I just completed my first Rover booking and really enjoyed it. Clear communication is critical before and during, in case unexpected things occur. Also, during the 4th of July weekend I watched my daughter’s dogs. I dealt with their reactions to the never ending fireworks and a stressful medical situation with one of the dogs that fortunately turned out OK.

I’d like to know about their personality; how do they get along with other dogs, people, etc? Any health issues or concerns would be important to know as well.
A typical day
Every dog is unique, so I’d tailor it to them individually. That could mean some longer walks, playing fetch or simply keeping less energetic or older dogs company with some quieter time together.

Pet care experience
I can’t compare myself with other sitters, other than to say I love animals. I’m a recently retired federal employee with the National Weather Service. I love dogs and cats and looking to stay busy.

Jeff was a very good choice for us to leave Sammy in his care. He communicated with us on a regular basis and sent lots of pictures, which allowed us to enjoy our time away, knowing Sammy was comfortable. We were surprised at how quickly Sammy responded to Jeff. He is usually pretty shy. We will definitely rebook him.
Jeff has taken great care of my dogs several times. He is flexible and kept me updated with pictures and videos while I was away. My dogs were well taken care of and happy. Would definitely recommend him!
