About: Six years of life with a large dog will teach you things no certification can. I know what it means to be fully committed to an animal â the routines, the quirks, the way a big dog takes over your couch, your schedule, and your heart. That hands-on experience is what I bring to every sit. Pet care isnât something I squeeze into my day â itâs built into it. I work from home full-time, which means no long stretches alone for your dog and flexible walk times that adapt to their needs rather than a rigid schedule. We also have a fully fenced yard with open-door access throughout the day, so dogs can move in and out freely and get fresh air and exercise whenever they want â no waiting, no scheduling. Your dog stays in a real home environment â not a crate, not a kennel. With a fenced yard, open outdoor access throughout the day, and someone home full-time, theyâll have space to roam, play, and relax on their own schedule. I follow your feeding, medication, and routine instructions closely and send regular updates so youâre never left wondering how theyâre doing.
âAmanda did an amazing job carrying for our boy! He came home so tired from all the playing and she kept me well updated even said her kids didnât want him to come home. Will definitely use again maybe even just for a day for him to visit and let some energy out!â

About: I have been around dogs my whole life. I currently have a chiweenie named Mya and often watch my parents special needs bichon who has Addisonâs. I work straight weekends as a RN. Availability is M-T with the exception of some weekends upon request or if needing to extend time. Our home has a fenced in yard and minimal stairs. Can accommodate to dogs who need crating as well! Dogs must be good around kids and get along with our dog as well.
âLefse seemed to have a great time! He got lots of walks, which are his favorite! We loved getting the updates with pictures every day. We would definitely feel comfortable having Lefse stay with them again.â

âMcKenna was excellent and exceeded expectations! She took the time to learn my dogs commands and schedules! She also keeps you updated with photos! My boys enjoyed their stay with her and her dog Harper!â

âWe highly recommend Christy as a dog sitter! She sent us regular photos and updates, took our dog on daily walks, and was more than happy to give her the medications she needed. She made the entire experience easy and stress-free for us. We felt completely comfortable knowing our dog was in such caring and capable hands. We would absolutely trust her to watch our dog again!â

About: My name is Angela I have 3 dogs and one cat . I live in the country so my dogs have enough space to run and have fun. They make my day happier. I work part time Monday to Friday from 8 am to 4:30 pm . I go home for lunch time and my schedule at work is very flexible. I have a backyard but it is fenced, it is safe for my pets but I am always watching them. my dogs are very friendly and they love to play

âAdria was so incredibly nice to work with. She made me feel extremely at ease with leaving Koda with her. She sent pictures of Koda during her weekend stay and let me know how Koda was doing. Drop off and pick up were very easy as we had a â get acquaintedâ meeting days before the time she would dog sit for me. I was impressed with Rover and Adria. Adria was also very helpful in helping me figure out the Rover process because it was my first time using the app. I would definitely recommend her for watching your fur baby.â

About: Iâve grown up around animals and canât imagine life without them. I have two dogsâages 5 and 1âand an 8-year-old cat who runs the house. I love getting to know each petâs personality and making them feel safe, loved, and at home while their people are away. Whether itâs playtime with an energetic pup or keeping a senior pet comfortable, I care for every animal like theyâre my own. I work full-time Monday through Friday but can come home during my lunch break if needed. Iâm home most weeknights and weekends, so your pet will still get plenty of attention and care outside of work hours. Your petâs safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have a fully fenced yard that is perfect for secure playtime and potty breaks. I share my home with two friendly dogs and a cat, so your pet is welcome to socialize or have their own quiet space if preferred. I also have kennels and pet gates available to ensure everyone stays safe and comfortable when separation is needed. We have a toddler in the home, and I am intentional about maintaining a calm, well supervised environment to ensure all interactions are safe and positive.

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dogâs vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitterâs care.
Many sitters in ND ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, youâre adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
