly bed-time ritual is, I'll do my best to reduce any disruption or distress while you're away. I'm currently working in a freelance capacity, so my schedule is fairly flexible. Whether that means you need someone to pop in quickly for some play-time and a bowl re-fill, or arranging an extended/overnight stay, I can arrange my availability. Planning is important! Providing ample time for me to mark off time in my calendar is preferable. I'm a big believer in taking notes and paying attention to details! I'll follow your routine for any medication, feeding, exercise, playtime, and pet-specific preferences to the best of my ability. I'm no green-thumb, but for extended stays, I can also assist with minor plant-care, mail collecting, yard maintenance (sidewalk shoveling, poo pick-up) if needed and the right tools are provided. If you like text/email pupdates or photos, I can be sure to keep you in the loop.
About: I have been taking care of animals all my life. I currently have a Labrador retriever who has had tplo so I understand complex animals and their needs I enjoy taking care of animals in many different life stages as they are all important. I usually work 4-3pm most days but I have a 30 minutes lunch I can use to potty your dog and even go before work in the early hours if needed I can/am willing to give and do many tasks including walking, feeding, medication administering, cleaning up, and taking outside/pottying. I love to cuddle and play with dogs so I’m willing to spend a little extra time to bond with them!

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
